red sn I also watch rolls royce reviews even though I can't afford one. However they are informative and give me inspiration for my own car/business/whatever
Got my iPhone 7 Plus two days ago. I always disliked Apppe because of their price-policy, but because of the fact that my android phone's battery was kind of broke (onscreen time halfed itself in the already replaced device, with the first one the charging plug broke) I had to get myself a new phone and i don't really like any of the latest android devices. So I decided to go with apple... And the only thing i can say is WOW This is the by far most amazing phone I've ever had and seen. And the issue with the headphone jack is no issue for me, i got bluetooth headphones (Sony MDR-1000X)
Hey! How was the transition ? Can you plug and play (use iphone as USB mass Storage). I have always considered iphones to be really expensive. Way back, I had the iphone 4. Wasn't impressed. But I suppose things have changed since then. I'm still rolling with the Galaxy S4, which has slowed down over the years and has a woefully bad batter. Could you please shed light on battery life and software stability ? Do you think it would Last you 3 years? Do revert Cheers
Aditya Sundar Hey! The iPhone will have no problem lasting 2 years, but I think pushing a phone for 3 years might not work very well. The battery on the regular 7 is fine. For me I have to charge it every other day, because I have school. Also you'll find that when you're not using your phone it's like it's off, and doesn't take up much battery, but when you put it to work, it will lose battery life kinda fast. Software stability, I think, is the least of your concerns. You'll get every new update on time, for at least 5 years I would think.
Aditya Sundar I also got it, after owning a note 5 for a year ad a half. Great battery life, lasts me 2 days unplugged with mild usage. Or a whole day of heavy usage, easily.
yes, for my iphone 7 plus if i am using it often like in the day, it loses 1% battery at least every hour, but the moment I am going to sleep, I woke up with only 3% battery loss during the 9 hour sleep, the phone really do knows when to pause and when to run. I'd say the phone checks for app activity every hour and if the apps are being used they are kept active, but once the phone isn't touched for several hours all apps go to sleep and battery drain is reduced by a lot. (I kept my phone with wifi on throughout the night with only a 3% drop over 9 hours, amazing) If battery saver was turned on, i'd say it will be a 1~2% drop in battery in 9 hours during sleep, although I haven't tried it before
As someone who was a hardcore Android fanboy, I now see why Apple is at the top of the food chain. After switching to the iPhone 7 just to give it a try to see what I'm bashing, it turns out it's actually far better than what I was expecting. I don't see myself switching back to Android in the foreseeable future.
Same I had a LG G3 you guys might say it's a bad phone, but for me it was a really good phone overall.I then switched over to the IPhone 7 since I love how iOS software works and looks.
Yes, I use android for my phones and I prefer to use an Ipad because IOS is better on a (gosh I always want to say tablet) Ipad than android on a tablet.
If apple and samsung made a phone together it would be lit. rumors say the iphone 8 will be having curved glass screens that will be manufactured by samsung, lets see if its true or if it will turn ok for both companies. samsung and apple are the best phones out there for real
I had a Galaxy S7 and recently switched to an iPhone 7, and man I love it. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of caveats to being locked into Apple's idea of a home screen, but iOS just has such a ridiculous advantage on battery life. My iPhone gets me around 5 hours of screen on time and we all know that iOS has ridiculous standby time. It is just perfect for me, because my old S7 would lose like 5% of battery on standby in about 45 minutes, which is quite terrible
Switched back to iPhone after 5 years using Android. Galaxy S3, Note 3 and LG V10. iOS is without a doubt, the best OS. Super, ultra responsive, zero lag, great display, great audio, great battery since I am not a heavy user, great camera, touch ID is great, buttons are placed where they should be. After having so many issues with Android, I wanted something that just worked. Not to mention Apple Carplay is far superior than Android Auto. I am extremely happy with my iPhone 7.
Andre N I'm in this same camp. I still own my note 3 and love to ROM it up and customize the hell out of it. It's still a decent device. But I'm so much happier with my 7 7plus over my s7edge. It's been so long since I've used an apple and I was blown away.. Favorite device I've ever used and I thought I'd like my s7edge or pixel better. Nope. Gaming and making music and editing it is far superior on iPhone.
***** not true. Grace UX is great and I know alot of peoe who switched from iPhone to a new samsung and they loved it. The freedom is great, and the screen and camera is AMAZING.
