Brilliant. I think the way you do your hill videos is just perfect - no music, ambient sounds, short clips with a sense of the route, no commentary. Sat in front of my screen, it's as close as I can imagine to actually being there. So thanks, and keep 'em comin'...
Hi, thanks for watching, glad you are enjoying them. I try to keep the videos simple, with just the sights and sounds of nature in first person view. It really helps with the memories of being there. Cheers.
Hi Andy, What a super day you had. I remember doing these two from the Ling Hut and them being very rough hills, a bit of a pain to eventually get to the top but well worth the effort for the views. Well done. cheers, Charlie
Hi Charlie, yeah they were rough going in places. Really liked Sgurr Dubh with its multitude of lochans and that big ravine, and a cracking view down the valley between the giants. Cheers.
Magnificent mate a different perspective in terms of views of the mountains in that area especially Beinn Liath mor and Glen Torridon a real wilderness superb
Fine set of hills between Glen Caron and Glen torridon. Wonderful view of the giants on the north side of Glen torridon. Used to be my playground when we had a house at Strathcarron. Thanks for some lovely memories Andy.
Thanks John. It's nice to get up the Corbetts in the area, and see the Munros from other viewpoints. Not much of a path after the first section, but fairly straightforward. Cheers.
Just keep these excellent videos coming, Andy. They are all greatly appreciated. :-) My partner and I also climbed these two back in 2003, after which we re-named them 'The Corbetts from Hell' -- not just because of the rough ground ascending them or descending from them, but the extremely rough ground and the difficulty navigating a way between the two Corbetts themselves. You certainly know you've been for a walk in the hills after having climbed these two!
Aye, they were very rough under foot. Wouldn't fancy navigating them in the clag. So many lochans though on that second one, very pretty looking down on them from above. Thanks for watching Rosa.
Great video Andy, what a landscape! Really enjoyed the silent hike and thought your placement and use of the timelapse was spot on. New subscriber, thanks for the subscribe also. Looking forward to more of your videos. Safe walking, Duncan.
Fantastic footage and a big plus for my route planning being able to see the lie of the land as it is. I'm staying at The Ling Hut later this year and have these two peaks on my to do list.
Thanks for watching. You could probably descend the hill in the gorge, but it would be rough going. And there were a few places where it drops steeply, and would require scrambling or climbing down. Cheers.

Absolutely, I'm glad I got around to doing these. Cheers.
Exceptional footage, Andy. Thanks!
Thanks Mike.

Glad you enjoyed it Michal. Cheers.
This looks so unique and simply enchanting, great work my friend!
Thanks Ervin.
Can only echo the last two comments as they sum up this hike perfectly. Maybe I can add the word inspirational as this is now on my wish list.

Hi Duncan, thanks for watching. Torridon never disappoints. One of my favourite hiking areas besides Skye. Cheers.

Hi, I'm sure you will enjoy them. Quite rough going in places but worth it, especially staying so close to them at Ling Hut. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing Andy.
Super day.
Cheers Tam.

@@andy-astro stunning places you go to
Great trip, well done! 😲😍. I love the gorge at the descent. Do you know if it is possible to climb down inside of it?
