- R&B Divas soul sensation Syleena Johnson and platinum R&B recording artist Musiq Soulchild have taken numerology to another level in their upcoming duet reggae album titled "9INE" (produced by Kemar "Flava" McGregor).
Set for release this summer on July 9th, both Grammy-Nominated recording artists united as a tag-team force to create a reggae album described as 'love music' in a way that has never been done before; three solo songs by each artist and three duets. Syleena and Musiq announced the making of "9INE" on Twitter, letting fans know they were recording the nine song album in nine days.

I heard the 3 duet's off this album last night, Syleena did a radio interview in London and all I can say is IT WAS AMAZING. We are all in for a treat on the 9th of July 2013 and I can't wait to hear the whole album. Their voices really complement each other, and the reggae vibe if just so uplifting. This album is gonna be a big seller trust me.

Now all Syleena and Musiq gotta do is, promote this album and BRING THE 9INE TOUR TO LONDON!!!!. I know you hear me Mrs Syleena Garris Johnson Lol. Musiq needs ta jump back on his solo game & leave grandma johnson alone... He makes great music & she doesn't, plain & simple... He already takes a bit too long between albums, but then, most great artist do. I don't know who the hell thought this was a good move. Musiq doesn't need any help @ all, he just needs to put out another album... ALONE.
I definitely see your point...I call him king Musiq...he is a heavy hitter...I prefer Musiq over Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Ne-Yo...in terms of rnB.....I respect his decision though...he wouldn't work with people he didn't respect...i'd rather him work with people he respects...on projects on his terms...as long as he can feed his fam and pay his bills....be may what it is......
