Personally i give ring rust as a potential out for Wilder last performance. Hopefully as he been saying the Old Wilder is back. Malik Scott is a good friend but he should've never tried to make Wilder more technical. Wilder was great because of 1 reason. As long as he stops questioning his gift i give him a winning shot. Joshua recently got his confidence back so i would like to see Wilder do the same

Zhang have to knock out his opponent. If he can't, the judges can play dirty. Twice he was judged as loser even he knocked down his opponent a combined total of 5 times.
I’ve never had anyone over Wilder. Wilder is a one trick Pony and people just casually get their self caught in the crossfire. Zhang will give him what he needs.
The general Wilder blueprint to neutralize his right hand is kind of widely known now (look for Ben Davison's videos prior to Fury Wilder 2). Wilder needs to add more to his arsenal like a solid left hand -- at least in a check hook fashion if not adding the left hook in general.

So if you can keep that hand up either defending or in anticipation of an incoming punch, you neutralize the right hand's effectiveness. Definitely a smart bet for the betting man - I cannot see this going to the cards. No way this will go to points decision. Either way this will end in a stoppage. On paper, boxing aficionados might prefer the more technically proficient Zhang but given one mistake or just a lucky shot - that red right hand from Wilder can never be discounted.
If Zhang had any idea how to properly take care of his body, he'd be unstoppable. Wilder wouldn't have much of a chance. But...he's Zhang, and he's weird as fuck, so this might be closer than it should be.

I'm really excited for this match! Hopefully, Wilder gets his confidence back like Joshua did recently. When deontay brought Malik to be his head coach he went downhill from there. Malik tried to teach him to box, when that was never his strong suit. Got away from what made Deontay Deontay. He shld have NEVER lost to Parker and most likely will lose to Zhang. Hope I’m wrong though
Zhang have to knock out his opponent. If he can't, the judges can play dirty. Twice he was judged as loser even he knocked down his opponent a combined total of 5 times.

The general Wilder blueprint to neutralize his right hand is kind of widely known now (look for Ben Davison's videos prior to Fury Wilder 2). Wilder needs to add more to his arsenal like a solid left hand -- at least in a check hook fashion if not adding the left hook in general.
The thing is you need to have quicker feet to break him down, and one thing for sure is that Zhang has slow feet but fast hands
@@BraunBraker Ben Davison noted that the basic tactic is to keep the right side of Wilder occupied. Wilder's bombs start chambered around his chest. So if you can keep that hand up either defending or in anticipation of an incoming punch, you neutralize the right hand's effectiveness. Similarly, if you see him start to lower that hand, you know he's thinking of throwing the right hand.

Definitely a smart bet for the betting man - I cannot see this going to the cards. No way this will go to points decision. Either way this will end in a stoppage. On paper, boxing aficionados might prefer the more technically proficient Zhang but given one mistake or just a lucky shot - that red right hand from Wilder can never be discounted.
