We tackled assembling the bike as a family project. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzg0clhbtRf2gGxPkVETFKJJKGqdsorQu The package is heavy, but I have 2 teen boys that were able to move it. The written instructions were great- we didn't need to watch the videos, but it was good knowing that the option was there if we needed it. After we were able to get it set up, the boys each rode 3 miles and I rode 8 and the bike stayed quiet. The display is easy to reset, and you can put it on whichever setting you are using (time, distance, calories, etc). I will say that my butt is a little sore from the seat, but that could be because I haven't rode in a while. While it is comfortable for me, it was not comfortable with the seat position for my friend (could not move the seat back far enough and he slightly looked like a kid riding a tricycle that he had outgrown). He also said that the seat hurt his manly parts. We are going to look for a different seat that will be compatible with this bike for him.I did purchase the Wahoo Cadence sensor and strapped it to the crank of one of the pedals. This will sync with my Apple Watch, iPhone and will import data in to my Health app. Wahoo does have other sensors available other than cadence. I can also keep either my phone or my iPad on the display and they both feel pretty secure.

Hey there, I came across your post about the best exercise bikes for 2023 and I'm loving your review of the Echo bike. I used to use traditional exercise bikes for my daily workout routine, but after discovering freebeat Lit Bike, I can't go back! The fusion of rhythm and music into the workout is simply remarkable. It keeps me engaged and motivated throughout my session. The aesthetics of the Lit Bike are also top-notch, enhancing the overall ambiance of my home gym. I couldn't have asked for a better fitness partner. Thank you for sharing your experience, and I hope you get to try freebeat Lit Bike soon!
Hey there, fellow fitness enthusiast! I stumbled upon your video "The Best Exercise Bikes for 2023! I know its a bit outside the realm of these home bikes, but I much prefer to use my road bike setup on a stationary trainer in the garage than any exercise bike. Paying for a service like zwift is comparable to the peloton style subscriptions in cost and keeps the inside riding very engaging. Granted the Echo style bikes are made for an entirely different ride style but I think this its a great option
Awesome, someone beat me to the smart trainer setups. For a home gym where I already have a real bike, using a smart trainer was a great option for cardio. Wahoo have their KickrBike which is a full stattionary smart bike option too. But all the Wahoo, Tacx and Elite branded smart trainers are probably their own segment since it depends on budget and your existing bike and how deep you want to go on features
Probably a good idea. My grandma lived to 96 and walked herself under her own power until she died. She just had an old school fold up basic exercise bike. Every night after dinner she'd pull it out and ride it as she watched TV. She could change the resistance and that was it. She used that bike as her only exercise for 70 years. No fancy bells or whistles.
Hey Coop! I am LOVING the hand-off between others on your team for reviews. Great job on the transitioning and the writing and the presentations. Great, great format.
Oh my stationary bike: Ye olde Schwinn AirDyne that I bought from my wife's uncle for $300. It was being used to hang clothes. As a bigger guy (6'6, 300), I would have preferred the bigger size of the Rogue Echo. But $300 for an assault bike is a great great deal. I used it 7 days a week and I just love (to hate) it.
I think you all missed the mark on exercise bikes. You really need to talk to people who train for cycling and triathlons and not just people who do Crossfit and spin classes. The reason we didn't include those sorts of bikes and trainers is because we need more experience with them. That's a MASSIVE subset of stationary bikes and we need more time with the options before providing recommendations. Thanks for the insights, big fan of DC Rainmaker personally. - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews Well....if you are going to be in Miami for HIRSA this June, I could sit down with ya to discuss. I have used a ton of indoor trainers and bikes. I am a BIG fan of the Coop. :-).
You gotta add a bike trainer to your reviews….where you can hook a mountain bike or road bike (or really any) to a flywheel. Takes up less space and you have an actual bike to go outside with. Love to see your guys take on the pros and cons of this for a home garage. I’m sure there’s others who’d like to learn more about this
Waaaaay too specific lol. A lot of those don't work together and bike matters, wheel matters, keeping an extra one, belt driven or the other way....etc the old school ones... Whole channels are dedicated to that lol
Can you get much tension with those? My issue with finding an exercise bike is finding one with high tension, because I want to feel like im pedaling through mud or something.
@@greuju You're right but suggesting it b/c it may be something this community isn't aware of. They're super useful, use equipment you already have (assuming people are active and may already own a bike), and they don't take up a lot of space (most can be broken down and stored in a closet or on a shelf).
A bike review without commercial grade spin bikes like the Keiser M3i seems like it's missing a huge piece. One of those with an ipad and a fitness app is the most viable competitor to the something like the Pelaton.