I own a Iphone7 plus and a galaxys7 edge. I like them both dont get me wrong but I feel like the iphone is much smoother and faster than the android. Both of them are good imo. If you like a fast ,clean smooth and good battery life get Iphone 7 plus. If ur into customizing ,rooting and all that etcc then get android . Simple.
iPhone 7: no microSD slot, no front-facing speakers, no headphone jack, crappy low-res 750p LCD screen, iOS is full of bugs. What a piece of junk! No wonder Android has 88% market share and growing every day. Edit: iPhone 7 is also missing fast charging. What a pos.
no phones have a sd slot,it actually has front facing speakers dumbass, most phones wont have it in a year or two plus you get an adapter with it so you can use your headphones, this has been awarded as the best lcd screen ever made by displaymate, thats android lol android has more market share since most of the world cant afford iphones out of top tier smartphones which are 650 usd and above apple has 78.6 percent of the market share
iOS is full bugs? Really? Nigga when android has been shit up to 5.0 or so. No one is forcing you to upgrade to the latest beta version of 10.something. Iphone has one of the best cameras also the reason why there is no sd slot is that iphones use nvme storage since 6s. They could improve on screen but IPS looks better than Amoled imo. Fast charging should have been added no excuse to that.
android has 88% of the market because theyre cheaper, and have more options. there are only 2 flagship iphones, and like a million android phones labeled as flagship.
Dave Satay google android xx problems and I'll guarantee you'll find 10x results aswell as critical issues such as bootloops. I never encountered any major issue which made me reconsider anything about switching devices. Meanwhile samsung added insane amount of bloat that made devices unusable up to galaxy s6 and that was all cool yeah?
The iPhone X wasn't exactly Apple's best kept secret. People literally knew exactly how the phone would look months before it was officially announced.
same...personally think his reviews are overrated though. Just says stuff already said in marketing ads over and when he mentions stuff there is no depth in details.
As an Android user, I gotta give credit where credit is due. These are things I like on the iPhone I wish many Android phones can get: 1.Continuous smoothness: Most Android phones get considerably slower after a year or 2 (My Nexus 6 just got super fast again but after a custom ROM install). 2.Battery: I'm convinced the iPhone has the best battery in terms of phones. It does decline at some point, but from my experience it takes more time than other phones. 3.Camera: I think some phones have done an awesome job at matching the quickness and efficiency of the iPhone camera, like the GS7 and Pixel, but most other phones are still lacking in terms of speed, quality and features. 4.Lower resolution: Why would this be a pro you ask? Well, I'm currently a Nexus 6 user with a phone that has a 6inch 1440p screen and barely 3 hours of Screen On Time, and I honestly don't really feel like I'd miss this huge screen or high resolution (that I can't distinguish unless I pressed my eyes onto the screen anyways) if it were exchanged with a slightly smaller 1080p screen like the iPhone 7 Plus, in exchange for more battery. 5.General longevity: iPhone users generally use it for 3 or 4 years compared to *most* others which upgrade earlier unfortunately.
I totally agree with you. I have had an LG G3 on Verizon ever since it came out. Its camera was freaking amazing, the battery was great, and the screen was very crisp. But then 2015 came around, and I was very jealous. GS6, LG G4, HTC One M9, they were soo much better and performed better. And as time went on, my G3 started to slow down and lag and overheat for no reason. I decided last year that "we" had a good run together, and it was time to move on. So I bought an iPhone 7 Plus for myself, and I love it. When I am a little older, I want to buy both because I love both platforms equally a ton.
Dennis Vaskulat I love android and I don't think I'll switch back to Apple anytime soon, especially considering my upcoming career in development (having an open source device to learn android development with will be nice), but I do miss my older iPhone. It's kinda funny, a lot of people don't like how the iPhones are so similar each year, yet that's neat considering how much the older ones last. I do think my Nexus 6 has done me good though, I can't imagine a non-stock android experience (the custom ROM is actually built much better than stock due to the awesome Nexus community). I actually think that the ultimate device is a jailbroken iPhone. I mimicked a lot of my current Android features on my old iPhone 4S a few years ago, including the lock pattern, root browsing, modifying apps, using the phone as a boot USB, etc.
Amoled doesn't lose power from higher resolutions though. Higher resolution from running games can eat a tiny shred more, but it's the bigger screen that's hurting batter life. Also the 810 is a terrible processor. It gets way too hot and was never very efficient to start with. The other thing is they use smaller batteries, but still charge more. That makes no sense. They're not saving you anything, so why care about batttery efficiency? If you look at GSMArena's battery rankings that include hundreds of phones and tablets, idevices aren't even in the top 30, but they top the price cap...
@@crazytarga1195 it's not worth it Regard to less quantity of ram and it's battery life You could get a great android Or if you are into ios ecosystem You could wait a bit and get a great and better iPhone like 8 or X They have more years of software support and great camera and most importantly battery
@@crazytarga1195 yeah... The stock and simple iPhone 7 isn't worth it But iPhone 7 plus do worth it It has more quantity of ram and bigger battery and camera has great saturation and low light photography is much better So I think you have made a good choice Best of luck
Fernando Ruiz I would say this is one of the best phones you can get on the market. I might have gotten the google pixel XL had it been available through my carrier, but paying $950 for a 128 GB pixel is not worth it at all.
