    Good exercise/warm up , thank you... I also had a tutor who used to start the lesson with exercise by playing randomly on the black keys only , and also in contramotion

    Just found your channel. Love it. Coincidentally, my wife has some Lithuanian heritage and one of my most cherished composers is Godowsky. I'm delighted to find your channel as I am working to improve my touch, evenness, balance, and suppleness. I'm not a concert pianist, but have begun to compose again after a long time away. Thanks for providing your knowledge and art.

    Hello Ugnius. I can’t understand what you are sayin g at 2:40 where it shows a green V at the Ab minor. Please elaborate.

      Hey Mark!
      So you can put a C+ (C Augmented triad) in between the Abmajor/C and Aminor/C

      @@UgniusPianist Thanks Ugnius. I am practicing this routine now with the dim. 7 at the end and will add augmented later. I had seen this routine on Dhdanov. I am just a self training clunker at the piano and have learned to play this exercise slowly (and badly) through B major and am working on F#. Also working on Hannon ex. # 59 after I saw your video about it. Getting better at the 6ths but at the end they jump 3rds and this is still difficult for me. How old were you when the USSR racket was shut down in 1989.

      @UgniusPianist  2 года назад +1

      Hi! Yes, the numbers written in the PDF are for the fingers. Feel free to use different fingerings if you prefer. The finger numbers can be changed based on your hand size.

    I love it but why call it an eleven arpeggio exercise when there are actually twelve arpeggios? :)
    (3 major, 3 minor, 4 dominant7, 1 augmented and 1 diminished)

    • @UgniusPianist
      @UgniusPianist  3 месяца назад

      So the original version (the Russin School version) is 11 arpeggios, but I added an extra one just in case haha!
      I didn't want to confuse people with the different versions and decided to name 11Arpeggios (+1)
