Got Burlington 1819 thanks to you and TLTG and I have loved it immensely. Cumin is definitely there for me but its more of a background player on me that makes it sharper instead of smelling like b/o. The main parts on me are the grapefruit, mint, saffron and the smell of soil after a rainy day (oak moss). Absolutely love the way it changes through the wearing and had to make it my signature. Super versatile scent ❤
I got a sample of mefisto months ago and my wife loved it but i didn't so much right off. This vid made me go back and check it out again and man this stuff is good! Had to check to make sure my wife still had the same reaction so yeah.....ordering a full bottle! Appreciate you my man!👍🏾
Great list! I would choose Uden for Xerjoff. It's has bright citruses and the warm amber and booziness. For me, it works year-round and for all occasions
I tried nethum man 24 and b683 extrait randomly just today and omg become some of my favorite ever perfumes. Sometimes there are perfumes less known that smells amazingly good.
I have a feeling you might have been referencing to a certain robes08 who was calling out a bunch of influencers for being shills for desirtoxic l’intense, i used to respect his opinion but him calling u out when you clearly weren’t even that impressed or hyping it up in your shorts kinda threw me off. Imo ur one of the most genuine reviewers out there, pretty much the only reviewer i watch💯
Exactly my thoughts. He is definitely aware of the video. But I'm glad he doesn't directly feed into the unnecessary drama. Robes video was just another one highlighting something we know about FragCom, but not doing enough research on each creator beyond surface level judging, is not only a disservice to the person, but makes you look as a resentful fool. Justin is one of the only creators whose opinion I take seriously. Putting him alongside the likes of Erica or Cuba is just ridiculous lmao
Robes had a very good point. i mean how many times have you seen it on a top 10? 85% of YT/tiktok influencers are shills, maybe not for desir, but other houses... justin is great but some of these Zaharoff bros make me sick. (theyre really not that good)
@@tjpfz6 He would’ve had a good point if he did some actual research instead of throwing people who didn’t deserve it under the bus and coming off as a hater. To me he came off very righteous and resentful, if you want to call people out, call the right people out and do careful research, so youre not just throwing around wild accusations. Furthermore, if there was a brand that you loved, and they sent u a fragrance, would you not talk about it? Would you not be excited? Reviewers are humans too lol, they can be susceptible to excitement. Robes general point i agree with, but it could’ve been done much more respectfully and considerate.
😂nah robes is right in his assessment too many Shills and hype men done ruined the experiences of many newbies such as myself who spent a couple grand on short lived bulksht
Great vid. Love the Colonia line but for me, Colonia Essenza hits hardest, especially in spring and summer. Classy and super old school in feel without going too "hotel soap bar of yesteryear" aromatic, like Floris No. 89 or something, IMO...
I have all three H24s, but I think the EDT is a little nicer, and more unique than the EDP. However, I agree with you of them both better (subjectively) than their newest flanker. The EDT is just very very special.
Burlington1819 may very well be the classiest freshie. It smells natural and all the notes play a part but none more than the grapefruit and cumin to my nose
Oef difficult one with these great houses. Which would be my choice? - Micallef: DesirToxic/Osaïto - AdP: Fico di Amalfi - Mancera: Sicily (bored by Cedrat Boisé - Roja: Burlington 1819 - Lalique: Pour Homme Lion - Hermes: TdH Eau Givrée - Xerjoff: 40 knots. (The classy versatility king) - Brioni: EDP intense. Also works great during summer evenings or in the office (In northwest Europe climate). Haven't smelled Suave yet.
@@stayfreshproductions yeah, i am subbed, so i don’t know why I wasn’t seeing them. It happens with a few people i follow. I get plenty of lousy videos served though.
I'm a sucker for fruits, so for Mancera I'd go to Cedrat Boise or Sicily. For Hermes I would agree with you, H24 EDP is so beautiful and different.. No experience with the rest of the houses. Quick question, is H24 EDP considered a barbershop fragrance?
@@blee1234us yes I have I bought MM x Gent Scents EDGEWATER but gifted to my nephew because it stays sweet for too long long. I can deal with Sweet notes on an opening but not throughout. I tested out Terra Nova but I already have that scent profile with my afnan taurathi bleu. Which of course are takes on Bulgari Tyger. I own Ktoret 139 Spice but it also stays to sweet for to long. I need a more green and earthy drydown. My most cherished of my collection is Terre D Hermes Intense Vetiver and Edt. Then I’m gonna die loving the Creed Aventus dna. Then it’s my Encre Noire collection. Guerlain L’Homme Ideal EDP, Bleu De Chanel, Tom Ford Ombré Leather. Those are my most worn fragrances.
@jusskitten9773 thanks for the insight. If you like the aventus DNA, you might want to try Jet black intense, and even 511 Black Tie. They are both solid. Thanks for the tip on the Terre de Hermes intense vetiver. I didn't know I liked vetiver until I tried MM Zest and vetiver. I love that scent so I may try the Hermes. Thanks for the insight. Stay strong brother
I just blind-bought Terre De Hermes L'eau Intense Vetiver, and it smells like Colonia Intensa's big brother. Very similar to my nose. You get that too? Luckily I really love them both.
I gonna say i'm not a fan of Xerjoff's but the most intresting and highest quality Xerjoff i've smelled has to be LUXOR. I would highly recommand you test this one out, it might blow you away with the quality of the oud and the tobacco.
Love the series, Mancera perfumes feel incomplete to me somehow, like an imperfect painting or a discordant cover song, not sure why.. In contrast, Aqua di Parma is one of those houses where I find it hard to choose from because most of their scents are amazing. Intensa is probably my favourite. I picked a 50 ml in 2015 and I think it was the original Colonia, I used it all by 2018 or so, have been yearning to get something from the house and can't decide between Fico di amalfi and Colonia Intensa.. Haven't tried Burlington but with Rojas I'd go Ilysium as I think its very versatile. As for Lalique, I'd have to try Indigo as Encre Black Extreme is my favorite from the brand but hardly versatile. H24 EDP is really nice, the Herb Viver to me smells like spring rain, I really like it. Have to give Mefisto a wearing to judge Xerjof. Have to try the Brioni perfumes.
HI Justin thanks for this amazing review could you do a review on the fragrances house of Electimuss London they have some amazing scent like Spice D arno
I only purchase small bottles (when possible) because when you rotate, and have a large collection, I don't see the value in spending more money. Just my opinion. I actually wish I could purchase 1oz bottles!
Hey Justin, I’ve been watching your channel for years and have heard you go back on forth on the issues of RUclipsrs right to monetize the platform as they should. My issue with your stance on monetization is that while you are free to do so, (in a very brazen way in some cases) you can no longer expect viewers to be trusting of your opinions and views about said perfume I.e it’s why pharma reps are no longer allowed in doctors offices, gifts cannot be accepted by government officials (I realize these are exerted examples that have far more drastic consequences). You are free to make $$$, I simply can no longer trust your point of view… which is why I was here in the first place.
