On a clear day one of the best views from the summit in the north Fells (imo) and a climb I have done many times and always enjoy it. Shame about the weather you got, especially for may but well done on hitting the top and I still think I would have preferred the boring blue skies....Cheers Alan
Thanks, Alan. The weather started terrible but gradually improved, and the clouds broke open for a few glorious moments just as I got to the top, so I felt quite lucky. Of course it would be nice to have a few less clouds 😊 cheers from barnyz

Cool that the parking is free, it looks popular with the RVs. A beautiful part of England and the weather made it very atmospheric. You captured some great views down in the valley and fun watching the sheep. Haha yep that's exactly how my body would feel lol. Great that you still managed to capture some great shots down, despite the weather.
Thank you. I had spent the previous days hiking elsewhere in the lakes, and I was sore and had many blisters and remeber really struggling up this fell, totally worth it though 😁 have a lovely Sunday evening cheers from barnyz
