      Skill no 1 is the most important, because there are many project controllers who are just using their past experience in other projects/ organization and applying same without having proper knowledge of what they are doing and what they need to do

      Hi, Can i have cost control basics book you would recommend for understanding of terminology to a know from basic to a project level.
      Can i have an online course for the cost controller, Since i am having a background of Estimator, QS of 10 years of experience in Construction (Oil& Gas-Mechanical, Piping) and which i need to take on CCT certification as well.

    Whats wrong with the 36 guys who pushed that dislike button? What else they would like to learn and listen? are these guys the master of Cost Management or what?:)) seriously i am curious:)) i’ve been working as a project controls engineer almost 5 years, and this is a really satisfying video that covers pretty much all the basics.

    Thank you for the informative video and helpful resources, I have started my project controls career since two years and was curious to know the difference between project controls and finance estimation and forcasting dept.,I'll go through the resources to understand the terminologies more and have better knowledge of fundamentals

      Accounting is a separate field than Project Controls. If you decide in the future to move from accounting to cost controls, then these videos would be helpful.

    What are the sizes of the projects and these budget allocation for these projects?

      Regardless of the size of the project, the budget allocation needs to be done by a Cost Controller in the project.
