Thanks for the video. Have I mentioned that I'm glad you're really liking the intros? Sadly they stopped naming the intros starting from this album. At least they started naming them again during the Apocalypse trilogy. Gahyeon's rap in "PIRI" is one of my favorite raps on a title track. Such a great album and yeah, they always find how to surpass themselves so expect a lot more in the incoming songs. And there was no one left is one of my fav b-sides, idk about genres but i just love the vibe, i can't wait for more dc content, have a good day

@@roguereacts haha yeah more videos, i'm always ready, even when i watched all the content i love to see how others fall in love with them as me before :'3
You r so right about Handong, and Gahyeon, but especaily Dongie in the earlier albums. Now this could be due to them both being in the industry shorter than the other five who were already part of Minx before DC so probably trained more and have some more experience, with Handong it could also be due to her also still learning Korean in the early stages, since its not her 1st langue. So as she got better and more confident with it she probaly got more lines. (just my theory coud be wrong of course) Gahyeon getting in the rap line has really made her more confident and adds a nice touch to the songs, and Dongie once she gets back from China also starts to have way more confidence in her vocal ability. Her tone really sticks out and adds a nice contrast to the other girls, like Dami's deep rap. The growth throughout the nighmare series is insane but once u move onto the Dystopia trilogy u realllllly notice how much they grew into amazingly talented women who KNOW they have earned a place in the kpop industry and just continue to enjoy every second they r performing. The special clip video of "And there was no one left" is just sooo Dreamcatcher lol, i cant wait to see what u think of it
it's seems like they both had very short trainee days under their belt so it's understandable how the OTMinx would get more line distribution due to them being more seasoned. Now that I'm getting into more recent albums it's nice to see them more in songs.
This album was just issued before I got into them in February 2019. I did come across them the Previous November, but dismissed them as the intro tracks suggested they were a novelty. I soon learnt. The whistle from Piri is from another track and has also been used by a small number of other K-Pop Artists.
I could totally see someone listening to an intro and being like meh probably a one off. But once you get into their discography you can then see the greatness each album has!
Nice Video! 😁😁 They actually used a sample of a whistle for "piri" even tho a piri is similar to a traditional flute, there even is a video called "Songs that use same sample as Dreamcatcher Piri". And also the ballad most of the times is the last song or the song previous to the instrumental track.
So I looked through the master sheet and I think the only thing I have left to recommend that I don't see on there is a duet with dami and siyeon called shadow and it was a track for a k-drama I believe? But feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on that. Definitely worth a listen though. So powerful as are all dreamcatcher songs.
Long comment, sorry, I like to write it as I watch the videos. YAY, love gremlin mode, means we get a good number of videos to look forward to. Just make sure you don't overwork yourself. It's a small shame that we lost LEEZ as a producer, wish him the best at his new job. Leez and Ollounder were a dangerous duo and did so much to help establish Dreamcatcher's signature sound. They used the intros to really stretch their producer legs and just have fun. Piri is still a "happy ending" my interpretation of the video is that they're pulling each other out of the nightmare, which is why they appear together at the end. However they don't know it's the members "kidnapping" them because they can only see the hands reaching out from the darkness. I think the reason Handong didn't have a lot of lines in the beginning was a mixture of confidence in herself and her Korean. Also there's always been a bit of a prejudice against foreign idols in the industry(Obviously Dongie is loved by both DC and Insomnia) since they are "rented" out most of the time from a foreign company. Once she came back from YWY she was so much more confident in EVERYTHING and her stage presence exploded. When I first heard ATWNOL I literally had it on repeat for 2 or 3 hours at work. I found it during the pandemic and was working alone in the office so I could blast all the music I wanted. I was addicted to the bass line. They have 2 full English songs now, "Can't get you out of my Mind" and an Eng version of "Tension". I was so happy seeing you add Breaking Out to the watch list. It helped me out of a dark time, the lyrics are so uplifting and inspiring if you pay attention to them.
always love a long comment, never apologies for it!! 😊 There are going to be soooo many videos in the next three days lol hope you're ready!! I feel like you are right about Dongie in these early albums! I feel like she got more confidence after being in China for a while! I love Breaking Out it's a top song for me as of right now, the message is fantastic and I love the beat of the song as well! 🥰
they do have an english song! you’ll see what it is as you continue to go through their music >:D they also have english versions of other songs such as tension (from dystopia: the tree of language), but there’s no studio version as they performed it at a concert.
