"I didn't deserve to be happy" (Get confronted for wasting money and begging for more) "I deserve to go to Disneyland and pay to sleep with LA 10's" Dude will say anything to win an argument or look good in the moment.
I dont claim to know or have any of the answers, but as a 46 year old dude who has made my fair share of mistakes, most "middle aged men" come to a point where their mortality (physically and emotionally) and the decisions made that have gotten to that point begin to start staring them in the face. As a veteran who has lost many friends, I often wonder why I am still around, right or wrong. But some advice here Steven, take it or leave it. You MUST stop apologizing to the internet. You MUST get your head right. I understand its an "outlet" for you and you feel RUclips and your followers are all you have, but you MUST focus on the things around you. Friends, family, your dogs etc. Those are the people that when the chips fall will be there for you. Once you feel you get your head right and if you want to continue to be a RUclipsr, you need to change your format completely. Stop with the story telling and advice giving and just stream games, like many other successful RUclipsrs. Play the games, react to whats left of your supporting community and STOP this professing of your soul to RUclips. Its not working anymore dude. You still have time, but its running out.
I think part of what makes this video so weird is the fact that he brings up some very valid criticisms of himself, but they're sandwiched between inauthentic comments about hoping it doesn't go viral, acting sad when he doesn't shed a tear, etc It makes me wonder if Boogie is genuinely capable of self-reflection and identifying flaws within himself, or if he just knows that if he brings up some of the lighter criticisms and take ownership of his lighter mistakes, it'll make him seem genuine to people who don't know about the tomfoolery this guy has always pulled. There are comments he makes like (paraphrasing) "I ruined the body I was given to explore with" where for a second, I genuinely feel bad for the dude, but he's just been so manipulative up to this point, I can't even believe the man is hurting when he tells us he is.
I believe that Boogie is 100% aware of his problems and knows what to do to fix them. However, instead of doing anything to fix these issues, he uses his awareness to TELL people that he's working on them. This is how he's managed to manipulate his audience and form such a strong parasocial bond with the few who remain. He knows by bringing up that he's being more active, trying to lose weight, going to therapy, that he's been abused, that he gets harassed etc that this will incite an emotional reaction from his audience. He knows going to therapy will help him heal, but he probably doesn't go. He knows that if he stay off Twitter and Twitch that majority of his internet drama wouldn't happen, but he refuses to stop. He knows that he eats like s*it but he does it anyway. The worst part is how he keeps people on the hook with that promise of change. I can almost guarantee that this is what roped Dez into the relationship and what ended up keeping her there for so long.
Yes he probably also cries when its about himself and not about other peoples feelings. Thats why he always think he is the victim and always finds excuses.
Damn, he thought this was going to be THE video. It's close, but right off the bat with the silly excuses, like the "imposter syndrome" crap. This just sounds like the typical next day psychedelic emotional, thought provoking mood along with hos usual crap. He's trying so hard to "fix" everything, as if there are a magical combination of words that's he could string together to fix all this, but that's not how it works. He needs to put away the camera for a long while, not worry about what everyone else is thinking, and work on his own life, quietly and non publicly just for starters, then go from there. He and wings both have the same problem of thinking you have to defend every single thing people say, when they need to relax and let it all flow past them and get off the computer for a while, they just keep shining more light on on it all like picking at an infection.
The more I argued with him, the better I came to know his dialectic. First he counted on the stupidity of his adversary, and then, when there was no other way out, he himself simply played stupid. If all this didn't help, he pretended not to understand, or, if challenged, he changed the subject in a hurry, quoted platitudes which, if you accepted them, he immediately related to entirely different matters, and then, if again attacked, gave ground and pretended not to know exactly what you were talking about. Whenever you tried to attack this apostle, your hand closed on a jelly-like slime which divided up and poured through your fingers, but in the next moment collected again. But if you really struck boogie so telling a blow that, observed by the audience, he couldn't help but agree, and if you believed that this had taken you at least one step forward, your amazement was great the next day. Boogie had not the slightest recollection of the day before, he rattled off his same old nonsense as though nothing at all had happened, and, if indignantly challenged, affected amazement; he couldn't remember a thing, except that he had proved the correctness of his assertions the previous day. Sometimes I stood there thunderstruck. I didn't know what to be more amazed at: the agility of his tongue or his virtuosity at lying. Gradually I began to hate him.

