It is so important when making vids for RUclips to have a nice, soft listenable voice and you certainly have it. If you like The Killers and good bass, check out 'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine' and well done on your 'four reactions in one vid' format.
Yes that's definitely eye liner! You MUST check out their performance of All These Things That I've Done (Live 8 2005) - you can see his eyeliner up close in HD then! It's a great performance too 😀 The Royal Albert Hall concert in 2009 is wonderful. I also recommend the music videos Read My Mind and The Man.
That video for "All These Things That I've Done" is a lot easier to follow when you realize that the scenes are out of order. The numbers on the cards that the women are holding up represent the number of the scene that follows. It's a really interesting concept, and yes, moustaches and trailer parks are pretty hard to beat. Haha. What's really strange is at the end of "Scene 1" where Brandon falls in the shower, "Scene 2" has them falling from the sky dressed as cowboys and Brandon sporting a moustache now, like they're angels or something, then they start fighting with the women who seem to represent evil of some sort. Pretty strange, but cool. On a side note, that song is actually a prayer. Makes sense when you really pay attention to the lyrics. "When theres nowhere else to run, is there room for one more son"..."I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" etc. Brandon Flowers is extremely religious and this song is basically about religious frustration.
“Somebody Told Me” was one of those rare songs that caught my ear and I had to whip out Shazam to find out what it was! Remains my favorite by them, but I haven’t heard a whole lot.
WYWY is absolutely sublime! The riff is killer!!! Always moves me. I have two suggestions that I think you going to love them: murder on the dancefloor by Sophie Ellis Bextor (the music video is insanely fun) and she used to be mine by Sara Bareilles (heart touching).
OMG I'm absolutely delighted to see The Killers on your channel, what a phenomenal band with a fabulous front man. You've went and made my day....again lol 🤣😂 THANK YOU ❤
they also used to release christmas songs if youre ever interested in doing a holiday special theyre great my favorite album of theirs is Sam's Town you picked from their first album hot fuss. GREAT Video!!
Love the Killers ❤️ Please react to The Man, Human and one of their Live from the Royal Albert Hall performances (2009) , like Jenny Was a Friend of Mine. I was at that show and they were phenomenal!
Yep, that was eyeliner. 😀 I'd love to see more of your reactions to The Killers. You should check out The Man, that's a song that can be appreciated on so many levels.
Great reaction as always! Would highly recommend another big early 2000's indie band - Bloc Party. Their a UK band, with a queer black lead singer Kele Okereke - who wrote most of the tracks. Was so great for me having his perspective in that genre at that time, and hearing him talk about gay love in big indie songs. Recommend Banquet, The Prayer, So Here We Are, One More Chance
I really need to listen to The Killers more. I've said it before, but I'd love you to react to videos by the band Hurts, by the way. I think you'd like them!
Really enjoyed these reactions! I know you will LOVE their song "The Man" so please react to that next - and also my favourite Killers song "Read My Mind".
Loved watching your reaction to The Killers and I’m looking forward to more. Check out some of their songs from their album “Day & Age” it’s great stuff!
Great reaction!!! God, I haven't listened to The Killers in such a long time, but brings back so many memories of the late noughties when they were arguably the biggest bands in the world. I'm a little sad that you didn't have Human rounding off this set of songs, I was anticipating it and it never came (is a just for the next video you do on The Killers, assuming you've not already heard the song)!!! What astounds me hearing them again is how distinctive their sound was, I'm not sure anyone and has the combination of bass, synth, and vocals that they have. From what I remember The Killers are/were from Las Vegas bit made it big here in the UK before making it big stateside, don't know if this is true or a cause recollection, but correct me if I'm wrong anyone.
They still are a big band and sell out tours across the world. Pressure Machine released last year was the most complete and beautiful album to come out in years. :)
@@LoreOrr I'm sure they do have a loyal fanbase and are a great band, especially live, so i can believe this, it's just they don't have the hits that everybody knows, maybe it's just the way the music industry has changed with streaming services and social media, you just never seen to hear about bands like them and even I who have a number of their earlier albums didn't know this. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll go and check that out now.
Love "Somebody Told Me." ... In addition to Brandon Flowers from the Killers, a bunch of early to mid-2000s male artists from pop-punk bands wore guy-liner on their lashes, like Pete Wentz, the bass player from Fall Out Boy ("This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race" and "Thanks for the Memories") and Brendon Urie from Panic! at the Disco ("I Write Sins, Not Tragedies" ... have you reacted to that one yet, or do you already know it? ... and "Hallelujah").

This format of watching 4 videos from an artist at a time is probably my favourite on RUclips. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much!!
Yeah... ..my favourite too (picking faves out of 4 songs) cool idea.
Agree! ❤

Thanks for the feedback!
"Crossfire", "Only the Young" and "I Can Change" - three favorites by Brandon Flowers as a solo artist.
When You Were Young is from their second album Sam's Town. YES! Please do more reactions to them 😍
Somebody Told Me is my second favorite with Read My Mind in first place. Love seeing 4 by the same artist together.

Great reaction! Somebody Told Me is definitely my favorite song from the, and it's always overshadowed by Mr. Brightside.
I love your very brilliant comment about the different emotions you felt . Spot on 😢😂
The Killers are brilliant live . Mr Brightside took of in the uk , should watch them live at the festivals in the UK. Great band .
You do such a great job with your videos! I also love the four video “deep dive” releases. Great format.
Thanks so much!

Seeing The Killers live was amazing.
Excellent review as always... ..look forward to part 2 The Killers 👌😃🙏

Yessss Read My Mind! No one has done that one and it's the best. The lyrics and vocals, music, all of it is wonderful. 😍
So so good. They are just damn good.
Loved watching your reaction to The Killers and I’m looking forward to more. Check out some of their songs from their album “Day & Age” it’s great stuff!
Thanks!!
Next you need to watch their live performances and Brand Flowers solo Music vids. :) You will love songs and how gorgeous he is in them
Will do!! 😊
@@PancakeMarshmallowDude Yay! Look forward to it sweetie. Love your reactions

I love these guys so much. The first track I ever heard was 'Somebody Told Me' and I knew then, it was going to be a life long, love affair. ❤

I reacted to it, but the video was blocked.
The Killers are fun, great reaction. You might enjoy Franz Ferdinand, they're quirky

That version of the All these things vid is awful. Try and listen with the UK version of the video. Much more in fitting with the song.
I liked them when I was very young I don’t really like them anymore
Satire?
Check out Miss Atomic Bomb if you get a few??
