- Andheri is a locality of West Mumbai. Like most neighborhoods in Mumbai the railway station divides Andheri into Andheri East and Andheri West.
The Andheri railway station is the among the busiest railway stations in the city The expansion of the Mumbai Metro in the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar corridor is part of the government's master transportation plan.
Andheri West comes under K/W ward of the Bombay Municipal Corporation while Andheri East comes under the K/E ward of the same.
The international terminal of the city's Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is located near Sahar village in Andheri East. There are two separate terminals operating the domestic and international operations.

Andheri M.I.D.C. is my work place. It is one of the biggest industrial , commercial and corporate Hub in Mumbai. I love this place . Now slow by Slow becoming Biggest Corporate Centre .Everywhere new corporate buildings are under construction.Two Metro projects are under construction to reduce heavy traffic in this area. Now travelling is the biggest problem in this area.Existing Metro 1 could not make much difference in traffic due to increasing number of offices in this area.
