OK, it was a very different story from most, but was very good. Well written, narrated well, and a twist at the end that was surprising. I enjoyed it very much, much more than most of the shorts that I’ve read.
This gives me this feeling of optimism for other races to come forward together and be amazing. Can't believe Humanity lost but with over 100 other sentient races avenging humanity would make humanity proud
"Not even the Hive will remember you." That is one of the harshest, coldest declarations that can be made. FAFO on a galactic scale.

This goes way harder than it has any right to. Well written, great twist, hammers home the magnitude of the vengeance.
I remember a story where AIs went out for revenge after aliens destroyed their parents, basically reverse Skynet
