    I think this is the the best bang for your buck spent if your'e looking to fill primer tubes easily and quickly. I know there are other units out there that are a lot nicer but for the money this one is tough to beat. This Thing is so satisfying to watch the primers go down. Make a 10h video of it. Better than the campfire videos.😂

      I couldn't agree more. I always giggle a little when I load tubes.

    I just use the regular tube, without that black plastic coupler, line up with the hole, hold it tight and pull the trigger... I actually removed those black plastics altogether and using them like other plain tubes... Works like a charm...

    looks great! Will the Arsenal tubes work with RCBS 9460 Auto Priming Tool?

    You don’t have to hold the tube in. Put it in and then twist it. The ears hold it in.

      Good grief I’m an idiot. Well I learn something new every day. I always felt it turn underneath but never bothered to flip it upside down to look. Totally makes sense now. I’m not perfect and I’m always learning so thank you!!

      @@FClassJohn I'm sure you figured this out by now, but if you remove the black adapter off the tube you can hold the dillon tube and won't need to transfer from 1 tube to the other

  • @jawsmod
    @jawsmod 2 года назад

    3:14 why do you hold it? You do know that with a 1/4-1/2 turn it will lock in place and you do not have to "hold it".

    Hey John, did you ever try the Double Alpha PRIMAFILL version?

  • @chiefus3536
    @chiefus3536 Год назад

    I have just purchased one of these. Here in Australia $161.00. What a disappointment this was. It will not feed Federal large pistol primers at all. Not sure if it only works with rifle primers. Haven't tried other brand pistol primers.
    In my opinion it is junk. But that is just my opinion. sorry I purchased it.

    I bought one several years ago and it was a pos, the most scarification I got from it was when I hit it with a 8pound sledgehammer

    I have one but I do not use it. To many upside down primers. After loading 100 rounds I have 10% install wrong and I need to break down the rounds a waste the primer and case. Load the primers manually no waste.

      That's weird. I've literally done thousands and thousands and never had an upside down one. But hey, every company puts out a few with issues so maybe you had a bad one. I can definitely say that there is an order to putting in the tray and then the filling tube or it creates a gap that can cause hangups but otherwise it's been great. No matter what I'm glad you have a process that works for you.

      Tony Walters - that’s interesting - at what point in the process with the Vibra Prime did the primers flip over? The restricted depth of the tray should prevent them flipping as they migrate to the tube so did they flip as they went from the tray ‘spout’ & into the hole to the tube?

    • @FClassJohn
      @FClassJohn  4 года назад +1

      webley701 you flip the primers first before you put the lid on. Once the lid is on there’s literally no way the primers can flip again. After you out the lid on, you insert the tube and twist to lock it on then you’re good to go.

      @@Russell-1 When the primer jambs upon entering the tube, some how they flip. I find at least 10 primers installed upside down. I no longer use the Vibra-Prime primer..

      My Vibra Prime doesn't work with WIN primers. The WINs are sticky, hang-up in the drop hole, and often times flip before going down the tube. The only solution I have found (and I have tried MANY) is to dust the WIN primers with a small amount of mica (e.g. Lyman Ultrafine Dry Case Neck Lube) and the primers then flow nicely. But I haven't decided (or figured out) whether dusting with mica will cause some other problem. So if you don't use WINs, the VB is cost effective solution.

    You can just shove the Dillon tube in the hole and hold it there and fill it directly I never use the tube it came with.

      Thank you and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. I really think it’s hard to beat for the money and that’s even after owning the Dillon automatic primer filler.