I think Carol Bike is putting cash in his pocket to not talk much about Keiser M3i. Because I’m fairly confident the Keiser M3i shits on the Carol bike.
Hey, I stumbled upon your post about an "exercise bike" and I couldn't help but share my experience with the freebeat Lit Bike. This revolutionary piece of equipment has transformed my daily workout routine and changed my life. The Lit Bike's unique fusion of music and rhythm has made me look forward to my workouts, as I get lost in the beat and enjoy an immersive and motivational fitness journey. The scoring system motivated me to push my limits and achieve new fitness milestones, and the off-bike exercises helped me to curate a comprehensive workout experience. But beyond the workouts, freebeat has fostered a supportive and empowering community, making me feel accepted and motivated. If anyone is looking for an exercise bike that's more than just a bike, then I highly recommend trying out the freebeat Lit Bike. Thanks for sharing your post, and keep on riding to the rhythm!
You can buy less expensive air bikes, but eventually you'll end up with the Rogue Echo. I used my AirDyne for 30 years and finally made the jump to the Rogue Echo. It's the bike that years from now will be talked about as how they used to make them when quality counted and they were made to last several lifetimes (those communists can build air bikes!) The Concept 2 erg bike is also a classic and the best choice if the arm motion isn't what you're after.
Need a recumbent bike option, much better for long term use vs 30 minute intervals. Hope we get to see some content on that! I like being able to watch a movie, use a magnetic flywheel to keep the noise down and also use it while the family is sleeping.
I have the Concept 2 Bike Erg (and rowing erg) Such good pieces of fitness equipment! Only other spin bikes I have used were in Spin Classes in the Gym. The Bike erg feels like a real bike. I mountain bike for 8-9 months of the year and the bike erg works well for me. It has a narrow Q-factor more like a road bike, but that is fine.
Peloton absolutely changed the game for me. I went from zero cardio (yes ZERO cardio) to damn near 500 rides in just over two years of having the bike+ (which IMO is absolutely worth the extra cost.). I can’t describe the rush I get from riding it. Watching all my metrics change and increase over time, seeing how much more I can control my heart rate at higher intensities, watching my name climb up the leaderboard and flip flop with someone who is a perfect competitive match… hitting a new PR. It’s an incredible piece of Equipment I don’t know that anyone can compete with their instructors either. I’ve only had one mechanical issue with the bike and they came out and fixed it no fuss. The only other gripe I would have is most of the music is not to my taste…. But The rock and metal rides make up for that and honestly it’s not hard to get past when your gasping for breath. 🤣 #Teampeloton
It would be interesting at some point to get your thoughts on turbo trainers or even bikes specifically for use with software like TrainerRoad and Zwift. Like, compare the interactive capabilities of the C2 bike with the Wattbike Atom, Tacx Neo smart bike etc. For me, I own a turbo trainer but don't like having to take my road bike on and off it. Ideally I think I'd get an Echo bike for warm ups and typical garage gym workouts and eventually get a C2 bike. I'm not a competitive cyclist and I like the idea of being able to get on the C2 and go without all the calibration, oiling of components etc but can use Zwift when I feel like it.
Wahoo or Stages for the higher end. More adjustment ability, built with open platform mentality. Smart trainers - Wahoo, Elite, Tacx At the cheaper end you can spend $$$ to add power meter pedals and buy a seat you like. Peloton lacks reach adjustability. That is a non starter for a lot of cycling purists.
Maybe late, but the best option is getting an actual bicycle and using a bike trainer. Just mount your bike to the trainer and you're golden. Best of all, you can just not mount it and bike around outside. I don't think anything can beat it.
Coop, what about indoor cycling trainers that you use with an existing road bike? Any thoughts on adding those into the mix? Such as the Kickr from Wahoo, or even roller trainers.
For the price of a few of these, you could buy a Wahoo smart trainer to connect to Zwift AND an actual real bike. Then you would... have a bike to take outside in the world. Crazy idea, yes but its kind of crazy to spend so much money on some of these that have such limited use.
Trying to get into this to help keep myself active but having a hard time deciding what would be best for someone with severe chronic pain esp in hip and neck area.
