this is not underrated... this is a very poor performance.... technically the jazz here is sooooooo lazy and diluted... there is very little technique... THIS is nothing more than a bad jazz pianist using pretention and egoistical self-image to try and appear cool, sophisticated and admirable... the REAL musicians out there would completely agree with me.
He's my favorite singer of all time. He always manages to leave me speechless.

Oh man. I was listening to a different song by Jamie Cullum while doing dishes. I didn't have time to dry my hands & search for the next song of his before this song came on. I DESPISE the original version of this song so when it came on I was bracing myself. This rendition is emotional and raw. I'm IN LOVE with it. Leave it to Jamie Cullum to completely change my mind and leave me awe struck. I can't stop listening to this song on repeat. Wow wow wow!

that's the brilliance of Jamie....he hears something and gives us something DIFFERENT with everything he does...and his ive performance has to be in the top 5 shows I've ever seen....he does it all...before the show, the stage manager was freaking out because no one knew this guy (in Palm springs, CA)...'where is he!".."right here love"....he was on stage with the crew setting up the equipment in a t-shirt...one of the guys.....that alone makes me love him....he's a god.

You can say that about any number of years. People come, people go, but their music and their art lives on. I don't know any world-renowned artists, only local ones, and one thing I've noticed about all of them is, all of them have hoped for a better future, a better mankind. Their art remains, from ancient times up through the present day. Rather than getting depressed over the passing of an individual person, I've found the best way to honor them is, how can you live your life to better not only those around you, but future generations? Every single artist I have known, and also those who I have not, have wanted to simply be remembered. We have so many people in this world, for every person to be remembered through the ages, there are a million more behind them that will be completely forgotten. All rally behind an ideal, that humans can transcend their limitations. The single best way to remember....carry the torch.
