Still say it, very sweet content you offer man. My battlefront experience has improved a LOT since I took your tips into account. Regarding people on how to not suck at Darth Vader is easy: Vader is a short range player so avoid open areas and stick to your teamates. Second, try to take out enemy infantry mostly with the Saber Throw, leave the force choke and the saber rush for desperate situations and for moments when you want to inflict as much damage as possible on heroes and hard to kill targets. Any other stuff I forgot feel free to post down in the comment for others to see, till we get a video on Otaku's tips.
Vader's lack of speed makes him vulnerable in open spaces so it's better to stick in close combat areas in order to offset that. Although, very nice logic into saber throw and force choke ranges, I will give them a try man!
Recently I've found that I like to stick with Greedo when I play as Palpatine. Greedo provides a range advantage that Palpatine doesn't have. If you keep Greedo's health topped up and use chain lightning to stun enemies for Greedo to hammer away at, they can be a deadly duo.

I have avoided him for the most part but given he and Leia more of a go recently with a different mindset as you recommend. You can afford to be much more aggressive with Leia given her offensive abilities but not so much with Palpatine. His attacks are just too slow and the range is too limited. so I just tried to, as you said, slink around and pick off enemies where I can but continually drop off pick ups for the supporting players. Certainly lived longer this way, can't tell exactly how much stronger it made my team but I guess that's the best way to play him.
+CSD 1409 Sounds like you did it right. I know it may not feel like you are being the most productive, but think of it like this. Just staying alive while their heroes die off is giving your team the advantage and possibly the win. It's not about getting tons of kills and taking on heroes, it's just about not dying.
I love Palpatine in Hero Hunt, I feel that if you try to at least hide a bit, and get them all together and use that chain lightning. Ugh, best feeling when you get like 4 or more kills. OscarGaming You can get an external capture device that you just connect to your console and to a computer. It actually gives you much higher quality then the default capture functions. As for motivation...I started this to help the community but I also do love making videos and cutting together bad-ass gameplay with cool animations and stuff. I guess, if you don't want to do it then just don't, RUclips isn't for everyone.

I always pick Palpatine or Leia in Walker Assault. It's the best choice for making your team win. First, Shocktroopers and Honour Guards are a real advantage, and if you play well enough with those heroes, you can get a lot of kills and stay alive much longer than with Luke or Darth. Plus you can give your team mates power ups. Personnaly I prefer a slightly lower K/D rate and a win than a high rate and a loss. I just hate to lose ;p
Palpatine has been my favourite hero/villain since the games' release... Always makes me die a little inside when I see someone misuse him: easiest and best hero/villain.

+Fett_Li Hey, thanks a lot...I do try to make sure my videos have value and substance, none of that 13 year old behavior. I do use scan pulse in a lot of my videos but that's just coincidental, I actually use explosive shot and other things much more often. I think it's still usable but the is a huge difference. You can no long use it to track down and take out multiple opponents, now it's more of a "use in dangerous situations to know enemy positioning" type use.
Ok i have some issues with this video for one iv noticed that none of these videos included any standard troops using the bacta bomb to their advantage another thing i noticed was that no one you was fighting had explosive shot combined with beserker trait another thing is that his lightning is way to weak how is he support if he takes an entire meter to kill one honor guard? another thing is that his healing ability only gives you 16 points of health back another issue is he has slow cool down times another thing is that his lightning has a very limited range and another thing i hated hearing was the emperor being compared to a cock roach were talking about the most feared villain in the galaxy having to be used with a cock roach play style we are talking about the guy lord vader calls master bows down to and serves that to me kills the joy of being the emperor not only that all the new heroes coming out seem to be making him pointless to play as i love the emperor but right now he sucks i have 2 videos uploaded in my personal opinions play list for emperor palpatine about why i think he sucks as a villain i mean were tallking about the guy who fought darth maul and his brother at the same time and beat them both they turned my fav villain from a bad ass into a human vibrator and honestly dude i can do more damage as a standard troop when i use explosive shot combined with the beserker trait using a A280C or a DH-17 with Jet Pack and Bacta Bomb it is the most OP set up in this game on my video it shows how much you have to do to kill one standard troop who uses this set up this video kinda feels a bit out of date or something because these tactics are barely usable anymore unless your playing against terrible players in the game.

And you did point out some good things in your video, I love playing as the emperor just because it is the emperor, but as far as gameplay his damage, cool down times, block and his abilities all just suck now. Why would i want to bust my ass for every kill when i can just choose Vader , or Greedo and kill an entire enemy team by myself without help from anyone? Han Solo can do it as well, and so can Nin Numb or how ever his name is spelt. He has just became a pointless character to use now, and please for the love of god do not use that BS line on saying that i am probably just bad with the Emperor. I have been using the Emperor since the launch of the game, and i know how to play as him he is just so weak compared to everyone else now that he has became pointless to play as.

