@@m.j.nicholls yep thanks a lot, l only started listening to them in the last 3 years its great to be able to hear the earlier shows. I like the Uxbridge dictionary one of my favorites.
I, too, thank you for these. I am working remotely in a large international bank on standing settlement instructions. I have the chaps on in the background and occasionally snort at my screen, but apart from that the days pass without the excruciating boredom of before I found them.
Thanks again for doing these. Although the sound quality varies, it doesn’t detract from the humour which is funny no matter how many times you hear it.
@@DaveATKIN He’s definitely real! And he’s still around. I think his day job is/was as a university music lecturer, but he will always be known for ISIHAC.
Mrs Trellis' limerick is the greatest ever written. For foreign language speakers, it looks like this written down: There was a young lady from Slough Who developed a remarkable cough; She wasn't to know It would last until now, Let's hope the poor girl will pull through.
I decided to take a break from Britain for a couple years and live on my tropical island farm for 3 years. I must say I am very disappointed with what has happened while I have been away. I left a country that was ticking along nicely and now everything looks a complete mess. i want you all to take a good in the mirror and act like grown ups.
@@LoneKharnivoreWell who was the Samantha l met at the show, she offered me work on the show, l think it was to take dust off the seven inchers, ot sure but she said l was definitily in for a blow job.
One of the eeriest things I've ever heard is Rob Brydon singing the Jim'll Fix It theme. I can't remember what song it was to (I think I've tried to suppress the memory) but I heard it again recently on one of these uploads and it just sounds so disturbing.
Its still on now, just finished its 81st series, Jack Dee is a fair legacy for Humph, and some of the guests are really into it and very funny. Theres many good comediens about and some of the best are on this show. I do miss the old guys still, but its still going strong.
Thank you for all the work you’ve put into compiling these shows. Much appreciated.
👍

R.I.P - Barry, Willie, Tim and Humph. (As well as Lionel Blair)
Lionel Blairs not dead, he just looks as if he is 😂
Many thanks for making this available.
So glad you show Barry Cryer. Magic.

Miss you Barry
Top radio comedy, one of the very best ever.
Thank you for posting these.
Thank you for all these. Just as funny as when they were first broadcast.

It's sad to reflect that Graeme Garden is the only Living member of the Dream Team. Top quality radio comedy.
I think Colin Sell is still going?
@@johnsurrey7426 is he real? I thought he was another Sven... 😉

the delightful Samantha xxx
She gets better looking every year!
@@vanbc19631963Agreed never ages.
Thats my bird you're talking about, get your own, she's having our love child 😂
1:55:45 23 years ago, Humph was being eerily prescient about the internet! “Soon we won’t need walls in public toilets at all…”

you only noticed the every day wrongness after you left ?
Take a good what in the mirror?
Its like its always been, just people look back with rose tinted glasses, but even with all its faults l wouldn't live anywhere else.
Gosh, Max Boyce was a card
Shame the audio-quality isn't that good on this.
Are the delightful Samantha and swarthy Sven purely fantasies in my own imagination?
Well, yours and everyone else's, but yes.

That censored Rolf Harris medley makes way too much sense given what was unearthed about him.
Worth noting that his repertoire was built around dirty rugby songs cleaned up a bit - Jake The Peg is about a guy with a massive cock.

Clever, witty humour from a past age. Today's comedy is bland and anaemic.
You're not listening to the right comedians.
