Can someone please answer this question for me please? I have noticed that some people SEEM to operate in intense gifts of the Holy Spirit without much praying and fasting. Is this possible at all. I ask because I have come into contact with one particular person in my church, every time they prophesy or give word of knowledge, I feel a strong sense of unease about this. I have been praying for the gift of discernment for years and believe I have it to an extent> However, how can I be absolutely sure this is the Holy Spirit at work?
