- Soooo I've been consuming a few too many dramas lately (while waiting for SDC5) and I noticed something in one of the dramas I recently finished. Yes, you'll see how many times The Untamed/CQL is actually referenced.
Edit: I just realized that I published this video right on time for the anniversary of The Untamed 😭

So after further digging, I found out that both dramas have the same production company (NSMG), so now everything makes sense lol.

My first c-drama was fiys, my first c-drama celebrity crush was xu kai....& i have seen untamed fans were over joyed seen untamed in fiys.
At that time i was like "why are they so hyped"😅
But i didn't watch untamed for them...
I kid you not I watched The Untamed RIGHT before watching Falling Into Your Smile and I thought it was my recency bias that was making me see glimpses of it everywhere 😅

@@ang3432 No, it doesn't have to. The Untamed is cool. Even my nieces want to watch it, but they haven't reached the minimum age yet. In Germany it is only released from 16.

I just finished watching TU again... it's becoming a monthly ritual... in between Legend of Fei, Gank your heart, Ace Troops and The Wolf.... I clearly have no life haha... Just a fun fact also, Yang Xia (Chief producer on this and screenwriter for TU) just finished as Executive Producer on Xiao Zhan's new one Where Dreams Begin with Li Qin.... so she loves her UT cast....

I noticed a few of these when watching 《falling into your smile》, but I missed the online ad, and the framed picture in FL bedroom. I also hadn't realised K was in 《the living dead》！
I never noticed them at all since I watch FIYS first. But I'm hooked now to CQL. 😅😅 Gonna rewatch FIYS then to watch this tidbits. 😆
I rarely finish a Chinese historical/traditional genre drama, because it's too OA for me, and I find it too cliche, but "The Untamed" is the first series/drama that I've finished watching despite being tooo long or having a lot of episodes (which I also hates) but I really find it entertaining, there was never a dull scene, all scenes is a must watch, and I even lost count on how many times I rewatch it.. haaayys why is "The Untamed" sooo good😭 because of this video, I think I'm going to rewatch it again.

I remember there was a bit of a fuss about referencing TU in this drama as it was assumed the director used it to lure viewers. I thought it was the umpteenth mountain out of a molehill because, if the goal were to appeal to the audience, displaying a comparison between this drama and a masterpiece would have just been a risky move. The "Wake up early to watch The Untamed?" is not accurate, though. When you watch it, it's 24/24 🤣

maybe i ts not what u call a fan mode but due to untamed progression,i think its a stratigic business to captured viewership.we all know that untamed is a massive hits and if its with the same directors production likewise its a great decision to had a glimpse collab with pic of untamed in every episode and for a fans of untamed they actually waiting for every episode clip there is of this inserted scene.
And also I think when Wen Ning realised Sizhui was A-yuan by the lake/river the one who played as one of friends of Sizhui who wore blue colour dress I think he's the one who played as God Ming in FIYS

I went and checked out the drama "falling into your smile" and saw that He Pen is in it too. He Peng was in "The Untamed" too, he played Wen Chao. Horrible character although he's a nice and happy guy. 😊