Very accurate video. I've had an iPhone 7 for a few months now and I still can't get over the how good the taptic engine feels when I'm scrolling or turning a setting on/off, etc. Awesome camera work in the video also, you make it very enjoyable to watch
Every time I have an iPhone in my hands, even a few minutes, i notice stutters, as on 7:22 for example when the screen animates to the right. So i really don't understand why people keep saying that it is that smooth. Another thing I really dont understand is why people are willing to pay this much money for this less hardware. The hardware is good (although it looks very outdated) but there are so many alternatives for less money. I'm convinced most of the iPhone users are perfectly happy with a Android phone costing less than half the money if they are willing to sacrifice the Apple logo.
herman stokbrood its not that. apple users love apple phones for various reasons: 1. the ecosystem 2. the seamlessness between other apple devices (they all work flawlessly together.) 3. app availability 4. smoothness 5. camera 6. design (this ties into the case making industry making more accessories for iphones than other devices) 7. dedicated stores and their convenient access
Um I am typing this on a 5s and it runs smooth as butter. So I disagree with the OP. Though I do have to say I miss the customization of android. But at the same time iOS seems to age better vs android.
muhammad raheem yeah me too! My only problem with the camera is the macro focus could be a tiny bit better, but even so it's the best camera on a phone that I've ever seen
Jamie Mills got mine about a month and a half ago and I’m loving it so far. I had a galaxy s6 edge for the longest and hated it. Definitely an Apple fan now
adam jones There were just a lot of things that went wrong with my phone when I had the s6. Like when I first got it I loved it bc it was the first smartphone I had. But after about 3 months it started lagging but it wasn’t that bad but the lag only got worse to the point where sometimes it would take about 5 seconds to even respond to me trying to open an app. Another inconvenience I had was the battery life which was atrocious. I could take my phone off the charger at 100% in the morning and take a shower and get ready and it would be on 70% by the time I left the house. I eventually got my iPhone bc I got tired of the s6 bc it just stopped responding to a usb chord and would barely charge. I guess I might’ve had a bad phone of the batch bc I’ve seen people love their galaxys but I couldn’t stand mine
@@SM-ng4hk do you reckon it's worth it? Thinking of getting an iPhone mainly to use an Apple watch but I'm not sure whether the newer ones are worth the cost.
Deaths' Apprentice Build/design is a somewhat objective point with me and Apple's current design aesthetic. Yes, the iPhone 7 is well made, but that design is tired af! 💯
The Last Trap God i can see where you're coming from. but the iphone design is similar to how Porche does their 911 turbos. just slight changes each year
I hate to say this video is pointless... but there really aren't very many people out there "on the fence" about buying the next iPhone. As soon as the newest one comes out, everyone who owns the old one automatically upgrades without second thought. And as for the Android users... well... we're not stupid, so it's not like we're gonna wake up one day with half our brain gone and decide we want Apple all of a sudden.

Comfy Couch Gaming Well, maybe I lost half of my brain. I had Android from the very first one (with the ejectable keyboard) over the first Galaxy S, followed by Nexuses 4, 5 and 6 and then I've had enough. There were constantly some issues with each of the devices and the last drop was the totally unreliable camera on the Nexus 6 (it took great photos, if it started on time or at all). Now I bought the 7 plus and although certain features from the Android are unavailable, I'm very happy with this decision. Because the phone works and doesn't lag. Plus I'll get newest system for the next 3 years at least.
Looks like I lost the other half of my brain. I'm getting sick of Android. I just got myself the OnePlus 3T and I think this is going to be my last Android phone (Not saying the OP3T is bad). I want to try iOS. Most of the people commenting here probably never used an iPhone, especially Galaxy users. Also it's funny to see iSheeps hating because they can't use Android properly, can't blame them, honestly.
MiGujack3 I have no problem with iOS, it's clean, functional, and efficient. My issue is with Apple's constant use of proprietary hardware. Literally every other company is making the push for USB type C and Apple is just trying to milk their loyal customers by limiting their tech to themselves.
dude you pay 100% price for an apple iphone which is almost 70% of its software only and 30% about material and hardware and stuff like that thats the reason behind the iphone and every customer in the market is not enthusiast they are only 30% that are enthusiast and things about the different to move on remaining 70% just simply want an iphone which they out from the pocket people see and said yeah thats buddy have an iphone
No phone is as smooth and as one to one responsive to the touch of your finger as a fresh iPhone. Even MKBHD is impressed how smooth and responsive the iPhone is. Only the Pixel and 3T are close but still won't match it. Lol
Brando Great choice, I also have the S7 Edge and I absolutely love it. If you're not entirely desperate, that is if your Note 5 still works fairly well, I'd at least wait to see what the S8 has to offer. Worst case scenario is you don't like it and you get the S7 Edge, and best case scenario is you like the S8 and are glad you waited. Either way, the S7 could probably drop in price a tiny bit with the release of the S8.
I'm rocking OP3T. Fastest and smoothest android phone ever. But I tend to agree with mkbhd, iPhone is the king in that department. But having that said, OP3T is the phone of the year. By far!
