Much respect for riding that loaded big bike on those rocks and sand. For me there’s large gap between what my GS is capable of, and what I’m capable of.

Seen a lot of Morocco videos but this series has sold it to me, I know you’re not a big fan of off road but seeing it this real showed with the ups and downs what an adventure it was and that’s what appeals to me. Great work, my fav so far, can see me watching this time and time again until I get there ❤

Looks like an awesome trip. Great views and roads. Those bikes are so heavy to pick up when you drop them but, like you say, the fact they can do it all from long motorway days to these little trails is exceptional. Thanks as ever for sharing and inspiring us all

Have a look at Adventure Tracks UK for some good routes in UK that are possible on big adventure bikes. ‘Epic Motorcycle Adventures!’ recently did a series of vids in Wales that you might like to look at!

I’m just starting week 2 of 4 , bimbling my way around Morocco, Alone, on my 2016 DCT. A/ Twin, on road tyres & limited off-road experience , so a wealth of useful information here.
Can’t disagree with anything you said. It’s a wee bit different to riding the country lanes around Epping where I live😂

Took your advice about the hotels Bruce, myself and Helen are away there 7th April for 3 weeks so got a few luxury ones, and a few others to experience the real Morocco🥴

My dear god I just looked at the price of the tour, 5150 Sterling, way out of my price bracket and using a heavy bike on dirt roads to top it off, definitely for the well to do.
No wonder I have to sit through so many ads on RUclips, must be good money to be made. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Good effort big man , dirt roads become easier the more you ride on them, but on a 690/701 size bike they are a lot easier, they can even be used off road. 😂😂😂😂

The price is definitely up there, but you do get all this included:
Bike hire and insurance
Fuel
Hotels
Ferry
All food and drink (not alcoholic)
Fully guided.
So whilst it a a big outlay, it’s not massively outside what you’d end up spending anyway🤷♂️
@@teapotone I have to admit your vids don’t have many ad breaks, it is just RUclips in general seems to have ads every 5 minutes recently, it was a bit of a joke.
As for the cost, it is a pity more people won’t be able to have the same experience, most tours are over priced because they try and deliver more of a corporate experience, bit like flying business class over economy, still the same plane with the same destination just in more comfort and pampering.
I have only done one motorcycle tour and that was last year, six days off roading in Portugal, that was half the price, including the cost of my airfare from Australia and return, riding DR 350s, which for me were great for the trip.
I guess it depends on what cost you put on adventure and experience, I for one can’t justify that sort of money on one trip, I just spent roughly $15,000A, 7500 sterling on a 2 month trip around the UK and down to Croatia on my DR 650 that I shipped to the UK from Australia, that includes the shipping and airfare, fuel, insurance, accommodation, mostly camping, food.
Horses for courses I guess Bruce, by the way the DR 650 is the best bike in the world not the G/S, it is a third of the price and not updated every 2 years, it never changed from 1996 until now because Suzuki got it right first time. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
