I like the idea of a character a fallen that's obsessed with making Humanity better like God put a limit on my creativity but now that I'm free I'm going to do my absolute best
When I played the character I did was a female Demon of House Namaru whose lore was Flame, and was a Reconciler who possessed the body of a comatose female cop who wanted to protect others and was sick and tired of seeing corrupt officials whether they be fellow cops, federal officers, or politicians get away with their crimes. And despite my character regaining her true memories and celestial name Mera she remained a Reconciler going by the mindset if the Creator wanted to forgive her and return her to her true angelic form and bring her back to Heaven then she was fine with that but if both sides reject her aka the Creator refuses to forgive her and her fellow Demons see her as a traitor for wanting to protect innocent humans then she was fine with as the saying goes being considered damned by both the light and the dark if it means protecting innocent humans.
I happened to see the premiere of the video oh, I have to say the demon series is pretty interesting. I guess that explains why the whole world of darkness is so messed up.
I wonder what the demons think of vampires and when are we getting a baali vampire clan video. I'm also interested in interaction with wraith, spirits, hunters, mages and vampires
So in summary: The World of Darkness is such a terrible place because its creator threw a hissy fit during creation. What a -dick- lovely guy. On a different note: This creation myth is obviously *heavily* inspired by christian mythology. Does that mean all of creation in the WoD was done by this equivalent of the abrahamic god? What about places and cultures that have nothing to do with christianity? There are as many creation myths as there are peoples after all.
That's the tricky part, and what I believe is why Demon: the Fallen might not see a rerelease. I think they address it in the book to some degree, but it's hard to look past that yep, it basically says that the Abrahamic god is the creator of everything. But again I'm just diving into Demon so I will be investigating this further.
There are different realms of existence which overlap the true Earth. The best reason I was given for the conflict between Demon cosmology and other religions is that they were just one part of the whole of existence. If Demons say they created humans, then they did. If the Weaver says it created humans, then it did. Also, in Demon the Fallen, Lucifer refers to God as "she".
This is the iffy part of Demon: the Fallen. Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes, but also that's just one, uh, facet of reality, or something. I try to avoid using God specifically when I'm writing my scripts but it's kind of unavoidable that God is a huge thing in WoD anyway because of Caine mythos and such. This was the nail in the coffin though.
@@juliagoodwin9510 It's a case of White Wolf wanting to eat the cake and keep it too. They explain it in the beginning of the Demon book saying basically that while in one facet of reality, Adam, Eve, Caine and Abel existed as individual people, in another they were tribes of people. It's a mess, but that's what happens when you decide to answer some of the biggest unknown in the setting.
@@juliagoodwin9510 they don't fit, really. White Wolf never wrote the different parts of WoD with the intent to mix them sadly, so the Werewolf lore doesn't mix very well with Vampire, Demon, etc. My headcanon/custom campaign rule is that Gaia was in fact the Gangrel Antidiluvian Ennoia, and that she created the Garou to protect nature from the predations of mankind and her fellow Vampires; instilling a zealous belief in a fake religion to make them more useful to her. Doesn't make a ton of sense but it kind of works for me lol
@@chucknorrisonlinux Haha it's true. I'm very limited by my wordcount per video, which is around 2000, but depending on how popular this video series is I might expand on the individual Houses and Factions more. My first video on the clans of VtM was very bare-bones as well and back then I wrote ~1500 words per episode.

Glad you caught it! Yeah, the demons are pretty much the cherry on the shitcake in the World of Darkness
@@ThePrimogen you know if I was younger I'd be a s*** stack but I came here from 40K and I'm like oh cool another planet
Are you by chance going to make a playlist for demon videos please. ( including the intro video)
Yes, thank you for reminding me, I'll get right on it!
And made!

Blasphemous and Warhammer music in the background?
How fitting.
The loss of the truth is the worst part
I will always be endeared to the Lucifarians.

No idea how the Wyrm, the Wyld and the Weaver are supposed to fit in, that kind of thing makes my head hurt.

Wonderful job as always man! Which is your favourite of the Houses? I'm always torn between the Devils and the Defilers.
