Wow!!! I just love love love Chanchan's personality and attitude. Not only is she intelligent but sweet and loving at the same time! I hope the people of S. Korea treat her well and welcome her into their communities. I can clearly tell that she loves Korea and promote it's culture and language to people all over the world. Fighting, Chanchan!!!

She’s so nice and it’s true that in South Korea there’s a lot of discrimination and racist comments mostly directed to SEA people

Very unfortunate. Shame on such a growing country. SEA.... It's their brothers and sisters, not Americans. But they devour Americans, don't they?

Hope they will improve in the future... on kpop side, I think most fan came from SE and other ASEAN county. If they still have that mindsets, look like they just using people for their money... 😔

I’m trilingual. I can speak English, Filipino, and Spanish (intermediate level). It’s hard to juggle these languages but the good thing about it that we have the advantage right from the start.

@@Kat-l9b you’re right on both counts. The auto spell correct changed the spelling of the city, and I wasn’t literate enough to read or write the languages. I was never fluent in either language. Learned both from speaking with my neighbors because I chose to live off the base, which wasn’t customary for single service women. I came to the military with the background of a military brat. So I was in the habit of moving to new places and living among new people, as a ordinary experience. My experience of living there was very similar to living in my mom’s southern hometown in Georgia. People are welcoming and hospitable, so I felt very at home.