Dongie really does have a special quality to her voice, and I find myself getting hit in the feels many of the times I hear her singing 😅 Also, interestingly, I heard that Piri whistle during a bank or credit card commercial on TV and discovered it was actually a sample: KSHMR - Whistle 01 (Dm) 85bpm ruclips.net/video/eCKwenZ5WOo/видео.html
Ah, the album that just so happens to have my favorite title track and my favorite b-side : And there was no one left. But it’s somehow not my favorite DC album… The into to this album is definitely in my top 3- Tree of language, Raid of Dream, end of nightmare Piri, oh how I love it so. Just when a song tries to jump to 1, Piri proceeds to remind me why it’s my fav.. my top 5 proceed to remind why they are top 5. And there is no one left.. vocals, Dami vocals. The special clip is so satisfying.. as they look into your soul. Diamond is a bop.. and Dami’s rap slays; one of my favorite Dami raps. And daydream is freaking beautiful. I agree, pre Road to Utopia there was not a lot of Handong (or Gahyeon, but even Gahyeon got more then Handong). But don’t worry, Road to Utopia and after had plenty of Handong in titles and b-sides. Which makes me happy because I do love the elegance and I also love the deeper tone she will sometimes do. I think it has something to do with confidence vocally and stage presence, something Youth With You definitely seemed to have fixed as she is now full of confidence. Dami and Siyeon are always reminding me why they are my biases. While being aware of my weakness for Dong and wrecked by Jiu and SuA.. A Piri is a traditional Korean flute, so the whistle is a flute most likely.
Dami's vocals are out of this world! I love when she sings! I keep on saying this but Dongie has such a nice tone to her voice! It's just so nice especially when she goes into that deeper register! 🥰
And there was no one left is just enchanting... the beat at first listen is not usual since not many people know about Deep House Lounge's beat with a slower tempo but the more you listen to it the more you get into it like it is sucking your attention especially with the way the girls sing...
good news! dongie's lines do increase as the albums go on. in both the title tracks and the b-sides. once she comes back from her hiatus you'll see her presence increase, both on and off stage/ in songs. If you want a good display of her vocal improvement, a few months ago dcc released her cover of Taeyeon's "Nights into Days"- here's the link ruclips.net/video/Hekk7Q7DlHY/видео.html (it's stunning) They don't have an OT7 full english song, but Yoohyeon's solo "For" is all english. Glad you're enjoying each album more! thrilled by all the content, take care of yourself though! edit: i now realize i forgot can't get you out of my mind, oops, sorry yall
Can't get you out of my head Seven Spirit Version and tension english version is ot7 full english... but if what you mean is the released album then they haven't got one...
I'm sure few InSomnias told you about "can't get you out of my mind" as their full English song for the fan. When you get to their "apocalypse save us" on their solo tracks, yoohyeon's song "For" is like 99 percent English 😂. As for Dongie not having much lines in the past is probably because she was still learning Korean and working on her vocals. The did say that each song they make they all record the whole song and the producer chooses who sounds best for each part. The fact that Dongie didn't got much of the line light was why she went to join the Chinese competition show, cus she wanted to stand out more. Hence why she's missing for two albums cus of covid she was stuck in China.
I can see Dongie getting more and more lines as I get to these newer album. I feel like her going back to China also gave her more confidence, when she came back she popped off!!
