27:32 anyone know the inputs for this move with Yoshimitsu? The upward hit lol. I used to know but forget and could never find the inputs for it, even back when I was playing SCV lol!
She's like Maxi. Once you start countering her, playing patiently at range, she can't do much to you, and then you start choking her in close range. A lot of characters can even punish her whiffs from range. And even if not, she basically gives up her turn after every move. Her CE and SC aren't very good, and she doesn't have crazy wallcombos like Yoshimitsu or Siegfried... She's also pretty fair, high risk - high reward. Doesn't have bs moves like Xianghuas 22B, Takis A6, Minas WR B... There are lots of characters with much better stats. Look at Amy, Yoshi, Hilde... Ivy is definetly not up there with them. She's just annoying, mid at best.
@@RaydenLGX if so , why almost everyone has her as a counter match up , talim , maxi asta ,raph , sophitia , cass , voldo ,etc she is te best grappler in the game and also the best zoner , a switch to her a couple of months ago (from maxi and groh) and get to S rank in no time , best lows in the game , best oki , i think people just underated her on purpose xD , compared to other characters its the safest ive ever used
@@hellduck1222 You probably didn't meet good players with anti Ivy strats :D Raph and Sophie are definetly bad MU for Ivy. her being a better grappler than Asta is a joke. Her grabs don't RO, don't wallsplat, don't work against airborne, she doesn't have grabs against crouching and grounded opponents. The only good thing is her SS being unbreakable, but the input doesn't allow her to use it any time she wants. If people can get about 50 dmg from a simple KD, how much dmg do you think her SS should do? If she whiffs it, you lauch her for 70+ dmg. I also consider Mina a better zoner, she's cheaper and more verstile, with better lows, better defense, better CE, SC, okis... What's so good about Ivy's lows and okis? 2A+G? You can step it in all 8 directions. And on wakeup, she needs to reset her combo in order to use it as oki. And it doesn't hit grounded, you can roll forward and lauch her. She risks loosing 60+ hp for 50 dmg. Other lows are fair too. 22K is like -20. SE 4A might be a bit hard to punish, but it's also very hard to land (step 2G beats 90% of her stance options), and it doesn't hit grounded. Ivy is just like Maxi, good noob killer, but once you know how to deal with her, she's mid at best.
@@RaydenLGX ivy lows are very good , 1 is a horizontal full screen , other 2 1 is a full screen grab , the low grab is a guaranteed mix up with lethal hit , ivy has 2 side tech LH that counter nightmare , in soul charge has a not sidestepable break attack that breacks guard after 3 succesful hits (on guard) and can be spammed , his oki is not rollable to the side xD ive tested it , and ivy can mix between far , mid and short distance so a fallen opponent has to guess to roll back or forward , summon suffering is buffable (i dont know if u know the term) i usually do AA and BB while inputing the directional inputs then u just have to press A+G , in my experience ivy is maybe not top 5 but because she is top 6 xD , amy is a joke , the only character that i struggle with is xianghua

Big mistake of incendiate to use Ivy vs Raph. This MU is kinda bad for her. X would be by far the best pick vs Raph.
I haven’t seen Ramon since nlbc, what happened to that tourney
Terrible sometimiento de Raphael jojojo, era hora que Incendiate muerda el polvo
Bro they are playing for their lives they want that money
Not only was $1000 on the line, but it's that EU vs US rivalry. Watch the Twitch VOD to see all the chatter!
I never understood why everyone says that ivy is mid tier xD , almost every character hasa bad matchup against her
