Hey, Jason, I’m a few months late but that was certainly the right Hoosier tire for that race!! Car looked like it handled decently. There was one time, on a restart, where I thought I caught a very short glimpse of a car on your inside. Otherwise, I never saw another car during the race, other than lapped cars you passed after they spun. Great job racing, and I’ll bet it was great to be back with the family, Pete, Rose, Dodge, etc!! Thanks for the wonderful video.
Congratulations Jason... you and Brad have put in so much work at the speed shop it nice to see it paid off big time for you guys. I think Pete was your lucky charm and deserves a big ole ribeye for his efforts...lol once again congrats and keep the awesome videos coming...now it's time to get some hogs.

Jason Owens who does the track prep always does an awesome job, it’s that way for every weekend. If you race at Cherokee even in a weekly division you better have two things good equipment and someone with deep pockets, because nobody there has junk. Our area packs the stands at most tracks, and some of the best racing’s here, glad you got to come up and run here in our little corner of the world.

Then today you throw a fresh hoop on, hardly get off the gas in comparison for most of the race, and get a win. Man that's freaked me out! Well done!

Awesome! Great driving and restarts, good setup on car also considering most of the other video's of your's are on a dry slice track. You got faster every lap. About the time your tires were getting too hot there would be a caution. It was a horsepower night but yet I never seen a fender. I noticed your tear-offs had all the pull tabs out. I used to fold the tab over before putting the next one on so there was only one tab out so I didn't pull more than one off at a time. I've raced on tracks where you needed a tear-off every lap.

street stocks sure have changed, back in my day we had to run a factory steel body with a rollcage welded to the frame,wet sump, cast iron exhaust and intake and a two barrel carb,...factory rocker arms,and a points ignition, lucky if you made around 250 hp with a small block 350 with 9 to 1 compression
10 years ago those 8" Hoosiers would pop hard onto the bead. I miss racing. My dad won 400 features in mods and late models. Sure was fun. I've heard your name before I came across you on here.