Awais Baig I think a lot of it would depend on what type of deals you could find on each. I have used the galaxy phones before as well as my current iPhone so I have an idea of both. For me, I tend to like the software experience of iOS more than that of Android plus Samsung skins. It seems to be a smoother experience with iPhone and iOS. Plus I feel there are better apps with the App Store vs Android apps. Both should be very capable but if I were to pick, I’d pick iPhone.
Awais Baig have you used mainly Android in the past? The only phones I’ve ever had completely die on me were galaxy phones. Those were many years ago so they are probably better now. Plus I got the exploding Note so I decided to give Apple a try haha
@@dericsanchez4081 I am currently using a mid range Samsung J series phone before that I was using iPhone 5 which was my first phone btw i am currently 15
jake m Every phone I've had for the past 4 years has passed those water tests. Water resistance has been a thing for a looong time, but was just not heavily advertised, and most don't get official certification.
Juha Koski that's because they won't replace your device if you get water damage, like everyone else, and they'd rather say that they're "splash and water resistant", they're actually rated IP67 and can be held under 1 meter of water for 30 minutes, which is pretty impressive , but then stupid people will fuck their phones up after thinking it's a good idea to use them as underwater cameras and trust me, THEY WILL bitch about Apple not taking responsibility for water damage, or they'll accuse them of lying about them being waterproof, which they aren't.
It's 1st Oct 2024, and I am still using 7 Plus Jet Black since 7th April 2017. Planning to now get 16 Pro Max. Genuinely, no complaints in the last 7.5 years except battery and dust collecting in the speaker grill causing sound reduction.
literally what special features does an android phone have in comparison with iphone? I use Nexus for work, and iphone for afterwork, I just don't see any major differences in terms of functions, and Nexus has been the best android phone until the pixel in my and many others' opinions.
LethalPhatGuy I own a galaxy s6edge+. And I will say wireless charging is convenient to have. But do I use it? No. The reason being I like to charge my phone and use it at the same time. Second of all what is it with companies and trying to get rid of the headphone jack. To that I say HELL NO. Why you gonna make people by all these dongles. Same thing for the MacBook pro. I mean it's ridiculous. Ok you can have USB c but I need a SD card reader, hdmi, regular USB. cause all my electronics don't use USB C. Like it's stupid. why would I throw out my camera or whatever just because it doesn't have USB C. and I don't want to keep buying dongles. Like for real companies need to stop with this Bullshit.
thecool24681 uh there is a hub for MacBook less than 40$ come with 2 USB 3.1 sd card, micro sd and USB c. And there a new one I made with hdmi. That all I need.
Raveen Bikha Exactly my point. They're making people spend even more money. How is this moving technology forward. By turing your laptop into a fucking spiderweb. Like for fucks sake apple no one gives a shit that it's 2 mm thinner. Like for real.
Personally I'm sticking with my SE. The Iphone 8 will have an amoled display supplied from Samsung so the screen will be pretty special, rumours of wireless charging too all complete with ios. Perfect iphone for me
Me too! i've been an android user since 2010 and i'm just tired of it. the updates are slow, the phones are still laggier than iphones despite them being more powerful, it's more fluid. better OS set up, i'm personally not a fan of having my apps inn a separate place
Thank you. I'm an apple user and I love samsung and android. I think they're all great phones but I just prefer apple. But when I see in the comments all these android fanboy cunts it makes me start to dislike the brand. Let me buy the phone I want to. I like how you're not one of those android diehard fans and respect the opinions of others.
I don‘t know. I actually own an iPhone 8 and I came from the 6. I expected a really tuff starting time because of the lack of the headphone jack. But honestly, it really hasn‘t bothered me. I don‘t know how good the speakers on the 7 were, but the speakers on the 8 are incredible, so when I‘m home, I just listen to music over the speakers, or just use the included headphones with lightning port, and i barely have to charge it. At the end of the day I‘m often at 20%. But that‘s for the 8 of course. Don‘t know how it was on the 7 :)
You mentioned how good the taptic engine feels, This is one of the reasons I like the macbook pro so much. The clickyness of the trackpad just feels really good.
I'm on an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB now and it's a great phone. It was weird not having an actual home button but I'm used to it. I was using the regular 6 16GB before and moving up to the screen took some time to adjust. I like how the phone is faster and I definitely think the Wifi and cellular chips are faster. Picture quality is a noticeable improvement from before. I'm still not used to 3D tough. That waterproof thing is cool. Yea. They're definitely going for all wireless. All they need is wireless charging like Samsung. I only wish that by removing the 3.5mm audio port they would finally let you use memory cards.
