I'm not sure if you are aware of this but the Lobster Shack is only open when a Holland America ship is at the island. It has never been open for a Carnival ship the many times that we have been
Was definitely open when I was there 2 weeks ago…. Carnival was the only ship in port…

Sal, it's DEFINITELY NOT local caught lobster. It's the SAME lobster from the Ship.
That’s what I thought as well, then I saw them taking them out of the traps in the morning
This is one of those beaches where if you could pay to spend a week there, you would almost pay any amount. It is practically perfect in every way. Just a hint though ... I was on this same sailing as Sal, and the closer parts of the beach were very busy during the day . If you have kids and want to use the water park ... you can probably endure the body bumping. However, if you are able - and even if you are lucky enough to be off the boat on a tender first, you should walk well past the pirate ship bar and take a chair halfway down the beach. It is much less crowded on the sand and in the water.
What infuriates me a lot of the times is that the guests that come to this island and Grand Turk usually leave the beach with trash and debris. I wish people could understand if you want these beaches to stay as beautiful and pristine as they are to do your own part and pick up your own trash there are plenty of receptacles everywhere it's amazing how trifling lazy people are
The only thing that looks appealing is the water. Everything else looks like one giant tourist trap. The layout of the island looks tacky and overrun with people. You can def tell this is a Carnival Cruise.
I mean it is an island for tourists. Maybe you should visit before you say this island is tacky
