No my friend, I don't need any place filmed. Just continue to do great videos. These videos are showing me all the cities I can move to when i move to Portugal. So I get a good idea. So far Viseu is my favorite. That place looks amazing!!! 👌👌👌@@millionplacesoneworld
@BeYourselfMan Yes, Viseu is great place, good vibe, calm, beautiful, friendly people, affordable prices for real estate 🇵🇹 And it has all in one package, except ocean, but you can always travel and see it in every place in Portugal 😁

You guys just make my day. I was born in Lisbon. I live in the Netherlands since 1970 but almost every year we spend our Summer Holidays in Portugal. The way you describe these towns in all your films I saw recently, you make me proud of the country me and my Dutch family adore. Next Summer we will be in Aroeira (Costa da Caparica) where we rented a beautiful house, for our family. 7 adults and 2 grandchildren. The houses in Portugal are amazing. Almost every house is different. Where here in the Netherlands they build neighborhoods with 80% identical uninspiring houses. Has if their architects have been suffering from depressions all their lives. Probably due to the weather. Keep up the inspiring work.
Hey 🖐 Thank you for your kind words 🫡 We adore Portugal also and you are right we will see every town/village/city here🇵🇹 If you want to see our reaction about Sao Martinho do Porto it's here: ruclips.net/video/m9IHcyy4uqU/видео.html and I've been to Vila Nova de Milfontes also, you can check out this episode: ruclips.net/video/JK8izqGheyA/видео.html 👌 Have a fantastic trip with your family to Portugal 🙂 Caparica is still on our ToDoList 🇵🇹 Tchau-Tchau!
Beautiful little town. We live in Nazare and often go up there. If you keep driving north past the lighthouse, at the bottom of the hill there is an access to a beach where a little river that into the ocean. It's nice and calm in the summer for kids to play in. There's also a restaurant that sells amazing burgers! Across the road from the access to that beach is a road that takes you through the forest. It has picnic areas set up all along the road.
That day when we filmed episode, we went to Nazare to see the waves, ended up in mud not far from lighthouse under heavy rain 😄 We tried at least 3 times to go to Nazare and see the waves - no luck for now 🙃 Thank you, we will take roadtrip in summer, maybe will try that beach and burger place 👍🇵🇹
You mean, the road that goes through the "oasis" that survived the 2017 fire unscathed. I'm still amazed to this day at how everything around it was torched but even the tallest trees in the "oasis" were untouched by the fire.
@@millionplacesoneworld - There are fires every year in many places in Portugal but that one was particularly important because the Pinhal de Leiria is a 800 year old national forest that has never been affected by a fire in such a large scale. Here's a dashcam video I made a week after that fire: ruclips.net/video/lrdP7MkcHfk/видео.html (sorry for the poor quality in some parts but it's an old video that has been compressed a million times by YT at this point)
Adorei o peixe e a vibração. Obrigado pelo seu comentário 👍
Another beautiful place that lost its traditional appeal throughout the years: the majority of the houses are holiday homes or are for holiday renting. It gets very busy in the Summer. 12:00 - Portuguese lesson of the day: those are called "petingas". They're usually deep fried but they can also be roasted in the oven with garlic and olive oil. 🙂
I see, because since the SPDM is beautiful, it's not like authentic parts of Portugal. Hotel where we stayed also was notbon the budget side even now in the off-season. Petingas - good 👍 Now I will order them everywhere, they are soo goood💯💯💯 Thank you for info 🤝
I love it... a new place to visit. Interesting mix of architecture. I think it has something to do with the rich (€) / rich culture and history. There are some Scandinavian-vibe houses & some Swiss-vibe houses. Some houses do remind me of some houses in Peniche. It's terrible what wash up on the shores. I have friends who are involved in the beach cleanup in Peniche and in Foz do Arelho and I will participate when I'm living in the area. (Good way to meet people too!) Obrigada - great video!
Yeah Swiss, that's what I saw also with wood frames etc. Don't know reason behind this style of buildings. This was actually first time I've seen so much plastic on the beach(only in documentaries), it's really sad. I showed my daughter what happens with all her "cheap plastic I want that toy". It's really sad...😔 In Latvia we had "big great cleaning" every year when all people of the country picks up trash from surrounding areas where they work/live and government trucks picks up all of that trash. Thank you for comment Jen 👍🙂
The whole country... such a good idea!! It's good you are educating her on these things. We (older generations) created this mess... @@millionplacesoneworld
@@JenShea Will check how Foz do Arelho looks in winter, it's next on the list 🫡 But I think Portuguese government should also invest more in cleaning, because some places are filled with trash since I'm in Portugal.
Foz is a really nice size town, and a great location. Nadadouro is nearby, a little closer to Caldas. They are fairly close to anything you could want since they are a short drive to Caldas and close to São Martinho. The lagoa is really beautiful, lots of water sports... and the lagoa is on the pink flamingo's migration route so they stop in there twice a year. And, it's also close to Óbidos and Bombaral. @@millionplacesoneworld
Interesting. Yes, the homes do not look like typical Portuguese buildings. Maybe most residents are immigrants or expats? As you say, looks like a nice place in the summer if you have lots of money. 💰 Your restaurant scenes always make me hungry. 😂 I will try fresh sardines in our next visit. 🐟 Cheers.
I'm not sure about residents, probably they are not Portuguese, but that I don't know 😬 About food, those sardines were so good that while I was editing that part I was dreaming about them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you for your comment as always 💯🫡

Visits perhaps starting in Espinho...following on to Póvoa de Varzim and Esposende...then further north Viana do Castelo, Vila Praia de Âncora...Vila Nova de Cerveiras known as the village of Arts...it is a mini Most beautiful village...on the banks of the River Minho....Continuing onwards to Valença and Monção...going to Castro Laboreiro..Passing through Arcos de Valdevez and Soajo and Ponte da Barca...then heading towards Gerês. ..and Vila Verde...then heading to Braga visiting Bom Jesus and Santuário do Sameiro with a beautiful view over the city of Braga...Braga is the city with the most Brazilians in the entire country...more than 15,000 Brazilians live in Braga ...after Braga maybe see Guimarães where Portugal was born...To see all this takes a lot of time...but it's better to see everything calmly than rushing....you can watch videos about these places on RUclips to get an idea...A big hug...huge
Wow again, thank you 👍 We plan to do bigger trips in summer, when our daughter will have a break at school. Thank you for idea of the route💯 In the summer I usually go inland, since coast is very crowded, north is on our ToDoList and your comment really helps, I can apply for drone and everything, because now I know where to go 🫡 Muito obrigado🇵🇹
I learned how to swim in those abandoned swimming pools in the beginning of the 80’s during summer vacations. They have been abandoned since soooo long now🥲.
Regarding the debris on the beach off season. It will be cleaned before the Summer. In Spring some areas like Almada, used to send primary school children on a program to clean the beaches. That was done in order to make children aware not to leave garbage behind after spending a day on the beach. That was very necessary because only 2 decades ago, the Portuguese were among the dirtiest people in Western Europa. Only contested by the French. Now it is much better.
Wow, that's interesting information 🫡Thank you! I think all that plastic comes from all corners of the world. Since I've also been to Asia, I've seen how people "care" for the environment there.
This is for a ice cream for your family :) Another fantastic video.