Except for the batter life, I love the 7 and as I’m about to get an XS max around next week and am super hyped about that, I’m probably remember my iPhone 7 as my personal favorite. Designwise, I think this is the best looking iPhone ever
Looking back now in 2024 I can tell that Apple’s courage on ditching the headphone jack was bold and has paid off real good, also the way they changed the game with a two cameras, or more specifically with more than one camera which now is the normal and standard everywhere.
yavuz turk The Google Pixel is so much better than the iphone in every single way: •The pictures and videos are better; It does make more pleasing photos with great colors, better stabilization, and better dynamic range. It's the best ever rated smartphone camera by dxo mark, and it really does take some stellar looking photos thanks to the snappy hdr+ processing. •The AI is better with Google Assistant, often answering questions two to three times faster than Siri. It also sounds more natural, can hold a conversation, has a better personality imo, and even understands context. It understands what you say better, and it also answers questions better. •The android os is better and more intuitive, with more features and functionality. To be honest, I find pure stock android simpler than ios, but I guess it just depends on what you are used to, and its more customizable, enough said. I can make my phone look like how I want it look, not like how a company thinks my phone should look. I don't know about you, but I actually like being able to see my home wallpaper. The static rows of icons don't get in the way and block faces of people on pictures, like on ios. I even have the ability to play my old nes and gameboy games with ease whenever i want. I can download songs for free on my phone whenever i want. Also, you can find a lot of apps on the play store for free, that cost money on the app store. There's even entire categories of apps that the app store will never have. There's just so much more freedom with android in general. •It's just as secure as ios, and it gets updated very often as soon as the updates come out. •And the reception is better as well; You'll have more bars of an LTE connection in more areas. •There's 24/7 support built into the phone, easily found in the settings with a swipe to the right, where you can chat with a Googler to help you. •It's very fast and snappy with absolutely no lag, even opening most everyday apps faster than the iphone. Its actually the smoothest device I have ever used, and has animations that are closer to 60 fps than any other phones on the market. Even the iphone 7 lags occasionally. The pixel doesnt. Google nailed it with the combination of hardware and software. •There's no camera bump. •There's app shortcuts, that can be made into individual app icons. •There's a headphone jack. •There's fast charging. •It uses USB type C. •There's multiple accounts for your phone so that you can switch between different users. There's a guest mode too, to keep your personal info safe if you give someone else your phone. After you switch back to your account, anything the guest did will be deleted. •There's a google wallpapers app with cool moving landscape wallpapers built into the phone. And other amazing wallpaper categories. •It has better battery life. (amazing) •It has a higher resolution, more efficient amoled display, with deeper blacks and bolder colors. •It has a better screen to bezel size ratio. •There's Google Daydream for virtual reality. •There's free unlimited storage for photos and videos at original quality on google photos. •The phone stands out, where most people would either have an iphone or a Galaxy. People would be intrigued by what phone you have. And it looks and feels much better in person, than in video. Pictures and videos of the Pixel just doesn't serve the phone justice. •And if you truly think the phone is ugly, then slapping a D brand skin on it will make it look pretty dope. Especially the white marble skin on the white pixel. •And also, you can expect a lot more features to come next year on the pixel 2. •Plus, from what numerous reviewers have been saying, the user experience on the pixel is amazing and smooth, but it's hard to explain, and you have to actually use the phone to understand.
Abood Abood yes but it's useless when your battery is dying and you can't charge it. I love Apple and I love iOS but after 6 great years I switched to a Galaxy S7 because of the missing headphone jack.
The YoPancake Show Thank you . Ur smart. If people could afford And iphone 7 then they could afford some bluetooth headphones and stop bitching about the headphone jack
This is my first iPhone. I switched from android to see what the talk was all about. Plus after having two Samsung notes In a row, I was ready for a change. I like it so far along with the beats x. Thanks for sharing.
Ariq Fauzan this is another android fanboy agreeing with you. Man I gotta say... With each new iPhone on the market, I am inclined more towards the apple's user interface. add in to that a stunning camera, hassle free after sales service and ios doesn't slow down with time. It's as good as getting a health insurance. Just if they could price it more aggressively, I would have washed apple's feet and drink the same water I washed their feet with.
Let me get this straight: there are 2 kinds of iOS users! 1. People who don't give a fuck about tech and just want a fast mainstream smartphone. 2. People who actually DO give a fuck about tech, people who follow tech forums and Android development, people who love tech design and customization. Why do they choose iOS above Android? Because they like the clean, trustable, fast, little details of iOS. When you choose to buy an iPhone, it doesn't automaticaly mean that you aren't aware of the fact that there are phones with better screens or developer options, we already know that. We just PREFER iOS because we LIKE it more. THAT'S IT. We already fucking know about your cute Galaxy S7 or OnePlus 3T wich may have a fucking 8K screen, or 8GB of RAM, we just don't GIVE a FUCK!
