Had to build this deck because playing Taunt Warrior was getting me down. Just had a game where I discovered Murmuring Elemental, which triggers battlecry twice and used Skarr for lethal.
I am loving how impactful Skarr has been so far, elemental shaman is always really cool when it exists, and this is easily the best board clear/emergency face damage it’s ever had
God, everyone was saying that Skarr was going to be too weak and needed a buff (like getting rid of the 'chain' aspect) Glad to see them proved wrong and Elemental Shaman doing well!
the issue isnt that it's weak, it's that the deck building restrictions it puts on you are so intense. Every game is just playing elementals and praying your top decks are good
did you know that if you play a howdyfin and follow it up with a sir finley, it will generate you 2 murlo s when your hand empties and you move to draw cards? its strange, dont quite undersrand why it works that way, why not 3 murlocs? anyways.
seems fun, but its vulnerable against rat or patchwerk or other cards that can destroy your elemental combo. i think this deck wont work in ranked very much
It will be good for climbing to diamond/plat, aggro always is, and it's fairly cheap. Would be a great deck for people returning after a break that don't have a ton of dust on hand.
The likelihood of patchwerk or rat hitting a specific 1 of in a deck with 28 minions is so ridiculously low you shouldn't really be entertaining it as a "counter".
Would it be worth running Taelan and ancestral knowledge, and taking out the giants to draw Skarr more consistently? I know that the giants are major payoff cards but Skarr just seems so integral.
imagine being at 16 health and filling your entire board with 5/6 taunts, just for one single card to ream you and make you lose the next turn. Hearthstone so balanced.
The "in a row" effects resetting is definitely not what I was expecting and does make me less enthusiastic about the deck. I thought if you played an elemental on, say, turn 2 and 3, and then 5 and 6, you would have played elementals two times in a row. I guess this is the ambiguity of the English language. It could mean two separate instances of in a row or a continuous row
You mean at 15:44? Because Chump had a 2-turn lethal if the opponent didn't heal after selecting the "6 damage to opponent" Kalimos option. He just had to choose the 6 damage option with Kalimos again in his following turn. With the hunter playing Reno gaining 5 armor it didn't work in the end, but we can't blame Chump for not thinking around a Hunter healing or playing Reno the first days of the expansion hahah
@GettingYeeted It was still the right call, the reno is a single card, you can't play around it, and I don't think there was any indication it was even a reno deck before that moment.
@@MrFox64057 They already played one Hollow Hound, the beast that heals, and it was a deck without duplicates so it couldn't have another one. Even if it did, a Hollow Hound alone would have only healed for 3 and it couldn't kill Kalimos so it would have been lethal anyway. Like @orange_sauce5951 said, playing around Reno there wouldn't have been a good play, more so having the 2-turn lethal.
Deck is so shitty, can't win a single game, all I met in ladder are rogues with ogres, odyn warrior, snake lock and Sif mages, so Sadge about this deck😢

@@frankomancerthat's why Totem Shaman is still the superior aggro deck. Not by that much but still more consistent because of the hero power.

I like playing elementals because I love all the arts and animation of Skarr is just the best. But the winrate I get with this deck is not so good:(

I mean it's balanced in the fact that a board of 5/6s is super powerful so a conditional deal 7 to minions is equally if not less powerful
