What blew my mind when I saw it live was knowing those songs are in completely different tunings. Mike is using a digital detuner timed to the transition and it works way too well
Not many bands in metalcore, djent etc. have male and female vocalists. I'm so glad to see it here. They are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands 🤘🏼
@brando300571 I have discovered Spiritbox kinda late..just upon their release of The Fear of Fear EP late 2023. What a banger to celebrate end of 2023 and into 2024 with though!! Quickly I have grown to be an avid fan, following them and looking forward to upcoming release!! Love their album Eternal Blue from front to back!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼
@@blkspiderstryker I also discovered them pretty late. For me it was mid 2023. They kept coming up as a band I might like on Spotify and after a while I finally listened haha. So glad I did. I also love their new EP and Eternal Blue! I think it's so cool that of all people that joined the band somewhat recently, that it was Josh Gilbert previously from As I Lay Dying. Those guys had some legendary contributions to metalcore haha. And I get the feeling Spiritbox will continue to build a major legacy in metal 🤘🏼⚡️🎸
@brando300571 That’s a great story, and thanks for sharing on how you became familiar with Spiritbox! I’ll be sure now to be checking when they’ll have a tour date within Chicago or surrounding suburbs!! I’m pretty sure (since their formation in 2017) I have missed at least two times they’ve had a tour date land in Chicago!! So disappointed ☹️
That high kick is so cute 1:30 shes an adorable person and just her way of transitioning from cleans to screaming is insane, i love spiritbox and Courtney
It's honestly unbelievable how good Courtney is in terms of harsh vocals. Cleans are really good, too, but there's just something to her screams that sets her apart from pretty much anyone else I've heard doing them. And I don't know whether it's her technique or some vocal layers that the band is using live, but considering this is recorded live without any post-production the depth and fullness of the screams is insane. Truly a master of her art.
i wish SB would blow up and get shows where they headline, so many tines at their shows the crowd is just so much deader than it should be. drives me nuts cus they’re incredible, no real weak points in their discography…
Still of the cleanest transitions into another song 😮💨

Love the harmony between Josh and Courtney’s clean vocals

Their bassist Josh Gilbert's old band As I lay Dying did, with Josh doing all the clean vocals.
Josh ain’t kidding anyone with those vocals. Killed it!
AND OBVIOUSLY SHE IS STUPIDLY STUNNING, LOVE HER
Not without makeup.
@@sztig1471it's ok, I like her without makeup, she's natural at least.
@@sztig1471 even without make up she's beautiful too, why are you so insecure?
@SHVDXWLXRD not insecure to have an opinion
@@sztig1471 Clearly are insecure if you have to bring that up

She won't fuck you bro
5:23 bassist nailed that vocal for real
That's Josh Gilbert. He was the former bassist and clean vocalist for As I Lay Dying. Dudes got pipes!

She has so much control over her voice. It's unmatched in my opinion.
josh so beautifulllll singin
Honestly his clean singing made as i lay dying that much better of a band
I totally agree @@OddoRocket
I know rightttt, he sang yellow jacket better than Sam himself live😳😳
7:02 josh being like “I killed that”
She's having a good time performing, I'm having a good time watching 🤩
they need to use Josh's vocals on the next recprd, he is such a great singer
HIS SING CUTE!
I’m calling it here. Josh with have his spin off band in the next 10 years.
He did 10 years ago. It was called Wovenwar
Woww thank you👍🤘
Makin mateng Spiritbox!
Zev, the invisible drummer ;)
Shed make an amazing live action Tifa from FF7.
Just casually singing Sam Carter's part
