I second, I would love to hear these on a clean setting, not over saturated distortion. Although those pickups together with the woods have tons of crunch and bite. Gosh Godin !!!
I got mine today! 10 minutes in to playing it I said out loud "Woooow!" The neck plays like butter. The pickups sound fantastic. Extremely articulate, and rich harmonics. Color me impressed. I can say without a doubt it's my new favorite guitar, and I'm a Strat guy. 🤷♂️ Killer guitar, and priced way below its value. Great job guys!
I've watched several of these played clean only and was impressed. I actually do both, do I'm glad there a coupla videos out demonstrating these distorted as well.
I just feel in love with one at my local guitar store, I'll be buying it next payday. Good cleans really thick and dynamic not just gnarly 70s hard rock crunch.
I have guitars that sound great clean and fall apart with distortion so this demo is significant in it shows how this guitar holds together with some gain. I like this. There are other demos that show the clean sounds. Seems like a great guitar 🎸
Only thing I would complain about is i bought mine new at long and mcquade and the paint on the bottom side of the guitar flakes off just by looking at it…and now I can’t get it replaced because they say it’s my fault…I paid 900$ Canadian new in 2021 and seeing how the price went up to 1300$ new since then I really would have loved to have a pristine exemple and not have flaked out paint…
I almost got one if those after watching mark zabels review but ended up getting a summit classic sg. I'd really like to see a rear down if the resinator cause it may still be in my future
Q: So what color is your guitar? A: Tortoise pick guard. Actually, I own a Godine A6, I took the acoustic strings off and set it up with 9’s. It plays great but it sounds really “plastic”. Mark Zabo does a great review on this guitar with clean tones and it sounds sweet!
For all people complaining about the heavy gain, here is another shot that compliment really well this guitar ! ruclips.net/video/Rs4JM9cqlSo/видео.html&ab_channel=GodinGuitars
Like EVERYONE else here is saying: I want to hear it clean with a variety of pick pressure and maybe some playing with the volume knob with light gain. This tells me nothing.
I'd suggest that there should be more variety of tone examples starting with clean for all pickup positions and perhaps adding some crunch and gain later but this demo really doesn't reveal anything about the guitar itself.
These guitars have a decidedly vintage character and appear to visually reference certain European guitars from the 60s that featured brightly colored plastic as a result of having repurposed materials originally intended for accordions. That being said, it would have been more appropriate to demonstrate the instrument with music that acknowledged this influence and was similarly obscure and unique as its appearance.
you built a guitar with 2 pickups, and you hire a reviewer who only plays with the bridge pickup with a trashy distorted sound. So this guitar sounds like any cheap rock-axe... I´ve got two Godins and I know there´s much more in these guitars
Could you display more than 1 tone. That doesn't tell me anything. I feel like I just walked into Guitar Center and had to listen to some 12 Year old flail away. I was interested in this guitar visually. Now I am not. Worst overview ever.

They sound just a s amazing completely clean. I have a matte black with the zebra ‘buckers and love it. 🎸👍🇨🇦

Which color did you get?
@@bluwng Black. Best looking of the batch to me!
What is the weight like ? I'm guessing that is fairly light, but the old Radiators were generally very hefty ?
Ron Mercer the old Radiators were feather weight due to the hollowed out cavity below the pick guard. One of the lightest guitars I own
9 months later how is it keeping up
I've watched several of these played clean only and was impressed. I actually do both, do I'm glad there a coupla videos out demonstrating these distorted as well.
Gorgeous guitar! We need a better demo. Cleans or light breakup and neck position please!
Working on one! Just picked up the cream version 👍. Amazing cleans!!!!
Yea let’s get rid of the thrash to hear the tone...
Clean tones to listen de real sound. I ve got the radiator V1. With upgraded single coils
would did you use as a replacement?
I just feel in love with one at my local guitar store, I'll be buying it next payday. Good cleans really thick and dynamic not just gnarly 70s hard rock crunch.
Needs more pick guard.

What's the song from 1:55 onwards? It sounds familiar somehow.
I love that Godin demos show you exactly what you want to see based on the type of guitar. Also, definitely want one of these.
These look great, very creative designs!
Hope they’re affordable!
800
Why do Godin guitars sound so good? Wow, what an eargasm!

So, only one tone setting on these? I can't help but wonder what the guitar actually sounds like.
I almost got one if those after watching mark zabels review but ended up getting a summit classic sg. I'd really like to see a rear down if the resinator cause it may still be in my future
How about a better review and some clean tones, and what do these cost ?

Just one word... WOW 👍👍🤘
Love the raw, raunchy snarl. Killer fuzzed out stoner doom psychedelic jam axe !
Hello
Is it a Two pieces body ?
Ésta es la guitarra que me enamoró el primer dia que la vi, literalmente la guitarra de mis sueños
What a subtle pickguard :-)
It's as big as Australia.
I have the original version but this really rocks.
AWESOME!!!! I Need one!

When I was 13 years old this is exactly how I tried out a new guitar. I've grown up since then.
the old one was a great slide guitar !!!
Awesome 👍🏼
But you guys need more endorsers
Like EVERYONE else here is saying: I want to hear it clean with a variety of pick pressure and maybe some playing with the volume knob with light gain. This tells me nothing.
This guitar sounds amazing... and nice body...
I would hear the Clean Sound
I like the looks but honestly, the pickups sound a little muddy
Beauties...but CLEAN TONES PLEASE...You made your distortion point in the first minute. I own GODINS and want more than just a metal driver
Yes please. Clean tones! We know if like a guitar on clean tones. All guitar sounds the same with a distortion pedal.
Go ahead and go back to the 💪 now
Is this semi hollow or solid ?
Solid.
Thank you for not showing the sound
doesnt anyone play clean anymore ?
I'd suggest that there should be more variety of tone examples starting with clean for all pickup positions and perhaps adding some crunch and gain later but this demo really doesn't reveal anything about the guitar itself.

Sounds just like any distorted guitar - try playing a variety of clean tones.
Play clean....please!!!
toooo much fuzz man !
Wyld Stallyns!!
i like the rock sound it is made in canada is better than gibson and is cheaper thanks godin
It’s 1600$ Canadian now…
That's a lot of pickguard going on.
I love g o l d in g i t AR
🇨🇦🦅☝️😎
Uh-huh and if he only played clean tones, people would be screaming for distortion. Nice guitar by the way.
Why so much distortion only, sounds all the same. Is there something to hide? A pity.
La toute noir est belle
Yeah. How about a demo where they aren't trying to recreate hair metal. The original version of the Radiator seemed to have a much more unique tone.
you built a guitar with 2 pickups, and you hire a reviewer who only plays with the bridge pickup with a trashy distorted sound. So this guitar sounds like any cheap rock-axe... I´ve got two Godins and I know there´s much more in these guitars

No Clean sounds......no single note playing......great guitar, bad demo.
No clean tones. Worthless to me as a demo video.
