@@olukanmiolarewaju1224 Local government autonomy is very good but we need to identify the sheer incompetence of the current federal administration, Governor Seyi said the president is paying attention to the wrong problem which is true. What the feds decided on is very good and effective if the economy of the Nation is even average, unfortunately it is way below average. In a nutshell a smart and sincere governor like Seyi Makinde can ensure that regardless of bad the economy is the state is not in utter lack. Unfortunately I can't say the same of other governors.

A constitutionally elected governor doesn't know the constitution 😅mr Gov, we operate a federalism system of government meaning power is shared between the federal and state governments, with the federal government holding superior executive power, meaning power comes from the top,which is why we don't have agencies like state police.The supreme court is responsible for the latest local government directive not the federal government

Yes, he can. The FG gets money from the various state resources like Akwa Ibom Rivers, Bayelsa, Delta etc. Without the states the FG is nothing

Governor Makinde, this is not about who is superior between federal and state governments. It is about releasing LGA money that belongs to people at the grassroots. It is the right thing to do. We want you and other SW leaders to lead in this direction. Release their money, but also partner with them to direct money to security and basic health and education services.

Greed and juvenile perception. LGs can manage federal allocations far better than most State governors. They know the needs of the people way better than governors who only show up after 4 years for electoral campaigns. LGA autonomy has come to stay, accept the reality and have peace.
