Nice one Steve, glad your getting sorted , nice to see you on here more and more , I had a crap job in last week , Dacia Stepway , abs light on all the time after starting up , scanned it , no communication, then checked fuses to see if blown , all good , saw a couple of other none permanent codes on engine , so thought would clear them, now it dosent start , and comes up with a dongle fault , apparently common when the abs module becomes faulty , have removed it , boxed up to go for repair , don't we love cars 😂😂😂😂
Morning Mike, quick question if i may?? Ive bough 2014 plate Vivaro B van of the friend of mine that had very light damage on the front but airbags didn't pop. When i bought it it didn't come with key, but i had local locksmith who made one and coded to van but still dont start. I had faultcodes referring to dongle but Vauxhall specialist suggested thad airbag module (SDM) had to be replaced. Well Sdm was replaced and coded at Vauxhall dealer but van still dnt start. It cranks for 3seconds than it stops. There twol fault codes stored in Ecm related to air temp sensor and glowplugs but nothing that will stop it from firing. I have stripped all wiring loom and checked wires (every single wire of the fault code component flagged as fault code)for resistance and also performed load test and every wire is good. I do beleive Ecm is in sleep mode for some reason and it just doesnt respond. Any ideas? Thanks
@@sekibulja7254 have you checked crankshaft sensor wiring , as they are common for wiring failing near the plug , does it run if sprayed with brake cleaner through the air intake to check mechanically engine is good 👍
@@mikeberry304 morning Mike, thank you for your reply. When i go to live data i can see engine Rpm's as i crank engine and crankshaft/camshaft synchronised. Yes it does run on Easy start. I forgot to mention, open circuit fault code on starter motor relay keeps coming up in bcm....this circuit has been checked and relay replaced but no joy😕