Recently got a 7 ( out work requires IOS for proprietary apps ) and it's pretty decent. I just can't handle a 720p ( excluding the plus ) display in 2017.
paul gordon A higher resolution wouldn’t make a difference. That’s why it’s the same, the human eye can’t notice more pixels that there’re on the 7! That’s why it’s called a Retina display!
your videos have always given the best and honest insight. i really want the i phone 7 plus and im still saving up for it. keep it up and never stop ... greetings from a Kenyan fan in Kenya .
I just picked up a 256gb iPhone 7 for $420 with a minor scratch and a 32gb iPhone 7 for $460 on craigslist. No taxes because they were private party purchase. The 32gb was a refurbished phone still in the plastic from AT&T. 2 for 1 hellyea. Feels pretty good since I paid $420 for my new Nexus 5X last year and the iPhone 7 is a much more capable phone than the Nexus 5X.
Just holding iPhone 7 with iOS 15.8 I have main phone iPhone 12 but found the 7 and I’m going back to remember when times were simpler. No useless side camera button
Mark Watson I prefered my 6S 1. because of its headphone jack firstly. I have long group calls often with headphones in while at my desk. and now i can't participate when i'm on low battery because i need to charge and i cant do both at once unless i use speaker phone which drastically decreses call quality. 2. the space grey colour of the 6S hid scuffs and scratches MUCH better than the black iphone. I don't use a case, and i'm not gentle so my phone takes a beating, and in a month my brand new iphone 7 was looking much more worn than my year old 6S simply because of the colour.
Mark Watson The waterproofing is convenient on the 7. But i have dropped my 6S in water multiple times and it has never had a problem. but having a waterproof rating is always good. I also can notice a small increase in camera quality, however the difference is not that noticeable.
SuperSix4 you could but it would be hard to do anything because of the water splashing on it which will cause the screen to react in weird ways I'm guess because the touchscreen reacts to the water the same way as your finger

And the only thing i can say is WOW
This is the by far most amazing phone I've ever had and seen.
And the issue with the headphone jack is no issue for me, i got bluetooth headphones (Sony MDR-1000X)
remember when it comes to iphones you really need to use them properly to get the feel of how good they truly are instead of reading specs
Do revert
Cheers
(I kept my phone with wifi on throughout the night with only a 3% drop over 9 hours, amazing)
If battery saver was turned on, i'd say it will be a 1~2% drop in battery in 9 hours during sleep, although I haven't tried it before

After switching to the iPhone 7 just to give it a try to see what I'm bashing, it turns out it's actually far better than what I was expecting. I don't see myself switching back to Android in the foreseeable future.

Andre N You know, people on android don't care about Android Auto because they actually can't afford a car OR they're too young to get one.
Andre N android is better now. galaxy s3 sucked. s7 is boss
Lars Hoeijmans it is better but far from IOS refinement

iPhone 7: no microSD slot, no front-facing speakers, no headphone jack, crappy low-res 750p LCD screen, iOS is full of bugs.
What a piece of junk! No wonder Android has 88% market share and growing every day.
Edit: iPhone 7 is also missing fast charging. What a pos.
no phones have a sd slot,it actually has front facing speakers dumbass, most phones wont have it in a year or two plus you get an adapter with it so you can use your headphones, this has been awarded as the best lcd screen ever made by displaymate, thats android lol
android has more market share since most of the world cant afford iphones
out of top tier smartphones which are 650 usd and above
apple has 78.6 percent of the market share
iOS is full bugs?
Apple removes headphone jack: "(Samsung fanboys) oh apple is crap!"
Samsung removes headphone jack: "(Samsung fanboys) oh Samsung is so innovative!"

As an Android user, I gotta give credit where credit is due. These are things I like on the iPhone I wish many Android phones can get:
1.Continuous smoothness: Most Android phones get considerably slower after a year or 2 (My Nexus 6 just got super fast again but after a custom ROM install).
Yeah, have to agree, there's several phones with better cameras than the iphone. It's very good, but not the best.
bro i think u didnt get mkbhd . at 4:50 he admits iphone being the best camera
Still 4 years later watching this on my iPhone 7 and I see absolutely no reason to upgrade it at all. It’s great.

Apple hardware is way faster than in any Android phone. You're an idiot.
herman stokbrood its not that. apple users love apple phones for various reasons:
1. the ecosystem
2. the seamlessness between other apple devices (they all work flawlessly together.)
3. app availability
4. smoothness
5. camera
6. design (this ties into the case making industry making more accessories for iphones than other devices)
7. dedicated stores and their convenient access
Um I am typing this on a 5s and it runs smooth as butter. So I disagree with the OP. Though I do have to say I miss the customization of android. But at the same time iOS seems to age better vs android.
herman stokbrood that "stutter" was actually pressing the home button on the home screen, which returns you to your fist page of apps.
No One Yes, but caused a stutter in the animation.

adam jones There were just a lot of things that went wrong with my phone when I had the s6. Watching this in 2022 with my iPhone 7. I can finally say it’s time to upgrade
Lol I had my iPhone 7 for 5 years as well.
