She is one of my favorite characters. She is so complex. She did wrong things, indeed. But the prophecies are dangerous things. And she suffered from her mistakes, in the end.
She's one of mine too blinded by faith and then broken when she realized it was all a lie and then she helped save the world
Such a complex character. Her rise as a dark character with a singular vision of right and wrong in her eyes. She descended and still fulfill her purpose. Her character arc was great.

She did a lot of bad things. But, she never did any of those things out of malice. She truly believed she was doing the right thing. If not for her actions at the Battle of Ice and Fire and steering Arya to her destiny everybody would be dead now. You may not agree with her methods but you can't complain about the results.
Can we apply this to Daenerys now?

I like her but...
She burned child - for what?
Her prophecies - so who was prince of light? Jon, Dany, Arya, Stannis? Or no one of them?
Her god - does lord of light exists? Or her powers are caused just by special “craft”.
What about others members of that cult? They doesnt see apocalyptic prophecies? Where they were? In Assay, Meeren... but at the north? Only two of them.
Are events of got side effects of her actions and believes, or does she only interpret it like that?
We will never know (in matter of series, books are pretty different now). And for me thats the point. We dont know. We could guess, we could believe. But no one could be sure, just like her.
And of course everyone can complain about her methods. She instigated murders of innocet people, human sacrifices, leading army in pre-lost battle, death of her kig, murder of his brother. In based on what? Visions in flames.
I forgive her for Shereen. I really love her now

I'm really angry, because of this shitty "function" of the Lord of Light in the Battle of Winterfell.
I though there will be some great war between the ice (Night King) and the fire (Lord of Light) , but there were nothing like this.
D&D ruin this show to an unworthy level.

Lol was the ice not present in the NK??? And was fire not present in Dragons and Melisandre???
The battle was great just Bran was useless and Jon was useless and Arya shouldn’t have killed the NK.
@@Rohan-sp5uq You're right, but I think the dragons were only responsible for the Dance of the Dragons, and the NK was really stupid. Why didn't he used the white walkers, as they were nearly his best fighters?
I don't think Jon was useless, but I think it would be better, if he kills the NK in a great fight between only them.
I think this show ruins all the really good conspiration theories, like who is Azor Ahai or something like this.
Tamás Végh agreed, no prophecies at all and not much foreshadowing came true. I still think the best is yet to come in season 8 with Cersei vs Dany vs John and the golden company breaking their contract.