About Handong you are right, she doesnt have lots of lines in the early albums. BUT you have to remember 2 importants facts there : -first of all Handong and Gahyeon just got added to the group, while the others 5 members redebuted so it kinda makes sens that the 5 redebut members getting more lines -Handong is Chinese and was still learning korean and prononciation and all, it was even harder for her than to Gahyeon at the beginning But dont worry, this was at the beginning and throught the albums she will get more lines and in the latests albums they have a pretty well shared and balanced amount of lines between the members :)
Breaking Out's album - The Beginning of The End - has a few unique tracks and another great intro / outro tracks. So be sure to do that one. It should next after this one but I don't think I saw it in your list.
@@roguereacts It is for sure, I watched when it was released for the first time, zero warnings about what was about to happen, as soon as started I was like, EXCUSE ME MAAM!!, WHO ARE YOU?!!😆
Dreamcatcher has an English song called "Can't get you out of my mind" and they also did an English version of their song Tension, performed live at the Primavera rock festival. Also, the PIRI whistle-like sound is actually from a very popular sample but Dreamcatcher definitely made it their own. I remember one day my sis was listening to a song and I was like, THIS IS FROM PIRI??? Taki Taki also used it but completely changed the way it sounds. Here's the sample by itself: ruclips.net/video/eCKwenZ5WOo/видео.html I don't think this album is softer, Diamond is very rock-y, And there was no one left is rock but more funky/r&b-ish? The bass totally goes off. First thing I did after listening was look for the guitar and bass tabs, they're so fucking cool. Daydream is very sweet, Handong has a chinsese version of it, so look forward to that!!
we warn you all the songs of dreamcatcher are a buffet, for all tastes... all the songs are great.....you must create a single exclusive playlist for Deukae, Dreamcatcher
Just a rule of thumb, their ballads are always the last song (before the outro if there is an outro) (if there is a ballad on the album, but the last song is always the softest / most melancholic and so far I think every album besides one had a "real" ballad or at least rock ballad.) This only applies for the mini and single albums, for the 1st full album I would say Daybreak which is technically the last song since the rest is fan songs / digital singles they released beforehand. And for the second one it's Always, before the Skit (the "outro" before the solos so technically it is the last song too). Oh and fun fact Handong is the member with the most solo songs! She has 2 Chinese singles which are sadly blocked but the new one is actually on Spotify (you can also find audio on RUclips just nothing official bc it's China...). She now has 3 solo songs with the one on A:SU. The following member is Siyeon with 2 solo songs. The flute in Piri is supposed to be, well, a Piri😅I think it's a Korean wood flute. Not sure for the sample though, I think it's a sample from a famous sample pack that another gg also recently used (forgot the name sorry). Not sure if it was the flute part in the chorus though but definitely the sample is in Piri. Sorry if this is confusing but basically Piri used a sample that was and is still frequently used in kpop.
Lol i completly forgot this intro was so much EDM. I love it tho. But this is nothing, you are not prepared xD There is so much more coming your way ! Im so excited ahaha

No Matter How Great the Challenge ,
" Never Lose Your Heart and Courage " ,
This is the Way of the Legendary Dreamcatcher ⚔
This album was just issued before I got into them in February 2019. I did come across them the Previous November, but dismissed them as the intro tracks suggested they were a novelty. I soon learnt. The whistle from Piri is from another track and has also been used by a small number of other K-Pop Artists.
I could totally see someone listening to an intro and being like meh probably a one off. But once you get into their discography you can then see the greatness each album has!
@@roguereacts I was being blinded by Mamamoo at the time too. 😂 😂
Nice Video! 😁😁
They actually used a sample of a whistle for "piri" even tho a piri is similar to a traditional flute, there even is a video called "Songs that use same sample as Dreamcatcher Piri".
And also the ballad most of the times is the last song or the song previous to the instrumental track.