Comfy Couch Gaming 50 thousand people a day don't agree with you
Looks like I lost the other half of my brain.

On Apples webpage they actually say it's "splash and water resistant" and not waterproof.
Juha Koski yeah but look up a water test on RUclips. Even the 6S was very very waterproof
jake m Every phone I've had for the past 4 years has passed those water tests.

I'm making the switch to iPhone in November. Certain things from Android I'm getting sick of!
ECDT1089 there's many a new phone on September
Me too! i've been an android user since 2010 and i'm just tired of it. the updates are slow, the phones are still laggier than iphones despite them being more powerful, it's more fluid. better OS set up, i'm personally not a fan of having my apps inn a separate place
Austhetic I made the switch last month. Couldn't wait til November.
Fishyaj XD is it good?
ECDT1089 I wanted the s8 but is iphone 7 better?
You have to make it a normal thing to link whatever hoodie you're wearing, in the description.
Why am I watching this? I still can't even afford an iPhone 7.
Bro still?
You make me want to get an iphone 7+ lol
DarkPa1adin you should
Dan ur an idiot
Dan just saying idiots don't know what a good phone is
Dan u open ur eyes
Dan just because you hate apple doesn't mean apple sucks
I've been waiting 4 months for this review.
You forgot to mention the dual speakers! That's the thing I'm appreciating the most everyday atleast
Vishal Gauba ikr, im not an iPhone person, but ive used iphone 7s and other phones with front speakers and they're amazing
Brendan TaterTot They're only slightly better than my old HTC M8, I made the switch to iPhone though to try it out
Brendan TaterTot there are no 7s yet
Charismatic Batman *Sevens*.... not seven *S*
Your reviews are seriously the best.
So casual, honest and true, really down to earth and your shots are beautiful, thank you so much.
Dont hate just buy want you like
BIG1TOWER I agree I have nothing against iPhones I just like Android better
People get scared to buy iPhones because of those cunts
750p in 2017 is a JOKE! 😂😂😂
Rishabh Patel but but it is retina from like 2 meters
Rishabh Patel 720p *
Ry it's actually 750
Herman Mcpootus ã
Dcl6551 that's what I typed!
800 dollars? I'll just wait a year till it's 500
Sully vlogs good idea 💡
More like this year
Same, can't wait until October when I'll pick this up.
Does the price goes down whithin 1year or more ?
yes
Honestly, it's good, but lack of aux kills it for me
Yup I still rock the corded headphones :)
Don‘t know how it was on the 7 :)
use the dongle💁
Didn’t age well did it?
@@blackblood4891 still a clear money grab, but i just don't care now loool
getting recommended 7 years later when iphone 16 is out is a strange
It's my birthday. I'll consider this video my birthday gift 🎁
Megabithero happy Birthday dude
Megabithero happy birthday guy!!!!
Megabithero happy birthday! just came back from one too.
Jason Cayetano Thank You
Amitoj Dhillon Thank You
You mentioned how good the taptic engine feels, This is one of the reasons I like the macbook pro so much. The clickyness of the trackpad just feels really good.
Haptic not Taptic
Here because I’m bout to cop a 7 as my secondary phone😁 Where’s the iPhone 7 gang at?
Marques talking about this phones amazing camera and then talking about the iPhone 13 amazing camera
It’s crazy how you complained about USB-C in 2016. And in 2023, Apple Finally listened to you.
The video was really helpful, thank you
Still a beast in 2020 using iphone 7 plus plays games much smoother than high end android out there
Can’t wait for genshin impact lowest setting 😂
Lol....it's still a beast but no way that it could be better than android flagships lmao...
Except for the batter life, I love the 7 and as I’m about to get an XS max around next week and am super hyped about that, I’m probably remember my iPhone 7 as my personal favorite.
Designwise, I think this is the best looking iPhone ever
Matte Black 7 Plus Squad Hit Like
I have the jet black one
i have the matte black 7 256 gb...not the plus..i liked anyway
jet black
Iphone 7 matte black 128gb over here
I have the normal 7 in matte black.
Looking back now in 2024 I can tell that Apple’s courage on ditching the headphone jack was bold and has paid off real good, also the way they changed the game with a two cameras, or more specifically with more than one camera which now is the normal and standard everywhere.
Google pixel > iPhone
yavuz turk XD
yavuz turk in most ways, absolutely true
But an average user will buy an iphone over an "iphone wannabe" pixel all day lol
yavuz turk The Google Pixel is so much better than the iphone in every single way:
•The pictures and videos are better; It does make more pleasing photos with great colors, better stabilization, and better dynamic range.
(amazing)
•It has a higher resolution, more efficient amoled display, with deeper blacks and bolder colors.
