In the part where Jenny talks about not knowing anything about teenagers-why tf do adults still think that teens text using numbers and ridiculous abbreviations? NO ONE texts like that!! It’s on page 32. Seriously, I don’t think I’ve ever read a book where the teenagers actually texted like teenagers. How hard is it to ask a teen how they text?! No one talks like that!!! My only other problems with the book were that I found it unrealistic for Asher to forgive Maya so fast and hold her hand when she confessed, when throughout the novel he had a hard time coming to terms with new information; and the idea that Maya just abandoned Lily and ran out. I don’t think she would have done that, even if she was worried about how it looked, and I don’t think she would have just sat back and never said anything about it either.