If he wants to really help himself he would go to a rehab and do the effort of eating right. So many people have lost the weight and stop the drugs. But yet he can't deal with being uncomfortable not drinking 10 sodas a day
He claimed he'd go to rehab if he reached 400lbs again. He hit 400lbs and then claimed to be broke when called out on it. He's not interested in real change
I’m starting to think his abuse stories are either untrue or completely exaggerated. Because in the 2009 video his mom calls him sorry, which aged very well and if you look at his brother and sister, they actually live normal lives with family of their own and don’t talk to Boogie because of the stories he tells on social media. If the abuse is true, I’m sorry that it happened but this guy is known for pathological lying. I mean I’m only 19 and had to deal with an abusive father for most of my life but he was out of my head a year after I stopped talking to him and I certainly never brought it up so people could feel sorry for me.
exactly, being a victim of abuse is terrible but its up to the individual how they handle themselves afterwards (get the necessary help, forgive those that wronged them, move on to be the best they can be..) which doesn't excuse him from any of the terrible things he has said over the years, the horrible way he treated others, and the pathological lying. cant use abuse as justification for continuing to pass it on others.
Apparently the abuse only happened when his siblings left home, but other times he says that it happened when they were there. Yeah Boogie probably had a bad mother, big woop. As you mentioned, his siblings didn't let it stop them from either achieving great things or starting a family.
@@logger22 Yeah I'd say his sister sounds like the real victim if we're to believe his stories. He claims that the attention turned to him after his brother and sister up and left
This dude's youtube channel is genuinely a treasure as an opportunity to study a narcissistic emotional vampire from a safe distance. I actually think a lot of what he's saying here is the truth and that he genuinely means it, but even when he's telling the truth about himself, he can't help narrativizing it to serve his chief goal in life, which is to get people to pity him so they'll give him free shit. It's as natural for him as breathing.
Aldous Huxley mentions the effect of poor diet on mental health in "The Doors of Perception" before he even describes his LSD experience. But go on about your enlightenment, Boogie.
I’m not gonna feel bad for a guy that can’t help himself. Because that’s his major flaw. He can change, he just isn’t wanting too. And he’s someone who’s practically MIDDLE AGED. There are 17 year olds (literally not even legal adults yet) who’ve changed FASTER as people than Boogie could EVER dream of doing in his entire lifetime. Pathetic. It’s sad, yet almost hilarious at the same time.
This dude had an actual psychedelic experience a genuine one at that as well and he’s STILL stuck in his ego, the fact that he wanted to have a trip that was nice and fun instead of punishing and trivial tells me everything about him as a person. He clearly doesn’t want to face the reality of his own creation even when that reality is taken away from him. He’s truly lost and no amount of psilocybin is gonna change that. This is what happens when narcissists take high dosage psychedelics. It perpetuates his true nature forward. He genuinely has narcissistic personality disorder.
A lot of people on here really have never tried psychedelics before. Mushrooms can make even the most egotistical person feel something again. Especially a bad trip. Now, will it last no, and is he still a piece of shit, yes, but mushrooms will give you that glimmer of actual self-reflection for a few days after the trip.
@@sneaky-soft7848 it will man even for a person like Boogie but the thing is it does not last. It’s like trying to hold sand…it just slowly slips away with time.
Almost feels like you can watch it happening in real time as the camera rolls. Start of video: "I use my helpless victim persona as a defense mechanism" End of video: "I can't change my ways because my RUclips channel is helping people" Not saying it's really wearing off over the course of the video, but if you stuck the camera in his face two minutes after he came down, I feel like there would be less of his rationalizations creeping back in.
It’s recommended to take them when you’re in a good head space so I’m not surprised that this was the result of his second time when the cameras weren’t rolling and he couldn’t play it up he just had to sit there in his own mind. But the fact that all these people have told him what he needs to do and still says “I have no idea what to do” speaks volumes
@@bailysawyer804 You are not wrong about that at all my dude, but it sounds like you’ve tripped so you know this too: the mushrooms have a way of you beginning to start telling YOURSELF what needs to be done. People can tell you what to do all they want, but hell, just, well let’s be honest, just look at Boogie lol and we can see that other’s telling you what to do can literally have ZERO impact. But once you start telling yourself what to do…now that can be powerful but you still have to want it and I can’t say it enough: the mushrooms won’t last and all those “self revelations” are still up to you, but they can help you start.

I actually think a lot of what he's saying here is the truth and that he genuinely means it, but even when he's telling the truth about himself, he can't help narrativizing it to serve his chief goal in life, which is to get people to pity him so they'll give him free shit. It's as natural for him as breathing.
I could watch boogie pop under a steamroller and not feel a flicker of emotion.