As a fellow exercise bike enthusiast, I stumbled upon your video and wanted to share my experience with the freebeat Lit Bike. It has truly transformed my daily workouts and changed my life. The Lit Bike is not just a regular exercise bike, it's a whole experience! The integration of music and rhythm into my workout has taken it to a whole new level. The swivel screen also allows me to incorporate off-bike exercises, providing a comprehensive fitness experience. Can you do a weight capacity video on bikes ellipticals and treadmills!? I want to get the rouge bike but the weight capacity says 350….however I seen the video of Brian Shaw on the same bike…please explain
I would like to request that the team testing these exercise bikes use a wahoo, or some other biking computer that can measure cadence and watts. I am a shopper looking for a high resistance exercise bike, so knowing how many watts are needed at each resistance level will allow me to purchase the bike that best simulates the demands i already put on the road. I don't want an exercise bike that claims that it has 35 resistance levels if the only difference in them is like 5 watts of difference. Also i didn't hear about espresso bikes. They are used at my local ymca and are amazing, but i want something i can easily purchase.

Good review, but… Would have been nice to see a crossover bike that dips its toes from the gym side into the cyclist world… I’m talking about Wahoo V2 Indoor Bike and Zwift I got rid of my Pelaton and haven’t looked back
If I’m on a bike indoors, it’s a real bike hooked up to a Kickr in front of Zwift. No other experience has been better for me. Admittedly I am a different breed though in that I lift for increased FTP on the bike.
You missed out on Wattbikes, Stages, Wahoo, and Tacx. I know those smart bikes are typically a higher price point but you did bring up Kieser. Also, Wattbike has a much nicer air bike than Concept. I own a Wahoo Kickr and almost purchased an original Wattbike several years ago.
COOP!!!! Can you do a review of velocity trackers? Really interested to see what you think of the accuracy of the affordable ones compared to the more high performance options.
NGL, I didn't understand half of this video nor get anything out of it. What's a fan bike? Do the ones with arms require you to use the arms? Are the flywheel bikes bad?
In your opinion its it worth it to buy the Xebex over the Bike erg? in my country the price difference its quite big (almost double), and i dont know if you can answer this, but where does the xebex stand against the bike erg?, in the matter of the computer (they add calories the same, they feel the same adding them, etc) and the construction internal and external, i know that the bike erg will last practically forever. So my questions are, is the xebex a good subtitute? are there any substancial differences between the two of them (in the way they add up calories, the feel and the internal construction) so i never get tempted again with the xebex? Thanks in advance for the response 😁
Older model but I have the Stairmaster Air Max Bike. IMO it's better than the Echo bike for the small but important simple reason that the wheel sends the air to the side and not up into your face. Everything else is comparable.
Really glad you called out the Raptor price increase. It was a great choice for me after your review but when I went back to buy it, saw the new price hike. Value proposition vanished, what a joke.
@@BagsEsquire no regrets, Bikeerg is superior. It's more versatile: you can go on long cruise, say an hour, or pedal to the metal for HITT. Echo isn't the type of bike to go slow and easy. Bikeerg is also much lighter and easier to move around.

I’m sure there’s others who’d like to learn more about this
Yeah I'd also like to know Coop thinks about indoor bike trainers
Waaaaay too specific lol. A lot of those don't work together and bike matters, wheel matters, keeping an extra one, belt driven or the other way....etc the old school ones... Whole channels are dedicated to that lol
Which one of these has an accurate power meter
The Concept 2 Bike Erg is commercial grade.
Need a comfortable seat. That’s my biggest problem with these. Recommendations???? Thanks.
If you watch it on mute it seems like he is rapping about bikes
i use my Schwinn Airdyne every single day...best 75$ ive spent..Thanks to Marketplace
Marketplace is king
@@jamilp670 for sure
Where you get it for that cheap. They’re like $600 on amazon
How bout some reviews on recumbent exercise bikes
Any chance you do an ellipticals rundown at some point? Sole, Precor, Schwinn, Nautilus etc.
I got a Nordictrack studio cycle, I thoroughly enjoy it when I can't be outside on my hybrid bicycle.
I am so glad I got my echo bike when it was still around $500.
Peloton still has money for viral marketing?
@@AmericanNope haha they still got money for something I guess 🤷🏽♂️
So what is the price?
Coop, have you guys reviewed the Bells of Steel Blitz? Around $200 cheaper than the Echo and basically the same bike.
I need to pick up the 2.0. Had the first one, it was ehh. I’ll do so. Thank you! - Coop
@@GarageGymReviews please don't review it! After you do the price will surely jump $250!!!
Love my rogue bike and it is on my throne of top cardio machines in my garage gym. Speaking of garage gyms coop I'm next up for a review.
These reviews are 2nd to none, always a great job start to finish
def for people who wanna learn some skills while cycling indoor
I’m 5 feet tall and a serious biker. Will the Rogue fit me? I’ve seen mixed reviews.
Recommend for senior starter? Good health, light back issues.
