my two issues with cyte. 1. the 2 doesn’t apply to incarnon charges. i can overlook this as incarnons are already strong and it can just be subsumed over so it’s not a big deal. 2. the invisibility being on a minute cooldown does not make sense. if you’re able to get headshots because your team isn’t nuking everything and enemies are actually spawning near you then you’re fine. but if you happen to experience these pretty common conditions then you will frequently find that your invisibility runs out and you still have around half a minute or less of cooldown left. at higher levels where the excess damage he provides actually matters, having your 1 survivability ability on cooldown and having the lowest effective health of every frame means you will die unless you hide and wait for the cooldown. if you’re able to get headshots then you don’t notice the cooldown. if you aren’t able to get headshots, even in conditions where it’s not your fault, you are useless. i don’t know why they chose to do this, and hope that if they release changes they at least reduce the cooldown to 30 seconds if any.
In a few months they'll release a band aid Augment that lets you reduce the cooldown on headshots or whatever. They decided to make it his Helminth and because they knew it'd become too popular they went hard on the limitations. If his 2 had been the Helminth none of this would've happened.
The cool down for his 3 changes it from a cool stealth move to a get out of a tough situation quick ability that you have to be mindful of using. I'm not sure if i like that or not.
As an experiment i went 4 TF duration shards and max duration plus rolling guard plus catalyzing shields then subsumed defy. All of those combined will net you with invisibility + invincibility until the cooldown timer is over😂. Throw on energy nexus and a huras kubrow and you have a lazy cyte build!
I don't think needing to score a headshot literally every five seconds- Even with enemy movement, enemy armor blocking shots, enemies with heads in weird places (infested) and most critically, trying to out-headshot-only-sniper-kill your three teammates with full auto bullet hoses in AOE, is a remotely reasonable ask from most players in most missions. It's not an ability that's intended to be sustained. I recommend replacing it with Ivara's cloak arrow- Lasts about as long, but no cooldown.
Rebb became Director and got everyone focused again, that's what happened. Things aren't taking ages to release, things are getting fixed, bugs (When not game breaking) are being turned into features, the game is in a renaissance period. I know Steve became CEO, and I think Scott moved to manage their SoulsFrame game though I haven't seen nor heard of anything beyond the initial management shakeup from a few years ago.

Man what happened to this game dude? I used to play this in like 2018 and 2019

Yeah but realistically, why, who is going to use a sniper in group games when everyone just kills things as quickly as possible with massive AOE.
