I'll be perfectly honest, I didn't see a great deal of difference between the two, but this could be for a couple of reasons: 1, I'm watching this on my 2017 Surface Pro which has a 13.3" screen, so not the best. 2, my glasses prescription gets stronger every year so I think I miss a lot more fine detail than I would have, say, 20, or even 10 years ago. So if I was going to invest in one of these I think I'd likely go with the cheaper one, especially as I'd be using it on a 1080p 32" TV. Always appreciate these videos, thanks for continuing to do them!
I always recommend to people watching to watch at 4K or the highest quality possible & on the biggest display possible :) There's defiantly a difference but I understand if it wasn't very obvious at first viewing :) No problem and thank you for continuing to support :)
Xbox analogue video is infamously bad so it is unsurprising that the OSSC's LPF does a better job of transcoding the picture for digital output, although I often forget how much of a beast it is in that regard.
Don't forget, in this video the PAL XBOX was modded otherwise the results you saw wouldn't have been possible :) I have a video on the main channel showing this in depth but, yes otherwise the OSSC is a great upscaler & got the best out of the console :)

Just a shame the PAL XBOX requires a lot of modding to get the results you saw in this video otherwise it would be a lot worse in video quality! :O

Wow portta looks very good for its price
It is ok in this case but believe me, it is it cheap & sadly not all component support consoles look this good using it (as others have told me)
