Grateful to you for making this video! I want to make drumsticks for a party this weekend and was really struggling to find any detailed explanations on how to use the leg racks! I have owned the Big Easy and the accessory kits for years and have never tried to make drumsticks, but now I feel confident to give it a try!
Great video. I used that accessory holder tonight for the first time. Put wings in mine covered fryer they were perfect in a little over an hour. I purchased it to do a Thanksgiving Turkey which was excellent and followed it up with a Prime Rib roast for Christmas. Probably the most tender and juicy I’ve cooked. Wings were easy and delicious Definitely going to try Ribs next. TBE is a great outdoor addition to my cooking tasks.
Thank you! Oh boy, getting stuck in a wormhole watching your videos. Do you think I can bread the drumsticks the way you did your fried chicken and cook them this way? Very good stuff you’ve got.
Thanks for the tutorial Jeff. I've been using my Big Easy for turkey and other larger meats for years now, but just got the accessory pack and am doing drumsticks like yours tonight. Definitely some useful tips in here.
@@Armadillopepper Those chicken legs turned out fantastic. Made a home made rub and gave them a few hours to sit with that on them, and then in the Big Easy for just under 45 minutes. Perfection. Thanks again!
I've had my big easy for a year now and it's our go to... The grill was used for Christmas Turkey @ work and was a huge hit... Ribs using fryer and smoker, steaks, blackened chicken, roasts... It's the real deal...
Great video! I ordered an accessory kit. So I'm watching all your videos to get prepared. I'm guessing that some chicken wings could be added to the bottom rack as well?
Dear Santa, did you see me watching this video? Do you already know what I want for Christmas? Can you deliver this for Christmas in July? heh heh. Excellent video, Jeff!
I went to the box store today to look for the kit, could not find it, so I went to ebay, found a 22 piece kit for 22 bucks, can not wait for it to show up, great looking chicken
I got mine on Amazon. I think you will really like this kit. Great value. I've used the drumstick holders, the tray for wings and the kebab holders. BTW, makes great kebabs.
Slippery little buggers aren't they. Put a pan in the bottom with taters and onions and such in it and you have the seasoning drip down to flavor them. I have the SRG and the basket is a little larger. You think this would work with mine? Say 'hi' to Donna.
Just picked up an unused 'The Big Easy' with all of those accessories at Goodwill for $13. Best thrift store find to date. I put a non-stick standard pie pan in bottom of rack (fits perfectly) filled with sliced potatoes, onion, and bell peppers. They were cooked in the drippings... Mmmmm!
#1) you did not tell what setting you put the Big Easy on. #2) It looks like you cooked by time alone? Dangerous with chicken. #3) I assume the wings (I men legs) on the inside were less done than the wings (I mean legs) on the the outside? None of these explained
Hi Rob, Thanks for watching. My Big Easy does not have settings, hence why I didn't mention any setting. I do turn the propane knob fully open for all my cooks unless I specify otherwise. I've cooked chicken for many years and can tell when it's done. I certainly appreciate the safest way is to check with a thermometer. We certainly appreciate your feedback and will try to include more details in the description box to help you in the future. Please cook your chicken to a minimum of 165 degrees F. Actually, you shouldn't take our word for it. Please check the US government food and drug admin website for safe temps for all foods.

Best ribs I ever made were in my big easy. Just make sure your rub has low or no sugar or it will carmalize too much. Trying legs for the first time today.

Congrats on your new cooker. If you get a chance check out our Big Easy ribs videos.
Great video. Perhaps I missed it but what temp did you set the big easy at?
Hi Wade, My model doesn't have temp settings. Propane knob all the way open.
Thank you! Oh boy, getting stuck in a wormhole watching your videos. Do you think I can bread the drumsticks the way you did your fried chicken and cook them this way? Very good stuff you’ve got.
Thanks and as long as you use the same breading that I did, it should turn out just fine.
Just got my Big easy and I love it. Thanks for the info.
Big Easy is a great cooker
The leg attachment is a great item, really ups the frier game.
Great set of chicken legs!
Thanks Joe. Hope all is well up there in the Northeast!

Thanks Lyle. This works out nicely for chicken legs.
Very cool fryer! Nice rack of chicken!
Really like this thing for chicken. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh yes. We have some wing videos in this cooker also.
Great video. I'm making some for dinner tomorrow night
Thanks. Let me know how it turns out for you.
@@Armadillopepper I used a dry rub and they were very good. I'm on a keto diet... So I missed having the BBQ sauce.
Well that's a good gizmo! those legs looked so good~
Thank you Ms. Booger.

Excellent video, Jeff!
Many thanks. Let me know if you Santa brings presents in July. I will have to buy him a beer!
Great tops here, sir!
Thank you so much. Hope all is well at your beautiful ocean.

Now that's a good idea. Each rack is 10 " long by 5" wide.
Do you cook on high, medium, or low? Almost every recipe I read or watch does not specify temperature range.
My cooker does not have separate settings. I always turn the propane dial fully on.
Making some legs tonight, thanks for the video!
Let me know how they turn out Bro.
They were pretty spot on! Next we're going to use the kabob rack. So far ribs on the hooks is my favorite.

Thanks bro. Doing some chicken thighs .....,,,,,,,Love the Big Easy and A. P. (yall)
