This train runs between New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and Guwahati (GHY) and covers a distance of 409 kilometers. It has a journey time of 5 hours and 30 minutes, but the fastest train takes 6 hours and 30 minutes. The train has multiple class coaches, including Executive Class (EC) and AC Chair Car (CC)
This is also the third new age train for the state of West Bengal after Howrah-New Jalpaiguri and Howrah-Puri Vande Bharat Express.
