Stupid Covid took away the chance of seeing her winning this award in a full theater, getting the standing ovation this legend deserved... however, she won, finally, thats what matters
But they were COVID 19 tested two weeks before this event, they were in isolation until the night of the event, they were all wearing masks to keep each other safe. And proper social distancing as mandated by the City of Toronto was observed.
The fact that she gave a shout out to her makeup, wardrobe and hair teams was amazing. Those people get so over looked ALL THE TIME and the fact that Catherine during HER moment thought to shout them out is such a testament to her character.
Her ability to bring Moira to life is largely facilitated by the zany wigs and fashion, so it’s awesome that she recognizes that enough to mention the people whose talent make it possible. What an amazing cast and set of characters. 🥰

What amazed me the most about the show is I can’t believe how much cloth the family managed to grab when they were given only 15 mins to pack their belongings at the beginning. So basically everybody grabbed enough cloth in 15 mins that will last them 6 seasons without having to wear anything twice.
