Hey man, it's a pleasure see you play! I saw others videos of your but I did not understand the reason why yuo have choose ideas unbound instead of catartic reunion. I like the idea to test the forgotten blue common, it maybe deserves the spot, but what about catartic reunion? Sometimes the cards you put in graveyard as addition cost to pay could be very impactful if the spell is countered. I understand that in some case is not good. Try to explain me you point of view! :D However, thanks for the content and keep going!
Hey, thanks! I'd be happy to explain. This build focuses on blue instead of red, so all our lands produce blue mana, including Cephalid Coliseum. The red spells are just a splash and are cast on turn 3 or later. This way, we can always cast our 1-mana enablers on turn 1 and all our 2-mana plays on turn 2, including cracking Cephalid Coliseum, casting Ideas Unbound, or Life from the Loam. Ideas Unbound works like extra copies of Cephalid Coliseum to make the mana base more consistent. Cathartic Reunion is better, but not by much, and this build has a lot of other 1-mana enablers. If we used Reunion instead of Ideas Unbound, we'd have awkward hands and need to mulligan more often.
You have some seriously classy content! It feels like you are about to begin a great side hustle to make regular content. In particular I am excited to see the evolution of modern dredge, and when you get to it the pioneer dredgeless dredge deck which is super fun because deathrite shaman is legal. For modern I am curious if there is any way to have a sneaky snacker edition? The big problem being that dredge =/= draw so it won't trigger snacker. Either way, thank you so much for the content, stay blessed! I am also curious what you think of including any blue or black flare in the deck?
Thank you! I'm testing both Flares at the moment, but still unsure which one works better in each shell. Pioneer Dredge is on my radar, but unfortunately an important interaction with Insidious Roots is bugged on mtgo.

The sideboard I am still testing out, since it’s in paper I haven’t gotten to test out many different decks.
