I never got the add on, but I think the g2 colors actually help him out a bit more. I think out of all of them, Blackjack, Dragstrip and Offroad are probably my favorite out of this crew. great review!

I still have a Generation 2 Optimus Prime. I have an original Megatron but it's in terrible shape. I think I donated an Armada version of Unicron I used to have. etc.
Defensor was one of the few combiners my dad didn’t have! I have updated versions of Defensor but I’m in the middle of trying to sell them. We used to have a G2 Devastator and Prime, but they’re long gone somewhere. I have a Japanese reissue of Megatron, though he’s incomplete and there’s some sort of block that prevents him for transforming fully. I recently sold of two Armada Unicrons. Basically I’m trying to size down in my collecting and limit it almost exclusively to Masterpiece (the supposed definitive versions of all G1 characters). That’s still cool to hear about your collection Jaybo! Still hoping they bring Unicron to PlanetSide 😳
@@linkfrostimus haha (Planetside.) I had more than that but I am just going off recent memory. I was a kid when G1 hit and I turned 48 this year if that gives you an idea. As far as gaming goes, I still play a ton of Overwatch (2) and recently I grabbed Diablo 4 and Street Fighter 6. I barely bought anything last year but THIS year there has been a bunch of good titles. Not sure how good Baldur's Gate 3 will turn out but then there is Starfield which I've been waiting years for, and finally the DLC for Cyberpunk will hit
@@Energyone Oo nice! I've been actually having a lot of fun with BF2042 recently, and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has taken a huge chunk of my life away. Been meaning to give Cyberpunk a try when I get the chance.
This combiner make me wanna buy PE kit before buying UW set. Thanks to upgrade kits, they turn out pretty good. Still one of my fav mainline combiner until now.
As long as you can find the kits for a good price I recommend them! The only think I failed to mention is that the kit's still struggle with stability, but it looks way cooler!
I enjoyed Menasor at its time for what it was...disfunctional mess. To this day i prefer it over thr legacy simply due to the fact that it aint complicated . A relic from a not so distant past , unpaneled , unhinged and available through 2 waves only.
It was an actual combiner and not some cars slapped on a skeleton. I also prefer cars to face foward on the legs. Most importantly, it was 1/3 the cost of the Legacy combiners. Legacy is technically better but not worth 3 times the price.
Combiner Wars Menasor could have been better. It's Prefect Effects upgrade kits made it a little better. But Legacy Menasor is better. And SDCC revealed that the Legacy Stunticons are being reissued in a 5-pack box set in G1 toy colors.
My Combiner Wars Motormaster broke off the piece that holds the arms especially on the left arm, after nine years since I bought the figures that got me back into Transformers. PC-04 may have been a great upgrade kit for CW Menasor, but I'm not sure whether it's going to be good just to give the shoulder joints more stability or not.

I actually prefer cw menasor over legacy. But yes you have to get the upgrades. There is a 3d print set for blackjack too.