Luis Nava im a mega apple fanboy and i know fully that the pixel is the best android phone. i like apple because of its os. Its super appealing to me.
can't wait to get one of these
Thats crazy... am shocked
4 months later, still no headphone jack.
tokekkk omg there's an adapter in the box that you plug in the phone and put any headphones in it why does no body mention that
tokekkk someone had to remove headphone at one point or another if you want a wireless future
Abood Abood yes but it's useless when your battery is dying and you can't charge it. I love Apple and I love iOS but after 6 great years I switched to a Galaxy S7 because of the missing headphone jack.
The YoPancake Show
Thank you . Ur smart. If people could afford And iphone 7 then they could afford some bluetooth headphones and stop bitching about the headphone jack
if your phone is dying, they the fuck would you be listening to music? its 2017. get bluetooth already, shit.
This is my first iPhone. I switched from android to see what the talk was all about. Plus after having two Samsung notes In a row, I was ready for a change. I like it so far along with the beats x. Thanks for sharing.
I use 3D Touch all day. I use it for quick Shazaming, for opening or quick peek and pop images or links in email, I love it
iphone having best vibration motor is just so true. nothing comes near it. And this is coming from an Android fanboy.
Ariq Fauzan My engine's vibration is better ;-)
And the Samsung s7 edge is one of the sexiest phones ever. Coming from an apple fanboy ;)
my sister's vibrator is even better ;)
Ariq Fauzan
Ariq Fauzan this is another android fanboy agreeing with you. Man I gotta say... With each new iPhone on the market, I am inclined more towards the apple's user interface. add in to that a stunning camera, hassle free after sales service and ios doesn't slow down with time. It's as good as getting a health insurance. Just if they could price it more aggressively, I would have washed apple's feet and drink the same water I washed their feet with.
I got so use to the iPhone 7's button that when I use my iPod's button it seems fake and cheap now :3
We're here with the iPhone 11 Pro and the 12 about to come out and I'm still rocking my iPhone 7
Anyone who really gives a fuck about tech will only buy an iPhone if they need it for testing/research no other reason.
Olaf Wicherink I'm number 1. Any suggestions on what phone?
Beat Hayes did you even read my comment?
Olaf Wicherink YES 👏🏻👏🏻 I dont hate on android, but I love how clean and simple iOS is. I've used both platforms, and I just prefer iOS.
I think the home screen isn't clean at all tbh. cluttered af
BleTrick just spot on mate
@@bletrick3352 except when your playing games trust me. Went from a cheap ass andriod to this and noticed a huge difference between pixels
3:56 Did the notification of Casey rooting for Marques make you smile?
yup
your videos have always given the best and honest insight. i really want the i phone 7 plus and im still saving up for it. keep it up and never stop ... greetings from a Kenyan fan in Kenya .
still have mine jet black/128 gb
Who's watching this in 2022 to know what MKBHD said back then about this phone lol
He still sound the same
The 32 gb cost 870 euros in my country. That is crazy
Gotta love that 15-20% VAT the good ole' government includes!
Haha, nice... even in Norway the regular 7 32gb costs 760 euros.. and we have a 25% VAT. What makes it so much more expensive in your country?
I just picked up a 256gb iPhone 7 for $420 with a minor scratch and a 32gb iPhone 7 for $460 on craigslist. No taxes because they were private party purchase. The 32gb was a refurbished phone still in the plastic from AT&T. 2 for 1 hellyea. Feels pretty good since I paid $420 for my new Nexus 5X last year and the iPhone 7 is a much more capable phone than the Nexus 5X.
Just holding iPhone 7 with iOS 15.8
I have main phone iPhone 12 but found the 7 and I’m going back to remember when times were simpler. No useless side camera button
Marques got a dog finally? 7:09 barking in the background?
Ethan M alt-k I think he wants pedigree LOL
every dog he's put on his snapchat story is the cutest
Ethan M alt-k oh. I don't like snapchat!
Ethan M alt-k it might be an iDog
haha or an Apple Dog, since they've been slowly moving away from the "i"
I'm rocking the 128 Gb 6S and I love it!
exactly what i had, i regret getting the 7
Raoul G really? how come?
Mark Watson nah he just mad he no have headphone jack, the 7 is better than 6s, don't listen to these android retards who hate on whatever apple makes
Mark Watson I prefered my 6S
1. because of its headphone jack firstly.
That's a good honest review.
The video quality and changes in focus are on point and well done. A pleasure to watch!
This is the device that changed EVERYTHING and the phone itself wasn’t that crazy (besides the cameras)
Guys it's water resistant not water proof
Can I take it in the shower safely?
SuperSix4 Yes. No problem getting it soaked up but swimming with it isn’t such a great idea!
SuperSix4 you could but it would be hard to do anything because of the water splashing on it which will cause the screen to react in weird ways I'm guess because the touchscreen reacts to the water the same way as your finger
Note 7 imo looks waaaaaay better and more premium but too bad it exploded. :(
I am switching to the iPhone 7 I a few weeks, I was dreading it but your video has definitely put my mind at ease, thank you! Awesome video