I love my Rogue Echo Bike... but I also love my Keiser M3i Spin cycle.
do you have and use both? im thinking to add air bike to my peloton bike
Wahoo or Stages for the higher end. More adjustment ability, built with open platform mentality. Smart trainers - Wahoo, Elite, Tacx
At the cheaper end you can spend $$$ to add power meter pedals and buy a seat you like.
Peloton lacks reach adjustability. That is a non starter for a lot of cycling purists.
Great job! Could you guys do a video comparing the best recumbent exercise bikes for tall people?
yo coop....is there any airbike that has magnetic resistance instead of fan? I basically want an elliptical with posture of an air bike
What do you think of Eulumap stationary bike? 7:53 Massachusetts
Maybe late, but the best option is getting an actual bicycle and using a bike trainer. Just mount your bike to the trainer and you're golden. Best of all, you can just not mount it and bike around outside. I don't think anything can beat it.
I'm debating between the Echo or the Assault bike pro. I worry about the echo because I'm short with short legs. So I'm not sure I'll fit comfortably.
Coop, what about indoor cycling trainers that you use with an existing road bike? Any thoughts on adding those into the mix? Such as the Kickr from Wahoo, or even roller trainers.
was thinking exactly the same.. Kickr + Zwift blows these out the water (but lets not forget like everything cycling: really expensive)
Thanks!
Can you do a review on a total gym. I have a small appointment and limited on space. Would like to see a review on this.
I find myself pushing my limits and synchronizing my cadence to the music, thanks to the unique scoring system. The swivel screen also allows me to incorporate off-bike exercises, providing a comprehensive fitness experience. But what I love most is the inclusive and empowering environment that freebeat cultivates. The motivating instructors and supportive community have been instrumental in keeping me on track with my fitness goals. I highly recommend the freebeat Lit Bike to anyone who wants to take their workouts to the next level and redefine their fitness journey. Thanks for sharing your video and keep on riding to the rhythm with freebeat!
As a fellow freebeat Lit Bike enthusiast, I couldn't agree more with your review! My workout routines have been transformed ever since I hopped onto the Lit Bike and started riding to the rhythm. The music integration and scoring system have taken my workouts to new heights and I find myself pushing harder and reaching new personal bests. But what sets freebeat apart is the inclusive and empowering community of instructors and fellow riders. Their support and motivation have been instrumental in helping me stay consistent with my fitness goals. And the swivel screen feature allows me to mix up my routine and incorporate off-bike exercises. Overall, the Lit Bike is more than just a regular exercise bike, it's a whole experience that has truly changed my life. Thanks for sharing your experience and keep on riding to the rhythm with freebeat!
The leather friction pad on the sunny scares me, is that something I should worry about wearing out quickly
I am all for testing things thoroughly
Where's the Keiser m3i?? Probably the best stationary bike available, but not cheap.
Prices are ridiculously high you can get one for around $200 that will do the same thing
Can you do a review on the Yesoul G1 Elephant bike with the 32 inch screen?
Hey there, I stumbled upon your video titled "exercise bike" and couldn't help but share my experience with the freebeat Lit Bike. This bike has been a game-changer in my daily workout routine and has completely transformed my life. With its immersive fusion of music and rhythm into the workout, I am able to effortlessly sync my cadence with the beat of the music, making my workout experience both engaging and enjoyable. The unique scoring system further motivates me to push my boundaries and reach new fitness milestones with every beat matched. I love how the Lit Bike offers off-bike exercises in addition to cycling, making it a comprehensive fitness experience. But what truly sets freebeat apart is their commitment to inclusivity and community. Thank you for introducing me to freebeat and the Lit Bike - this has been a life-changing investment!
Good review, but…
Would have been nice to see a crossover bike that dips its toes from the gym side into the cyclist world…
I’m talking about Wahoo V2 Indoor Bike and Zwift
I got rid of my Pelaton and haven’t looked back
If I’m on a bike indoors, it’s a real bike hooked up to a Kickr in front of Zwift. No other experience has been better for me. Admittedly I am a different breed though in that I lift for increased FTP on the bike.
Thoughts on Life Fitness upright bike? Carry them at Lifetime Fitness clubs, was able to get one fairly cheap being sold from a gym.
Air bike with hands and without hands which is better to loose both fat and belly fat?
You missed out on Wattbikes, Stages, Wahoo, and Tacx. I know those smart bikes are typically a higher price point but you did bring up Kieser. Also, Wattbike has a much nicer air bike than Concept. I own a Wahoo Kickr and almost purchased an original Wattbike several years ago.
I prefer the C2 bike erg over the wattbike and it's cheaper
Which is the best bike to train for a triathlon 70.3?
