Nice review man, glad they brought the strap back, & like I've said anything would be an improvement from the 6. I agree w/ you on it not really mattering when trying to prevent ankle sprains, I've had to wear a wrap on my ankle since freshman year of high school no matter what the kick. Nice editing as well Buckets - SALUTE
Word, tape and/or ankle braces are the only real way to prevent sprains and sometimes even that doesn't work. Thanks for watching bro. Salute.

Using an elite sock would improve the situation on the heel because it's a bit bulkier ???
I would go a half size down. I am in between a 10.5 and 11, and got an 11, which seem to be slightly roomy leaving it harder to execute cuts and move laterally... Just my experience

I have these and feel like I still I need to break them in more. Also I'm shocked that dude was outside hooping in those Bel-Air XX8 SEs; the durability of the forefoot zoom bags sucks.
Yeah, there is a little break in time but not too bad.

Should I get the KD7's or the Hyperdunk 2014's? I have a prettty wide foot and I was able to try on hyperdunks and they fit nicely. With the KD7's I don't know who they will fit or feel like in general.
Personally, i haven't tried the kd 7 but i think the mesh will form to your foot
I have a pair of them and , after using them for 2-3 hours a day, only indoors , the lining got ripped off in some parts and I can now see the plastic inside.not a big disadvantage but it looks a bit bad

I mean the dark blue line on the top of the shoe, right where the ankle is
I had to go up a size on these but if I was playing in them I woulda stuck wit my true sz cuz I feel they'd break in but 1 wear every idk 1-2 month break in is light years away hahaha

There's always gonna be some traction issues on a really dusty floor but these played well on all different types of surfaces.
if there is heel slippage, do you think going down half a size would help?
I don't think so... but you never know.
How snug/narrow do these fit compared to Lebron XIs? Had to stop hooping in my brons because I have wide feet and they hurt my toes a lot after extended playing time.
Not as snug as the Brons, I don't think these will hurt your toes.
I have these and have wide feet and most shoes hurt I recommend these and hyperfuse great shoes and good for wide footers as my self and I have both
Yo man, I play Power Forward for my team, just wondered if these would be a suitable shoe for me? since i weigh a little less than KD overall. Need a new shoe since my Lebron X's are getting pretty beat up and shoddy. But like you said, I'd have to adjust to the low top, since I've only ever played in highs, or mids.
I think these could be a good option for you. It depends though, everybody is different.

They are good for outdoors, the rubber is a bit harder
I played 3-5 days a week for 4 months and they held up fine, it's just the mid foot support piece, two of the ridges fell out but you can just glue them back in