Dinojengi ja Kumi-Kalle_139, still they could update it to make him use the lightsaber to deflect shots, and make him use his light saber in his force dash and kill enemies caught in it.
Wasn't he 80-something and wielded a cane by this time, as shown in Return of the Jedi? He would never dispatch himself to do dirty work, and his red guards would be near him at all times. But don't get me wrong it's no excuse for having him as playable character, as he was badass but always overlooked/under appreciated. Would be cool to see an old Palpatine using a lightsaber though despite whatever he said about them, or doing something other than lightning. Also off-topic the Revenge of the Sith's Palpatine looked less scrawny (more bulky) than the Return of the Jedi Palpatine, but again probably due to him being decades younger than in ROTJ, that or different makeup & costume choices during the film making. (ep 3 Palpatine looked like he was wearing a full face mask, while ep 6 Palpatine looked like he had white paint with glued on ridges/wrinkles).

I can't even begin to count the amount of people I've seen die because they don't use the shield against Luke's lightsaber attacks. A combination of stunning and shield really gets him good.

His abilities are so good some consider unnatural
Another tip is to constantly jump/float when you channel lightning. Keep aiming, and it will be very hard for people to damage you consistently.

I find jumping over other heroes while zapping them keeps them from engaging you properly as the normal lightning can be used while jumping.

My absolute favourite villain. Self heals in hero vs villains. Can fly and scare enemies by 'jumping'. Chain lighting and guards. God his laugh is creepy

+Fett_Li Hey, thanks a lot...I do try to make sure my videos have value and substance, none of that 13 year old behavior. I do use scan pulse in a lot of my videos but that's just coincidental, I actually use explosive shot and other things much more often. I think it's still usable but the is a huge difference. You can no long use it to track down and take out multiple opponents, now it's more of a "use in dangerous situations to know enemy positioning" type use.
Ok i have some issues with this video for one iv noticed that none of these videos included any standard troops using the bacta bomb to their advantage another thing i noticed was that no one you was fighting had explosive shot combined with beserker trait another thing is that his lightning is way to weak how is he support if he takes an entire meter to kill one honor guard? another thing is that his healing ability only gives you 16 points of health back another issue is he has slow cool down times another thing is that his lightning has a very limited range and another thing i hated hearing was the emperor being compared to a cock roach were talking about the most feared villain in the galaxy having to be used with a cock roach play style we are talking about the guy lord vader calls master bows down to and serves that to me kills the joy of being the emperor not only that all the new heroes coming out seem to be making him pointless to play as i love the emperor but right now he sucks i have 2 videos uploaded in my personal opinions play list for emperor palpatine about why i think he sucks as a villain i mean were tallking about the guy who fought darth maul and his brother at the same time and beat them both they turned my fav villain from a bad ass into a human vibrator and honestly dude i can do more damage as a standard troop when i use explosive shot combined with the beserker trait using a A280C or a DH-17 with Jet Pack and Bacta Bomb it is the most OP set up in this game on my video it shows how much you have to do to kill one standard troop who uses this set up this video kinda feels a bit out of date or something because these tactics are barely usable anymore unless your playing against terrible players in the game.
#1 For someone that "noticed" so many things, you failed to notice that this video was made well before Berserker trait or Bacta bomb even existed.
#2 Learn to structure your fucking sentences into proper coherent paragraphs if you want people to actually read them.

#4 I "understand" that this video was made before the Bacta Bomb existed. And you did point out some good things in your video, I love playing as the emperor just because it is the emperor, but as far as gameplay his damage, cool down times, block and his abilities all just suck now. He has became an out of date character now, that is not worth using anymore. Why would i want to bust my ass for every kill when i can just choose Vader , or Greedo and kill an entire enemy team by myself without help from anyone? Han Solo can do it as well, and so can Nin Numb or how ever his name is spelt. He has just became a pointless character to use now, and please for the love of god do not use that BS line on saying that i am probably just bad with the Emperor. I have been using the Emperor since the launch of the game, and i know how to play as him he is just so weak compared to everyone else now that he has became pointless to play as.

He doesn't really fight much with the lightsaber. He seems to stick more to the Force.
Palpatine has remarked that he views lightsabers as weak and he prefers his force abilities over all.

Wasn't he 80-something and wielded a cane by this time, as shown in Return of the Jedi? He would never dispatch himself to do dirty work, and his red guards would be near him at all times. But don't get me wrong it's no excuse for having him as playable character, as he was badass but always overlooked/under appreciated. Would be cool to see an old Palpatine using a lightsaber though despite whatever he said about them, or doing something other than lightning. Also off-topic the Revenge of the Sith's Palpatine looked less scrawny (more bulky) than the Return of the Jedi Palpatine, but again probably due to him being decades younger than in ROTJ, that or different makeup & costume choices during the film making. (ep 3 Palpatine looked like he was wearing a full face mask, while ep 6 Palpatine looked like he had white paint with glued on ridges/wrinkles).

I can't even begin to count the amount of people I've seen die because they don't use the shield against Luke's lightsaber attacks. A combination of stunning and shield really gets him good.