COOP!!!! Can you do a review of velocity trackers? Really interested to see what you think of the accuracy of the affordable ones compared to the more high performance options.
Have you reviewed any recumbent exercise bikes?
10:16 the best bike 🚴‼️ m3i
Agreed! ;)
Only problem ive ever had with exercise bikes is the seat. Gets too much sitting on it for over half an hour like my leg starts to go numb lmao
NGL, I didn't understand half of this video nor get anything out of it. What's a fan bike? Do the ones with arms require you to use the arms? Are the flywheel bikes bad?
you should review the bike trainers like the wahoo kickr bike and the garmin tacx
Do you need a remote tester that is not located where you are?? That seems like a ton of fun! Haha
Why did you recommend the Sunny bike over the Echelon EX-15. The Echelon is very similar price range but seems better in almost every category
Finer form is a good Brand and for the price. I'm happy.
Do you guys have any recommendations for bikes under 200? I can’t afford something more than that but I really want to start working out with a bike.
You forget the 'real' cyclist exercise bikes like the Wahoo Kickr in combination with Zwift.. Thats what indoor cycling is all about imo
My favorite still echo bike from rogue
Older model but I have the Stairmaster Air Max Bike. IMO it's better than the Echo bike for the small but important simple reason that the wheel sends the air to the side and not up into your face. Everything else is comparable.
6'6" 368lbs. Any suggestions?...
What about the Keiser M2? I think they are pretty reliable and you see them in spin studios.
Really glad you called out the Raptor price increase. It was a great choice for me after your review but when I went back to buy it, saw the new price hike. Value proposition vanished, what a joke.
I sold my Rogue echo bike and copped a C2 Bikerrg .
Any regrets? I’m between a echo, C2 or an Assault Elite.
@@BagsEsquire no regrets, Bikeerg is superior. It's more versatile: you can go on long cruise, say an hour, or pedal to the metal for HITT. Echo isn't the type of bike to go slow and easy. Bikeerg is also much lighter and easier to move around.
I think I've never seen a bicycle like this among exercise bicycles
Awesome video! Still have to say though, SoulCycle At Home Bike over Peloton’s 😭 can you do a review/comparison on those two?! That would be an awesome video!
What about the best bug zappers 2022 for the garage gym :)
So fringesports bike was kicked off this list solely for a price increase. Does it make any sense to exclude a product based on price.
You didn’t talk about comfort. I’m gonna be on that thing for a half hour a day! Which one is most comfortable to ride for that long?
You ever gonna check out the BOS Blitz bike?
What about Horizon bikes, are they no good?
Loved this video and hearing from Caroline and Anthony! Can't wait to see more!
Coop, you had the chance to ride the Torque Fitness Stealth Air Bike, and the Rogue Echo Bike. What do you find to be better quality and better ride? (leaving price out of the equation)
Hey there! I stumbled upon your "exercise bike" video and had to share my experience with you. I used to dread working out on a regular bike until I discovered the freebeat Lit Bike. This bike has truly changed my fitness routine and my life. The fusion of music and workout on the Lit Bike has transported me to a whole new level of fitness. The scoring system and motivational instructors keep me engaged, and the variety of classes cater to all my fitness levels. Not to mention, the bike’s screen can swivel, making off-bike exercises possible. I love the sense of community that freebeat fosters and the transformative power of music to motivate and inspire. The Lit Bike's chic design and superior build have not only enhanced my workouts, but also the aesthetics of my home. Join the freebeat revolution, find your beat, and redefine your fitness journey with freebeat.
Tru grit has a fan bike with belt drive I own it in my home gym and it is pretty bad ass
I think stages are the best for indoor cycling
Have you tried the air bike by Bells Of Steel? Looks like a good budget option.
In all the multiverse, the Rogue Echo bike still champ
Coop putting his wife on the spot
Not Bike Related but I’m looking at some budget racks. I’ve watched like all your videos over and over can’t decide. Someone help! Was hoping for a Memorial Day sale.
At first I was sold on the Force USA one however I don’t like that you literally can only use their attachments.
So now I’m looking at the Rep PR-1100 and one of the Titan Models. It looks like some of the titan pieces work on the rep model ? I like that titan has some scratch and dent items to save some money.
Any feedback is super appreciated
I voted for the Keiser M3i.
I love my peloton.
bruh, keiser m3i is the most superior indoor spin bike I've ever ridden. Nothing compares. Completely innovative with the fly wheel in the rear! Get one and review it!
Iv'e used it and it's great but not better than the C2 bike erg and the C2 is cheaper
