You cannot tell me that this child is not a Firefighter already! He reminds me of myself, I swear. I had 3 dream jobs as a child, which were a Soldier, a Firefighter, and a Trucker. I attempted all 3 but only one succeeded, which was a trucker, even till this day! As far as the soldier, I was just like him as far as studying it to the point where you couldn't tell that ive never joined the service. People swore up n down that I joined the service, simply bcuz i knew too much. Just too bad that my background prevented that opportunity. Before attempting the service, i attempted to join the D.C. FEMS, which was a childhood dream, especially from growing up in the fire department with my father. He was a P.G County Firefighter next door to D.C.,in Maryland! Being in the firehouse as a child also gave me a love for trucks, and not to mention thay my father also loved trucks, too. So its no wonder i.became a trucker. Till this day, i still dream of being a firefighter, and i still think about taking that test. Who knows, maybe ill switch careers, or maybe do both at the same time. I actually dream of doing all 3 of my dream jobs at the same time. Firefighter 4 days a week, trucker 3 days a week, and the Army National Guard 1 weekend a month, 2 weeks a year! Its just too bad that im too old for the Army, and my background probably still wont let me join. As far as this child is concerned, i hope that they keep tabs on his life, so we can see the day that he actually joins the DC fire department! I have high hopes for this child, especially bcuz he is built for this line of work! For jobs like this, its best to have the passion and love tmfor the job, vs. doing it for the money, and he is perfect for the job!
