I was a “special” medic for my 17 years of active duty time. I thought I was too tough to suffer from PTSD. I was so wrong because the months after leaving the Team and becoming a civilian was traumatic all by itself. Then the thoughts of combat and death worked its way into the crevasse of my brain. My peace comes from journaling, writing fiction and reading along with as much time with my Mother of Nature. The VA is clueless when it comes to PTSD so you’ve got to do it for yourself. Your work was gorgeous today and like probably your audience, I say let it be. . .
I'm with you. Former 3SFG(A) HHC and USASOC POG. All my respect to my eighteen series spearheaders. Painting means so much when we don't have the words to be so eloquent sometimes. //
Thank you for your service to Country! Art and fluid painting is a form of meditation! Its beautiful and fun! Amazing as therapy! Much love to your future peace!❤
I'm so glad you left this piece be, way too beautiful to mess with. Love it. Gardening is grounding but also nurturing which in turn nurtures you, that's why so many of us find it therapeutic.
This is gorgeous. I understand why you didn't want to touch it! However, I would still love to see you do this color combo again and take it all the way! This fluid art is my therapy. I get joy from creating AND watching folks like you for inspiration. Carry on J. Mo!
My Zen space is NATURE. 6 years ago we moved to a forest and we're 100% off the grid. We're caretakers of 80 acres. Nature has always been my run to place to heal my bleeding soul
I love the depth of this piece. Along with painting and gardening, I maintain a small aquarium that I find soothing. I find milking my goats and making cheese is also very therapeutic. I think it's the growing, living, and creating that bring peace.
First of all, love your videos! I I'm just starting to get into fluid art and your knowledge has helped me tremendously. Thank you 🙂 I'm totally into adult coloring. I know it's kinda boring compared to fluid art, but I find it very relaxing. I started a few years ago when my anxiety was uncontrollable. Like you mentioned, just trying to find happiness in the little things. It's definitely a work in progress. Again, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. 😊✌️
My zen space is watching your channel with my huge white fluffy cat dozing on me purring up a storm 😅 Dang! That’s AMAZING! The way the colors overlap with a translucency is phenomenal! I love watching your cell paintings, the way they grow and transform is amazing and calming. But I’m so excited that you didn’t add them to this painting. I’m sure they would have look gorgeous but I think they would have over powered the simplistic and subtle perfection you created ❤
I cut and polish opals, mosaic and am currently addicted to watching these fluid art painting videos and still yet to have a go myself. Love what you do.
Love this!! So glad you decided not to do the cells. It would be cool to do another w/the cells, but this is just gorgeous!! My other “therapy” is sitting outside watching the birds & squirrels in the yard. I have 8 feeders & it calms my soul to sit on the deck & enjoy nature. After moving here from Florida, I found the beauty of the seasons… we even had 4 inches of snow last week! Very unusual for South Georgia!! My art studio has a huge window with a view of the backyard too… so double “therapy” when I paint. 💖💙
The things that helps my ptsd the most are my cats, sewing patches on pretty much everything, have levi jackets covered as well as bath robes, i paint ,and work on old messed up guns.
Beautiful work. Lamp black is a warmer, less blue black and doesn't make the greenish hue with yellow, FYI. Gardening is good having your hands/feet in the soil helps your body do what it does with serotonin. It's a plus that plants look amazing. I hit a stuck spot with painting so I've been quilting... Works as well as painting. Thank you
I only discovered your channel a few days ago and have watched a few different clips. Other than your talent for art, I like that you talk us through it in a quiet gentle way as if you are nurturing us. It aspires me to try it some time, and I think the cell art particularly is very interesting and also there is so much scope for the design; circles, spirals, a grid, bottom corner to top, a rainbow shape. Very interesting. This one was very nice and glad you didn't create cells over this one. The colour palette worked very well and the mix of the colours did create some interesting greens and pinks when they mixed. It seemed to have a smoky, wispy texture which is very attractive. Zen is a warm day with a gentle breeze in a fragrant garden.
Not my pallet color of choice but this turned out stunning! I think you should do the same exact thing but add oil to get cells and just see the difference. I know it’s impossible to replicate pours exactly but it would be fun to see what happens each time, the sad thing is this one was so great it’ll be hard to get one just as good, lol.
That looks so cool. May I ask you if you also layer your paints according to transparent, semis and opaques? Is that how this wonderful effect is created?🤔🤗

Beautiful. It has a lot of depth and draws your eye to many parts
I've recently started doing zentangles. Very relaxing.

So cool

This is truly beautiful. I love your work. You bring beauty to my eyes and that gives me peace. Thank you.
I just started working with modeling paste! I love painting, but modeling paste is so much fun!
Freaking amazing ❤
You made a good choice in leaving it.
Fascinating! Not at all what I was expecting - it’s even better!!! So glad you didn’t go for cells.

I agree. That's perfect. No reason to mess with it.
Leave it!!! Love it!!!
Oh, it's gorgeous - looks like a folded piece of satin.