Oooooooo interesting! I might need to watch that video lol
there is an English song " cant get you out of my mind" in boca album
love it! can't wait to find it on the album when I get to it! 😊
You would be correct it's not on there! I made a new cover playlist #5 and added it in there 🥰
Yay, thanks so much. I'm glad I could help contribute.
And there was no one left is my favorite song. Period, full stop. Dreamcatcher or otherwise
I get it the more I listen to it the more I love it!
Another masterpiece song from Dreamcatcher ❤
facts! they just keep improving album to album!!
they do have an english song! you’ll see what it is as you continue to go through their music >:D
they also have english versions of other songs such as tension (from dystopia: the tree of language), but there’s no studio version as they performed it at a concert.
I think I found it! 🥰 Spoiler... I loved it! ehehe
Dongie really does have a special quality to her voice, and I find myself getting hit in the feels many of the times I hear her singing 😅 Also, interestingly, I heard that Piri whistle during a bank or credit card commercial on TV and discovered it was actually a sample: KSHMR - Whistle 01 (Dm) 85bpm ruclips.net/video/eCKwenZ5WOo/видео.html
she really does!!! I love that whistle! It's so addicting lol
Ah, the album that just so happens to have my favorite title track and my favorite b-side : And there was no one left. But it’s somehow not my favorite DC album…
The into to this album is definitely in my top 3- Tree of language, Raid of Dream, end of nightmare
Piri, oh how I love it so.
@@roguereacts agree, Dongie with that deeper register.
ruclips.net/video/tbAZ2tfAtoI/видео.html
Bless Insomnicy’s for this latest video of them and their vocals.
And there was no one left is just enchanting... the beat at first listen is not usual since not many people know about Deep House Lounge's beat with a slower tempo but the more you listen to it the more you get into it like it is sucking your attention especially with the way the girls sing...
I absolutely looooove that beat so much!! such a great song!
good news! dongie's lines do increase as the albums go on. in both the title tracks and the b-sides. once she comes back from her hiatus you'll see her presence increase, both on and off stage/ in songs. If you want a good display of her vocal improvement, a few months ago dcc released her cover of Taeyeon's "Nights into Days"- here's the link ruclips.net/video/Hekk7Q7DlHY/видео.html (it's stunning)
They don't have an OT7 full english song, but Yoohyeon's solo "For" is all english. Glad you're enjoying each album more! thrilled by all the content, take care of yourself though!
edit: i now realize i forgot can't get you out of my mind, oops, sorry yall
Dreamcatcher English song ((can't get you out my mind)) this link song ruclips.net/video/F_2W8SW8iXA/видео.html
Can't get you out of my head Seven Spirit Version and tension english version is ot7 full english... but if what you mean is the released album then they haven't got one...
Tension have English version too, but they only perform at primavera sound
@@rakhmadhariyasa8232 yea it's just not a studio recording is all, i was only counting those haha
@@altofficialreact8621 yea i was only counting studio recordings they released, thanks for the reminder about can't get you out of my mind tho
I feel like her going back to China also gave her more confidence, when she came back she popped off!!
since you also like ( )I-DLE, the same vibe in "And there was no one left" is present in Lost at I Burn album,or (f)x 4walls
maybe that's why I like the song so much! the I Burn album is one of my favorite IDLE albums!!
Great reaction 👏😁🎈
thank you! 😊😊
About Handong you are right, she doesnt have lots of lines in the early albums. BUT you have to remember 2 importants facts there :
-first of all Handong and Gahyeon just got added to the group, while the others 5 members redebuted so it kinda makes sens that the 5 redebut members getting more lines
-Handong is Chinese and was still learning korean and prononciation and all, it was even harder for her than to Gahyeon at the beginning
But dont worry, this was at the beginning and throught the albums she will get more lines and in the latests albums they have a pretty well shared and balanced amount of lines between the members :)
sooooo very true! I'm glad that the two of them get more and more in these later albums!
