Bravo Paul, a fine shave to end the year. Please pass my compliments to Mrs. H for the arrangement of roses. Sir Winston would have loved the colors and might have asked to join Mrs. H and you for Sunday brunch as well as for permission to bring his paint brush. The roses remind me of the song "Everything's Coming Up Roses" from the 1959 Broadway Musical GYPSY.
It was very kind of Steve to send the razor and your review was very helpful, especially because you always "shoot straight" with all of us re your opinion(s). It is a matter of trust, and in my judgment, that trust is part of your charm and success. Many thanks! By the way (BTW), Steve (in Knoxville) is just across the state from me in Middle Tennessee. The Facon is designed in Texas, built in China from what I believe, great for a new starter to DE shaving, but not something I feel the need to have in my collection, much prefer CNC SS razor's these day's, 3One6, Syntesi, Masamune, Rocca, Envoy etc.

$18 with 50 Blades has to be made in China, or it's not solid steel, even at the cost of the razor in America, which is below minimum wage per hour. If it's good enough, why not?