I am jerry smith from rick and morty, or possibly, bojack horseman. Maybe a combination of both…
Reminds me of that south park where cartman is singing that song that goes, " Erice we don't want you to die, Eric!"
Aldous Huxley mentions the effect of poor diet on mental health in "The Doors of Perception" before he even describes his LSD experience. But go on about your enlightenment, Boogie.
It's always quick fixes with Boogie. Weight loss surgeries, drugs, sugar babies and clickbait.
I couldn't imagine just doing shit so I have stuff to film. rinse and repeat
Dude was thinner in this video than in the documentary
I reckon Boogie puts filters on when he films himself. He looks massive during Mike's second visit in the documentary
Remember this is the guy who said he won’t have kids because he thinks he would molest them. His hard drive needs seized.
the crypto scam ruined him for good now good riddance

"I look awful, don't' it?"
YOU ALWAYS DO BOOGIE
Also wingsofredemptions cry >>>>>>>>>>>>> boogie2988a cry
At least wings is funny, boogie is just embarrassing and boring.
His corniness, this bottomless pit of corn, is boundless.
Comparing yourself to bojack horseman shows no self awareness wtf😂
A lot of people on here really have never tried psychedelics before. Mushrooms can make even the most egotistical person feel something again. Especially a bad trip. Now, will it last no, and is he still a piece of shit, yes, but mushrooms will give you that glimmer of actual self-reflection for a few days after the trip.
Never tried the stuff myself, but that's what that's what people who have been there tell me.
@@sneaky-soft7848 it will man even for a person like Boogie but the thing is it does not last. It’s like trying to hold sand…it just slowly slips away with time.
Almost feels like you can watch it happening in real time as the camera rolls. Start of video: "I use my helpless victim persona as a defense mechanism" End of video: "I can't change my ways because my RUclips channel is helping people"
Not saying it's really wearing off over the course of the video, but if you stuck the camera in his face two minutes after he came down, I feel like there would be less of his rationalizations creeping back in.
This dude is damn near 50 with friends who seem to barely give af about him ( seeing from the documentary ) , A girlfriend that is half his age that will probably move on to another dude once he dies, a reputation that has been destroyed, and not even any kids to continue his bloodline. It's so over for this dude
His friends def don't care. They sit there spouting "you never had to buy us food" while they willingly partake in it and never offer anything in return. His friends gas light him too lmao
All that crying and no tears. Yeah he's genuine.
We've all this heared this before. This is staying on the staying on the shelf and being passed by.
he really has put a lot of weight back on since then.
I think Boogie uses filters during his recorded stuff. You can see how much weight he's gained during Mike Clum's second visit to see Boogie during the documentary. He looks insanely large. According to Boogie, he's the same weight now than he was 2 years ago (400lbs)
I look awful don't I? Funny because he actually looks less fat there 😂😂
Look at him. Hes crying like a little beeach
you mean he fake his tires wha wha
@@LORDSofCHAOS333 Yup. It is fake tears
I feel like he had a sad movie playing on one of his monitors in order to start letting out those crocodile tears out
Someone cutting onions off screen
I literally don’t see any tears
There was none to see
he is not capable of crying, I have never seen him once shed any real tears
This the same cry I gave when my parents found my report card
Boogie says he wants to stay in youtube to help others... But he needs to help himself FIRST before helping anyone else lol. He's the number one person that needs to be helped. He needs to take a break from internet and look after his own mental health FIRST!
This applies more NOW than when this vid was first recorded. He's fallen into a way bigger pit hole.
He is so scared of dying. It’s interesting to watch.
He was much skinnier here than he is today.
This wasn't even that long ago. April last year.
@@SeethinSteven Insane!
Boogie is so disgusting, I don't even know where to begin.
Boogie needs to be banned from RUclips like Kaufman was kicked off TV. Since he claims to be like Kaufman.
And this was before the Crypto scam.
Literally not one tear... it's horrible acting, I'm sure that has to be why he took it down one he came down himself from trippin
Yeah it's not uncommon for Boogie to delete tweets and videos which make him look bad
"The Yotube Algorithm deleted this video!"-Boogie
literally not a single tear lmao
It’s hard to think ten plus years ago this man used to be the most genuine person on the internet
@@RickyDickyDoDah557 Genuine? This guy put up a "nice guy" front for over a decade even though he's always been an angry, bitter, nasty, sleazy person under the exterior. Boogie2988 was his ultimate character who fooled everyone. I've got screenshots of awful stuff he's said and done from back in the early 2000s.
