Most intense staredown in UFC history as well, I agree, these 2 are true warriors. Would've been gladiators if born in a different time, glad it's not to the death and can watch em rematch. With you in that I'd happily watch this fight as many times as they'll book it
Jiri has a good chance because Alex does not defend very well with his open stance. I like both fighters very much, I will be happy with whomever wins, it will be a great fight.
Brother get your defense on point, Alex is so scary. Yall both rose at similar times in different weight classes, and became 2 of my favorites. I wish you werent fighting each other lol. Be careful
This guys funky chicken technique is just weird . He takes massive punishment every fight . He is durable and able to pull out the win most times .. But I hope he knows that it’s the wrong approach with a technical power fighter that has dynamite in his fists . Alex is not going to go for those jerky moves. Wrestling is the path of least resistance. I doubt very much he’ll change
He had Alex on his skates. Re-watch the first fight. The one Jiri fought after long layoff, worst shoulder injury and so on. Still won 1st round, lost via early stoppage.
@@SBohsothishappenedThe stoppage was odd, but I rewatched and I believe my count was 14 unanswered shots. With Jiri having the reaction of falling down backwards to one of them. It was odd, but we've seen situations where guys go out to one punch, then get woken back up to the next. I think something like that happened.
@@andrewf6111 All I'm saying is, that there is no rule for stopping after x amount of punches, the rule is when a fighter is not actively protecting himself. Jiri was. The unanswered shot is not really a thing in UFC/MMA. Unless justifying this stoppage. Alex fell on Jiri, that's when fight was stopped. Weird.
@@SBohsothishappened delusional. Jiri was slumped by a dozen+ hammer fists and some elbows. Alex didn't "fall on him", he dazed him badly. There was no reason to let Alex hit him 5 or 10 MORE times
So hyped for this fight its unbelievable. These dudes could fight 100 times in a row and I would still love it.
