- This is a student-led educational project funded by Creative Partnerships and supervised by Coventry based theatre company Mad Half Hour and film production outfit Short Night Films. Working with students at Rawlins School and Community College in Leicestershire, the project set about adapting and filming selected scenes from John Steinbeck's classic, Nobel Prize-winning novella, 'Of Mice and Men'.
This scene, extracted from Chapter 4 in the book, features the sequence in which Candy and Lennie share the dream with Crooks in his quarters. Soonafter, their exchange is disrupted by Curley's Wife.

i love how curleys wife tells everyone that shes could have been in movies to them but in the book she tells it only to lennie in the barn before she dies, nice acting guys
I can't find the damn 1992 version of this scene!
Just want to comment that I'm a school teacher and I'm teaching this novel and this adaptation is wonderful. I will be showing portions of it. Thanks for posting it!

*SPOILER* George shoots Lennie, tell me your reaction when you saw it, I cried hard.
because it's not the real thing. I'm looking for the 1992 version, and it;s not here.... and i have an exam tomorrow and I'm doing revision. Recreations mean nothing to me at the moment! what is why.
