But in my humble opinion, recognizing Allah and all His greatness requires not only intelligence, but also openness of heart.
This is why even a person is not so intelligent (in layman's definition of it) will also able to recognize Allah and all of His greatness.
Imam Tom, you're such a shining example of who we should be listening to, as Muslims, with none of the soap opera drama of some channels. Your voice and delivery calm me no end when I'm anxious, and I'm grateful for your teaching. Thank you for showing true Islam.
Allahu akbar.❤❤
Knowledge is what Allah says - ibn Al Qayyim
Elhamdulila
HUMILITY AND KNOWING YOUR PLACE IS KEY.
SubhanAllah😭 The question is, what do we consider as the , "Future"? The only real future is the Aakhira, but unfortunately we have completely lost sight of that.
O Allah, I ask You for knowledge that is of benefit, a good provision, and deeds that will be accepted.
I like when you look at the camera. It feels like you're really talking to us. Other cameras perspective are good too but to me it feels a bit more like you are being interviewed rather than teaching us.
Barkallah Allah, May Allah reward you.
Jazak Allahu khair
Very interesting point 👍
Exactly! 100+ thumbs up Imam. MashaAllah TabarakAllah Just because one does not have a piece of paper on the wall doesn't mean they are without knowledge that has been given to them by Allah (swt).
Ibrahim (as) no degrees and who established Hanaf
Nuh (as) no construction engineering or zoological degrees
Musa (as) no business management, marketing or architectural degree and was a criminal prior to Prophethood
Issa (as) no medical, language arts degree or carpentry degree
Muhammad (saw) all of the above AND was illiterate, where the others were able to read and write.
All of them would be considered "less than" in today's society, Muslim or not.
And yet these men ALL had taqwa. And climbed to great heights in this world and are known and followed in this world till this day. Alhamdullilah
And are the examples we say we live by. But do we really? To believe in All the prophets equally and to believe in what Ibrahim(as) was sent with, Hanaf, as all the Prophets (as) followed. As the Last and Final Prophet (saw) followed. We say we do, but do we really. And yes, Allah (swt) knows what is in your heart. HE knows. Alhamdullilah
You have a calm voice maa shaa Allah.
True. And to think we are going to stay in this world for only few years. May Allah forgive us

I thought you had written Geniuos on purpose. 😂 For the ones who didn’t notice, it was a typo, corrected now.
Imam Tom, where does the western conception of imagination play into this? Aren’t the same parts of the brain are activated when we believers interpret the signs and the symbols, as when the non-believers activate what they deem “imagination”?
I would like to hear your thoughts on this Inshallah
Externally acquired knowledge is of very limited importance, compared to spiritual insight that only comes by the grace of Allah.
