Sonic Generations - Shivery Mountainsides [S rank]

This is the first fully original sonic generations stage mod in a long time and it's pretty good.
Taking high routes feels cool but when it comes to anything else the stage feels too slow for its own good.
I hope more stage mods decide to follow on this one's footsteps and we get more similar to these down the line.

@@HueManatee To be fair, I wouldn't call this "exactly" like the last few games. The level spends the entirety of it's length in 3D and consistently displays a variety of different options on how you want to progress for you to choose from. It's hands-down the best level design I have ever seen in a Sonic game imo.

@@montgomorry123 if this was a professionally made level with assets specifically designed for it while maintaining this level of freedom, it'd be amazing. This specifically isn't bad per say, it just isn't the best because of the asset limitations

I meant sections where, if you don't nail a shortcut, you have to do some slow jumping on platforms to move forward.
