Finally a striker signed who's not 30 years or older. Surely not the finished product but his potential is massive. £64m with potential add ons seems a bit much but when Nunez, Grealish, Enzo and Rice go for 100m plus with little to show, then this deal is ok. Let rivals hate, it shows we're heading back up with a great manager in ETH leading us.

Nunez was ETH's first choice remember. Personally think Nunez would still be a better signing for us, I love his pace and off the ball movement, miles ahead of Hoijland in that regard, we really need to hope he improves massively at United for him to be a success. I still think we need another striker for this season. Surely it won't be Greenwood. Wouldn't even be in this position where we're punting on unproven strikers had Mason kept his brain in his head, he is miles better than both Nunez and Hoijland.

He's a good player but still ETH needs to polish him a bit more and he needs to adjust to the Premier League cz it's not an easy league we have seen big players join and fail so it's time we actually support a player through his ups and downs for a change.. even big name players need time to adjust and he's just a youngster but I still know that there is some risk involved.. maybe signing Osimhen would have been a better option and then afterwards sign a youngster like how we did before under Sir Alex, when we were actually winning the league and not the situation we're facing now.

Don't put so much pressure on him. Just to give you a perspective, Rooney had 17 goals in 43 apps during his first season at Man Utd. If Hojlund manages to hover around the "15 goals"-mark in the following season, he will justify his massive potential.
We have overpaid but this is how transfer market is for a giant club like man united. We have signed one of the best young no 9 in the world. Hopefully he lives up to his potential. Now we need to sign amrabat and get rid of a few players.

The only reason I have faith in him is because of Ten Hag. His stats are not the greatest but he looks like a vicious striker. Hopefully, he fits in the team as the manager wants, and then this price tag will be justified. Just a little scared because of this transfer because I feel we lack quality defensively(we dont have back up defenders) and because we are fine up front already.
I hope we still sign another striker on loan. Martial as a backup means still we are with only 1 striker because will hardly stay fit.

I still think United need to get rid of Martial and get an experienced striker whilst allowing Rasmus to develop at United.