Breaking Out's album - The Beginning of The End - has a few unique tracks and another great intro / outro tracks. So be sure to do that one. It should next after this one but I don't think I saw it in your list.
Seems you don't have the Japanese Eclipse mini album on their either.
I have the japanese albums on the new list I started!
@@roguereacts Great thing for you with the Eclipse mini album is it's 3 songs... and 3 instrumental versions.
i have watched all ur Dreamcatcher reaction videos , i started at 2 am and now it's 7:30 am. i didn't even realize how time passed. LOL.
🥺🥺 OMG are you okay?! did you get some sleep?! thats a lot of videos holy crap! 🥰🥰🥰 I hope you enjoyed them all!!!
@@roguereacts
yes, im fine and i slept well, i enjoyed them all thanks for the question ♡
One of my top fav album! 😌👍🏻 i likeeee all
it's in my top 3 right now!! it's just soooo good! 😊
It's so pleasant to watch a baby InSomnia listening And there was no one else Left for the first time 😊
it was an experience thats for sure!! 😊
@@roguereacts It is for sure, I watched when it was released for the first time, zero warnings about what was about to happen, as soon as started I was like, EXCUSE ME MAAM!!, WHO ARE YOU?!!😆
Аfter listening to the masterpiece spoilers for the 8th mini-album, I came here to enjoy the beautiful until the appearance of more beautiful)
lol love that! I've been trying to avoid medley's and spoilers like the plague right now 🤣
Dreamcatcher has an English song called "Can't get you out of my mind" and they also did an English version of their song Tension, performed live at the Primavera rock festival. Also, the PIRI whistle-like sound is actually from a very popular sample but Dreamcatcher definitely made it their own. I remember one day my sis was listening to a song and I was like, THIS IS FROM PIRI??? Taki Taki also used it but completely changed the way it sounds.
Here's the sample by itself: ruclips.net/video/eCKwenZ5WOo/видео.html
I don't think this album is softer, Diamond is very rock-y, And there was no one left is rock but more funky/r&b-ish? The bass totally goes off. First thing I did after listening was look for the guitar and bass tabs, they're so fucking cool. Daydream is very sweet, Handong has a chinsese version of it, so look forward to that!!
Found the English song! 😊 Thank you for the sample! I'll had to listen to it!
we warn you all the songs of dreamcatcher are a buffet, for all tastes... all the songs are great.....you must create a single exclusive playlist for Deukae, Dreamcatcher
It's gonna happen 🤣🤣 my poor spotify is going to be like "oh she's listening to dreamcatcher once again" 🤣
diamond walked so boca could run
Facts!!!!
🤟😄🤟...💯🥰🤩😍Dreamcatcher...👍👍✌️😉✌️🍀😇☘️...🌛🤗🌜
😻🤩🤯🤯
Just a rule of thumb, their ballads are always the last song (before the outro if there is an outro) (if there is a ballad on the album, but the last song is always the softest / most melancholic and so far I think every album besides one had a "real" ballad or at least rock ballad.)
This only applies for the mini and single albums, for the 1st full album I would say Daybreak which is technically the last song since the rest is fan songs / digital singles they released beforehand.
Sorry if this is confusing but basically Piri used a sample that was and is still frequently used in kpop.
good to know!! It seems like on some albums there is no "true" ballad but there are some softer ballad like songs!
@@roguereacts right that too!
Trying to think of a vocalist that is more powerful⚡ than Siyeon ❓,
from the Past , Present and Future .
she is the Legend of all Legends
hiya ollie/ olly ... im just i dont know.. when it comes to piri, ugh
Ollie say hello!! ehehe Piri is fantastic!

Lol i completly forgot this intro was so much EDM. I love it tho. But this is nothing, you are not prepared xD There is so much more coming your way ! Im so excited ahaha
At this point I should just prepare myself for anything in their intros! 🤣
